That monday, Amanda was proudly walking through the hall, humming to some music from her MP3, which she had linked up to some wireless magic earbuds. She was happy from the interactions over the weekend. She wasn't exactly proud of what happened with Constanze, but she was glad that she was healed by now. She kept rubbing her thumb against her hand, she didn't know why, but she wanted to hold Jasminkas hand longer, and even more. She didn't really understand, she had seen this before in some of the anime Jasminka watches, but she never could fathom why people would do that. As she entered her first class and sat down, she continued to bob her head a bit, waiting for people to enter. Constanze was there, early as usual, and messing with Stanbot a little. She seemed to be editing something on its systems while it was sitting on her lap. As Amanda watched this, she could see some of the remnants of the scuff on the asphalt on Constanzes knees, but she smiled nonetheless, happy that Constanze wasn't too badly hurt anymore. When Jasminka came in, she knew class was going to start, and paused her music. She picked up her wand and flicked it, causing the ear buds to disappear. Jasminka seemed excited, Amanda looked at her with a questioning expression. "What's got you so happy?" Jasminka clapped quickly, before grabbing a bag of ginger snaps. "We get our test results back today, I can't wait to see how I do!" Amanda sat back, she was confident that she would do fine. She's used to getting Ds on her tests, since she usually puts in the minimum effort. As the teacher sent out the tests using her magic, giving them to their respective people, the girls all looked down to their papers out of curiosity. Constanze got an A, conventional, with Jasminka and Amanda getting Bs. Amanda's eyes almost bulged out of her head seeing that, she held the test close, and read the name, before scrolling through it to make sure it wasn't someone else's. It was her answers, and her handwriting. Constanze looked over out of concern, before getting shown by Amanda. Constanze smiled at Amanda and gave her a little clap, even Stanbot joined in that. Amanda looked at the grade again, before putting it in the front pocket of her binder so she could see it whenever she's going around school.
Later on that same day, the girls were doing broom runs. Amanda always would ace them, so long as she didn't play with the broom during class. She was waiting for her turn as Constanze was angling her broom's props. Jasminka was going through the track in the ruins alongside a few other girls, staying in the middle of the pack, since it wasn't a race, but some of the girls couldn't help but see it as one. Amanda scoffed as she leaned back on her broom, laying on it with her hands under her head. "What amateurs." Constanze looked up to Amanda, before looking down. She couldn't help but feel odded out by Amanda's recent developments. As she got onto her broom, Amanda looked over, before leaning forward. "Are you ready to go Cons?" Constanze nodded, before the two flew out to catch up with the other girls. Constanze's broom was loud, but that sound was only showing off its power. As Constanze stayed low in the beginning, small rocks and leaves flew around her and her broom as she passed by. Amanda flipped herself up onto the broom, standing on it similarly to a surfboard as it soared onwards. Constanze pulled up alongside Amanda once she got enough speed, and gave her a thumbs up. As the girls flew onwards, Amanda began to try to show off again. Constanze was familiar with her acrobatic showing off, but she couldn't help but show a little concern with how close she was calling it. Amanda kicked off her broom, causing it to take a corner really wide as she fell. It went around a few trees, before being snatched by Amanda as it flew back. Constanze watched in awe as this continued. Using the momentum, Amanda launched herself up in the air, spinning on the spot, before posing a bit, aiming a hand with her palm straight up towards Constanze. Cons responded with a sharp blush, before looking away, causing herself to slow down so she wouldn't hit the ruins. As the broom flew back to Amanda, she grabbed it with the outreached hand, and began to fly straight up. This only caused her to gain the attention of Nelson, the instructor.
