I'm having breakfast while waiting for the time to leave. I'm a bit excited because today is the first day of school.
When my alarm goes off, I head to school. Since it's not far, I walk there.
"Good morning, young man," an old lady greets me.
She lives in the neighborhood and says good morning to me every day, which I return with a smile.
"Good morning, ma'am." After all, with her around, I can at least have a minimal excuse for my fake life as a human, which ends up being perfect.
On my way, I come across a street with several cats. When I approach to cross the street, many of them run away while others make threatening sounds.
Of course, this isn't normal, because I've seen others pass by here without the cats reacting.
If I had to guess the reason, I'd say it's because they're animals. They're more instinctive beings, and probably because of my Karma,
they have this reaction. It's not just them—almost all animals react this way when I get close.
Ignoring this, I continue my journey. I arrive at school just on time and enter, looking around curiously. Although I've seen it before,
I must say the place is beautiful.
It's quite different from how it looks in the anime, where it seems like a generic school.
I get to my classroom and choose a seat. I pick the chair next to Shido’s. It seems kind of cliché that the main character never changes seats,
always being at the last desk near the window, but there’s nothing to do about it.
While I'm thinking about the best approach to take as a student and what image I want to present to them, the classroom fills up,
with everyone choosing their seats. I see Shido arriving and greet him.
"Good morning, Shido-san." I wanted to say more than just a greeting, but we’re not friends, so it's hard to start a conversation.
"Good morning, Aurelio-san," Shido says with a somewhat cheerful voice, then sits down in the seat near the window next to me.
"This is my first year at this school. Do you know if the teacher we'll have is nice?" I decide it's best to use a school-related topic to start a conversation.
"It's Ms. Tamae, Tamae Okamine. She's really nice, she was our teacher last year. She teaches social studies, and most of the students
call her Tama-chan." I already knew this, but it seems to have worked to start our conversation.
"Hmm."
"Interesting."
"Tell me more about it."
I use three conversation techniques to make him keep talking about the subject while I simply ignore what he’s saying.
I don't think what he's going to say is relevant anyway, but I pretend to pay attention.
He continues talking about her as if I were already his friend, even though this is our second conversation.
"Do anime protagonists not know that rambling like this with someone you hardly know is just annoying?" I then notice her.
Tobiichi Origami. She seems to be looking at me. I wonder if she's noticed me. I feel a little nervous, after all, if she does notice me, it will mess up my plans,
even though the perception around me is "blurred" to make it harder to connect my Spirit image to my Human image, it’s not impossible.
"Hello, what's your name... and have we met before?" I say from where I am to Origami, while keeping a smile on my face.
"Tobiichi Origami... I don't think we've met before..." What intuition. But it seems she's not able to connect me to a Spirit. When it comes to Shido,
I don’t have that concern. He’s so dense that I doubt he would notice even if I put a picture beside me showing me as a Spirit.
I mentally laugh at this observation while responding to Origami.
"I see. Well, I hope we can be great classmates, Tobiichi-san." I say, turning my attention back to Shido. Just as I’m about to speak to him,
the bell rings, signaling that classes are about to start.
I notice Tamae entering the room, closing the door abruptly while slamming her materials on her desk. From her reaction,
I can clearly tell it's relationship issues. After all, she's usually calm and shy.
"Haha," I let out a small laugh at the situation. Luckily, no one noticed. She begins her talk about couples and everything else while starting the class.
I don't think any of this is relevant to my future and decide to spend the entire period until lunch thinking about how I can destroy this world.
There are three people who can help me with this mission.
The Original Spirit, Isaac Westcott, and Shido Itsuka. These three are the most influential beings I can think of. Tokisaki Kurumi could also be,
but she’s less relevant than these three and also someone problematic to deal with.
The Original Spirit, unfortunately, can’t help me because I don't even know where he is, and I’m not in the mood to go on a blind search for him.
Even Kurumi couldn’t find him, and she even asked Nia Honjo for help, which wasn’t much help, even with the Angel
Isaac Westcott would also be difficult. I don't know his real objective, and I have no way to approach him as a normal human,
which makes any progress in making him my ally difficult.
That leaves Shido. As the protagonist, his morality is a real nuisance, throwing himself into danger for others while having a Hero Syndrome
and trying to help those who didn’t even ask for help.
However, I can approach him as a human; I just need to get into his head somehow.
But how would I do that... While I think about it, the bell rings, signaling lunch.
"Shido-san, would you like to have lunch with me?" I ask him with an inviting voice.
If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen from Royal Road. Please report it.
"Sure, Aurelio-san, let's go." I get up and head to the cafeteria, talking with Shido. I notice Origami is following Shido.
“Seriously, how do you not notice this? Are you a rock or something?” I think while ignoring Origami following.
We get to the cafeteria, and I buy our lunch since I invited him, I decide to pay. He tries to pay, and we have this useless exchange of words.
“Don’t worry, Shido-san, I invited you.”
“Just accept it, okay? I won’t take no for an answer,” I say, half-joking, half-serious. “Ugh, this is getting annoying, just accept it already,”
I think while, in reality, showing the most genuine smile I can manage.
He finally accepts, and we sit in the cafeteria. Origami sits at the table behind us, still looking at Shido.
I’ve given up trying to understand how this blockhead named Shido doesn’t notice this. Seriously, how insensitive do you have to be