As she flew straight up, she yelled in confidence, cheering and raising her arms up and leaning back. The broom increased in speed drastically as she did this, going faster and faster under Amanda's control. Constanze nodded with determination, knowing that what Amanda was doing was beyond unsafe. She pulled up sharply, flying up as straight as she could with the props, trying not to stall the engines. Amanda looked down, seeing Constanze climbing to try to reach Amanda, climbing in a large spiral so as to not stall her broom out. Amanda looked down, "What are you doing Constanze?" She was too far from Constanze to be heard, but as her mind came to her she gasped. It was too late to course correct though, as a large gust of wind at the higher altitudes slammed into her at the side. Due to how she was positioned, she ended up getting launched off of her broom, which began to spiral down towards the ground. As for her, she began to panic as she fell down towards the ground, screaming out for help to anyone who could hear. Constanze squinted and pressed a few buttons on the side of the front of her broom, which caused the rear prop to change the angle of attack, and absorb more magic power. She pulled straight up, flying twice the speed of Amanda easily. Constanze closed her eyes, hoping Amanda would be able to do something, since at this speed it was hard to see anything with the air slamming into her eyes. Amanda grabbed the front of the broom, which caused a major imbalance and caused them to start pulling down. As Amanda began to climb up onto the broom's handle, Constanze's eyes opened to see them flying towards the ground at an incredible angle. She spun the broom, causing Amanda to get flung up onto the top as she began to pull up. Nelson pulled up alongside, trying to help by forming a magic tether to the fronts of the brooms. As she leveled off, a tree shattered the tether, causing Constanze to fly to the side. Amanda grabbed the broom and began to use her acrobatics skills to fly between the trees, turning harshly and nearly stripping the bark off of a few. She headed towards the school at an incredible pace, before Constanze began to hit the air brakes. Amanda got flung back from the sudden change of momentum as the broom began to slow down drastically, getting caught by Constanze. Albeit, Constanze was struggling to hold onto her. As the two landed, everyone saw Constanze holding onto Amanda, one hand under her knees, and the other on her back. Amanda was shivering in fear, holding her arms around Constanze's neck. As Nelson flew down in front of the students, she blew her whistle, before belittling the two. Mainly Amanda, since she could see from the start Constanze was trying to help Amanda, but overall the two both got in trouble.
As the girls were walking back to the school, Amanda couldn't help but overhear some girls muttering about her and Constanze. From what she could gather up, it sounded like people were already spreading rumors of if the two were a thing or not. Jasminka could see Amanda's fists tightening up and put her hand on Amanda's shoulder. She smiled, but ushered Jasminka's hand off, she didn't want people to see that and to talk about that too. As the three waited in line for their lunch, Constanze kept looking at her hands, before tilting her head. She looked up at Amanda, then down to her hands. A couple girls behind her giggled, which startled her. Amanda slowly turned back, giving bombastic side-eye to the girls behind Constanze. They quickly stood straighter and shut up, knowing a mad Amanda is a bad Amanda. Cons and Jasminka got their food first, Amanda ended up asking for something that was still having the next serving prepared, so she had to stand around and wait. By the time she got it, the girls were already seated, as well as a good bit of the cafeteria. She was walking back, overthinking the whole situation with the girls and what people saw. She grimaced a bit, before her mind flashed harshly. She gasped as she kicked the back of her foot, pushing herself up and forwards. She threw her tray out, causing it to slam against the ground and bounce, making a huge mess as she slammed down onto the ground herself. Her face was red in pain and embarrassment as people laughed at her. Jasminka began to stand up quickly, Constanze following in part. Amanda began to stand up, her mind racing as she was being laughed at. She put her hand out, signaling Jasminka and Constanze to stop, surprising the two of them. Akko and her roommates noticed as well, and ran over. Jasminka stepped back, a little concerned as the others began to help. Sucy didn't do much, but she did look at Jasmine and Constanze, seeming surprised Amanda told them off. Akko and Lotte picked Amanda up, who was trying her best to hold back crying. Akko barked at the others for laughing at Amanda, and Diana walked over quickly agreeing. Barbara and Hannah even had to agree, considering how close they have gotten with the girls over time.
In the dorms that night, Amanda didn't seem to come in. Last the girls had seen her was when she was brought to the nurse by Akko and Lotte. Jasminka sighed, and stopped knitting for a moment as well. Constanze looked over, who was laying stomach down in Amanda's bed while messing with her custom game system, which seemed to be derived from a Switch. Jasminka noticed Constanze looking over, before giving her a sheepish sigh. "I feel, something is wrong." Constanze looked down at her game before turning it off, and sitting up, cross legged. She looked as she was sitting on Amanda's bed, before looking at Jasminka. Jasminka thought for a moment, before deciding to ask Constanze directly. She could sense vague memories with her healing if she imbued enough time and magic into it, but she can't gauge emotions quite yet. She tilted her head as she spoke up, "Constanze?" Cons looked up to her, since she was being addressed. "You and Amanda seem much closer than you used to be. I seem to be much closer to her as well." Constanze looked down and rolled her lips pensively. Jasminka smiled, knowingly, "I feel like you should tell her." Constanze seemed cross, and pointed at Jasminka with a furled brow. She was effectively telling Jasminka that she should talk to Amanda, thinking Amanda would prefer Jasminka over her. Jasminka shook her head, "You're too modest. Constanze, what would she like about me?" Constanze put both of her hands out towards Jasminka, before looking around. She reached, before tumbling off the bed a bit. She groaned as she grabbed the chalkboard off of her bed, and wrote on it. She showed Jasminka what she wrote. "You're nice!" it reads. Jasminka smiled, "So are you." Constanze nodded, before sitting back on Amanda's bed. She looked down, before sighing. Jasminka chimed in once more, "Perhaps we should ask her when she's back? After all, it would be her opinion." Jasminka couldn't help but look down and continue to knit. She felt a connection towards Amanda and Cons, and she couldn't choose between the two. She was overprotective of both, and she really wished Cons would make up her mind and choose Amanda. That way, she wouldn't have to feel the odd tug of her heart between the two. As for Cons, she laid down on the bed, sprawling out a bit as she stared up at the top bunks bottom. She had a close desire for Amanda's affection, but couldn't help but see Jasminka as a form of motherly figure to her. She felt close to both of them, and didn't want to choose. She felt Jasminka would be better for Amanda, considering Amanda listens to Jasminka, and had a tight connection. She groaned, indecisive. She turned her body, facing towards the wall, trying to think it over. Jasminka continued to knit, trying to take her mind off it.
Amanda was walking through the halls at night, she looked at the hallway which had her dorm on it. She began to walk towards it, before stopping. She ground her teeth, using magic barriers on them so as to not damage them with how much pressure she was applying. Her fists clenched up, causing small lights beside her. She shook her head, and began to turn away, the lights seemed to have disabled as she walked away. She managed to get into the cafeteria as she walked around, looking up to see the night crew having dinner. She began to head over to get her dinner as well, before seeing Akko sitting down, likely having a late night snack. Akko was known to have a devious appetite, so Amanda wasn't exactly surprised. As Amanda grabbed her tray, she sighed, walking over and sitting across from Akko. Akko looked up, in a nightgown type of thing, as opposed to Amanda who was still in her school clothes. Akko turned her head, "You're up quite late." Amanda looked up from staring down at her tray, and spoke softly. "I could say the same to you." Akko continued to eat as Amanda sat there. Amanda picked up the pizza slice she got before looking at Akko. "You don't, think I am, clumsy, do you?" Akko pondered a bit, before speaking her mind. Just as Amanda wanted, "No, not usually. Today seemed really odd for you though." She continued to eat her food before tilting her head. "You tripping with your tray, and you and Con-" Amanda snapped her a look with her eyes, but kept the rest of her face a rather neutral expression. Akko remembered whenever Jasminka was mentioning Constanze, so she stopped talking. Amanda sighed, before taking a bite of the pizza. Akko couldn't help though, but asked. "What is it between you and Constanze? Jasminka seemed concerned, and how you responded to her at the party. You seem more worried about her than you normally are." Amanda sighed, before leaning back. She knew talking to Akko was like venting to a log. Some information can soak in, but it would be hell to get it back out, so she didn't really mind telling her some things. "Alright, I will tell you, but you have to promise me not to say a word." Akko nodded excitedly, hoping to help Amanda, but also wanting to hear what was going on. Amanda looked at Akko with a serious expression. "Are you sure you understand?" Akko stood up and smiled brightly. "Not a word! I promise!"
Amanda sighed, and began to stare at her tray. "I think I... like someone..." Akko didn't seem all too surprised, but not for the reason Amanda would have thought. "What? You say that like you have never liked someone before." Amanda's face scrunched up, feeling offended. "I have liked people before. But something feels... different this time..." Akko listened intently, before Amanda spoke up again. "I... There's a feeling in my chest that I have whenever I am around Jasminka and Constanze. I... I have had this feeling before. But nothing good ever came of it, so I don't know. But my body keeps wanting more of that feeling..." Akko thought a little, "Do you think you are in love with Jasminka or Constanze?" Amanda shook her head, before looking at Akko. "I get that feeling with both of them, even if the other is absent. Jasminka makes me feel so happy, her attitude is so calming... But I don't think she would like me, I am far too rambunctious for her. And Constanze... I just, want to hold her close, and make her feel happy. But she's so anxious, she would think I am babying her. And I feel like she would hate me if I did that." Akko looked down. "Why not think about the positives of both, and their cons? Choose the one which makes you happiest?" Amanda looked at Akko with frustration, "That's just it Akko, I can't choose which one would make me happiest. Both of them make me happy..." *She sighs slowly, putting her hands over her face. Muffled through her hands, she spoke.* "I wish I could have both of them..." Akko looked shocked at Amanda, "You can't do that! That's like, forbidden love! That would never work!" Amanda slammed her fists down onto the table, clattering the trays. The lights showed up again, but it was her fists being encased in fire. "You don't think I know that?!" She said, looking at Akko. Akko looked sheepishly towards Amanda, "N-now lets calm down..." She didn't know what to do in this situation, she's never seen Amanda so angry that this happened. Amanda stood up as Akko scooted back in her chair, "You don't think, after seeing everything in this school, and throughout my life. That I of all people don't know that!?" Her hair began to glow like a fire, before bursting into a waving, waking flame. Akko stood up and stumbled backwards, scared of Amanda. Amanda shook her head, "You think I am crazy... You think I am a... monster..." As she spoke, she slowly lowered her hands to her sides. Her eyes became bright white, as if staring straight into a lamp. Her skin and clothes became charcoal black, all but her hands and feet. Those seemed to be encased in flames. She took a step back, looking up at Akko. To her, she was completely normal still, but Akko saw what she turned into, and was scared. Amanda tried to speak out, but her speech was garbled by flames coming from her mouth.

Akko's eyes widened and her breath was almost stolen from her. Amanda's head looked down in sorrow, as the moon in the giant windows of the dining hall was blood red. A lunar eclipse had happened, and must have caused Amanda's magic to overpower her. Behind Amanda's head, just above it, the moon looked through the windows. The cross that Chariot had made all those years ago looked like an eye, peering in over Akko. It lit up the entire room like a blood red demon eye. The light wasn't red, it was a minor amber, but it didn't feel right, especially with Amanda standing there. Amanda's chest pumped as she tried not to cry, she looked up and saw Akko standing in fear. As she shed a tear, it came out like molten silicate, and when it dropped, it cooled in the air, before hitting the ground as a tear shaped glass object. It cracked, and broke across the ground. She tried to take a step away from Akko, before shrieking in immense pain. Akkos eyes dashed to the side, seeing Diana in the back with Barbara and Hannah on each side of her aiming their wands. Seems like Diana saw Amanda when patrolling for oddities from the lunar eclipse. After all, these eclipses, otherwise known as blood moons, have been historically known to be chaotically powerful with magic. Akko shouted out, but it was drowned out by Amanda's pain. Amanda held onto her shoulder, trying to hold the blood from trailing out. Luckily Diana's shot didn't hit a vital, since it was mainly a warning shot, but it cut considerably deep into the shoulder. She yelled out in pain, but it only came out as a warped, flaming wrath of sound. She turned back and looked at Diana, who was aiming at her. "Stand down demon, you have no place here." Amanda's eyes widened, before her face contorted into anger. This eclipse formation seems to have been fueled by this type of anger, as the flames roared to an extreme volume as she yelled out at Diana. "A demon?! What have I done to deserve such a name?! Diana, what have I done!?" Her vision caught up, and her body looked differently, but due to the magic and her rage, she didn't notice. She put her hand out, before blasting a large swath of flames out towards Diana. Diana ducked while Hannah and Barbara dodged to the side. Akko yelled out once more, drowned out again by the flames, before running over to Diana.
Diana tried to fire a counter spell, which began to push against the flames coming from Amanda's hand. Akko ran over and tackled Diana, causing her spell to end. The flames had gotten so powerful from being pushed back that they slammed against the rear wall and banked off of it. The night crew at the cafeteria ran off to get some of the teachers, knowing that they had no way to solve this themselves. Diana looked at Akko and grimaced, "What are you doing Akko!? I am trying to remove this demon!" Akko was breathing heavily, before she finally was able to speak. "That's not a demon, That's-" Amanda rushed over and slammed into them with their forearm Akko got slammed into the wall, causing the wind to get knocked out of her. Amanda's neck snapped towards Diana, before she tried to punch her. Diana deflected it with a magic shield, before standing up and forming a sword out of her wand. Amanda seemed to have an unusual amount of control with this magic, considering she has never been seen to use flame magic before. She snapped her finger before forming a complete mimic of Diana's weapon, except made of fire. The two began to sword fight, at first Diana was pushing Amanda back, but it was only temporary. She began to sweat in strain, before Amanda slashed harshly, pushing on Diana's blade, before she flipped back, and kicked the bottom of Diana's hand, causing her to be disarmed. Amanda landed and slashed with her sword, knocking Diana's wand/sword across the room. As Diana gained her footing, she began to sprint for it, nearly getting cut off by a large blast of flame from Amanda again. Diana tucked and rolled, before grabbing the sword. She turned it back into her wand and made a giant shield out of it, watching as the flames pressed against it. She winced, usually her magic would far surpass other students, especially Amanda. Akko got up during this, finally getting her breath back, she looked and saw this happening. She looked to Hannah and Barbara, who were hiding behind a turned over table. She ran over, sliding next to them. "Fetch Constanze and Jasminka! Now!" They were about to question Akko before she gave a sharp look. "Now!" She began to sprint away towards Diana, picking up an old shield used for decoration on the wall to use as a blast shield from the flames. The girls had no idea what Constanze and Jasminka had to do with the demon, but they got up and ran to collect them anyway. Akko slid up next to Diana and helped her keep the shield up, Diana looked at Akko furiously. "What is this thing?!" Akko responded, even angrier, for Diana's negligence, "That 'thing' is Amanda! The power of the eclipse has taken her over I think!" Diana's eyes widened, realizing what she had just done. Akko slaps Diana, "Don't think about it now! Keep the shield up!"
Constanze was having her knees looked at by Jasminka, just in case something was still damaged. All the sudden, their door flies open, startling Constanze so badly she kicked Jasminka in the chest, causing her to back up a bit in mild pain. Barbara spoke up first, surprising Hannah as she got pushed aside. "Akko needs you two in the cafeteria!" Hannah pushes Barbara out of the way and groans. "It's an emergency!" The girls looked to each other, before nodding and grabbing their wands and important items, before following Hannah and Barbara to the cafeteria, running behind them. Neither of them said anything, but they both shared a thought. "I hope it isn't Amanda." As they ran into the cafeteria, they saw more of the battle had gone down, and not well either. Some of the teachers had arrived, some of the older ones wouldn't believe that it was Amanda, considering the eclipse can't just naturally imbue witches usually. Chariot formed a bow, firing at Amanda, which luckily missed. Akko tried to speak to the teachers, but they kept shoving her away. Hannah and Barbara ran over to Akko amidst all of the chaos. "We have brought them!" they said in Unison. Constanze was hiding behind Jasminka, who was trying to get a view on what was happening. Akko began to run over to them, which garnered some of Amanda's attention. She tried to make a flame column to stop Akko from running, not seeing her roommates. Akko slid underneath it, and she ended up getting slammed in the chest by a magical blast from Nelson. She curled back a bit, screaming in pain. Akko slid to a halt, Jasminka noticed who this chaotic entity was. Just from the build alone, she could tell it was Amanda. She began to whimper a bit in fear, before Akko spoke up. "Jasminka, Constanze, you need to stop Amanda! Something has happened!" The girls shook their heads, neither knew what to do, and they didn't want to hurt Amanda. Akko's cheeks puffed up as she turned, and she raised her wand. "Metamorphis, Franciesse!" As a cloud of smoke erupted from her, she stood as an elephant. She wanted to use the loud sound of the elephant to carry her voice, so she took a deep breath. She then yelled to catch everyone's attention, "AMANDA!" she yelled out, causing everyone to stop, and Amanda to swing her body in Akko's direction, staring towards the sound. Seeing this response, Chariot blocked the other staff that were helping her fight from attacking. Akko lost the disguise and stepped out of the way of the girls.
Amanda stopped attacking, but was still furious, she was breathing heavily as she stared at the girls. Akko looked at them, and was about to speak before Jasminka walked forwards. "Amanda...are you alright?" Tears were falling from her face, which caused Amanda to stand straight up, and lose some of that aggression. She didn't say anything, but somehow Jasminka knew that Amanda was happy to see her. Constanze walked up beside Jasminka, a Stanbot in front of her to speak for her. Akko slowly walked up behind the two, and held each of their shoulders in a hug type of thing. "You guys should tell her how you feel..." She was expecting this to be remedied by Amanda hearing that the girls had positive reception of her. After all, she knew they had close connections with each other, she had no knowledge of their thoughts on the relationship matter though. Jasminka took in a deep breath, Constanze tried to take a step back, but Akko kept her from walking back. Amanda began to get angry from seeing these reactions, and the flames on her fists began to increase. Akko looked at the two, "Alright... On three..." The girls looked at each other, both had some idea that the other liked Amanda. "One..." They blushed, looking down. Stanbot got prepared to say what Constanze was thinking, considering she likely spoke with them on her own time, giving them information so they could talk for her. Jasminka took in a deep breath as Akko continued to count down. "Two..." The girls looked up at Amanda and nodded, Amanda's face furled, and flames began to slowly course up her arms, getting angry about what she thinks the consensus will be. "Three!" Akko said, pushing on their backs. Everyone was ready, either to attack, or to defend, depending on the person. The girls spoke at once, Jasminka on her own, and Constanze through the Stanbot. "Amanda, I love you!" burst out of Jasminka, as the Stanbot raised its arms. "Constanze loves you Amanda!" Everyone's eyes widened, including Amanda, whose jaw slowly dropped. Her pupils came back, and she slowly looked down. She saw her hands, and looked up at them, she took a step back, having flashbacks again to when she was young. It was somewhat more detailed now, she could remember holding someone's hand before the yelling, but it wasn't fully remembered yet. She shook her head, her speech was garbled, but somehow the girls could understand it. "Look at me, I'm a monster... You're lying!" She said, yelling at the two.
Constanze shook her head, before Jasminka spoke up. "Why would we lie about that?!" She said, looking at Amanda. "You have helped us through so much, and you are a marvelous friend!" As she was trying to hold back tears, Constanze looked towards Amanda, blushing and putting her arms out, trying to address to Amanda that she would be safe. Amanda listened to them, before the flames began to die down, and the charcoal-like skin began to dissipate. She looked up at them, and spoke through her tears. "I... I can't choose... You guys shouldn't love me... L-look at me... I-its forbidden..." Jasminka took one of Amanda's hands, and then with her other hand, she took Constanze's. Constanzes open hand took Amanda's Amanda's flames cut, and she looked nearly back to normal. Jasminka smiled, "Why choose? We are both right here, we can be happy together. Like we always were, just, with this next step." Amanda's eyes got drowned out in tears, as her body completely reformed back. Akko and Diana looked out the window, seeing that the moon was over the school and no longer through the window. Would it be good timing, or did the girls really help that much? Regardless, they were glad that the girls pacified Amanda. The teachers smiled at the girls, yet still a little upset that they were attacking a student. Amanda bawled, letting out all of her sorrow as the two hugged her. She felt so sorry, but also in incredible pain due to the shots she had taken from the teachers. But she didn't mind, to her, this was the medicine that could cure those injuries. Akko looked to Chariot with a face of wonder, before being responded with a knowing face, and nodding, alerting Akko that everything was ok. Nelson seemed ashamed of herself, but she stayed positive, knowing that she was just in a state of misunderstanding and was protecting the school. Jasminka patted Amanda's back lightly, "ittle be ok... let it all out." Amanda's tears fell heavy, but she knew this feeling in her chest meant something now. Because of Akko, and because of this... It took a few days before Amanda was fully healed, but she would still have scars from some of the hits, especially Diana's. Over these few days, the news has spread of what had happened, but Amanda didn't really mind. Chariot and Nelson had some say in what was changed with the news, stating it was a demon irrelevant to the students, and left out the end part. Some kids noticed Amanda, Constanze, and Jasminka being a little more affectionate, but most didn't mind or care. For all three of them, this was a new chapter to their life, and their friendship. If you could still call it that, and not something a little more.
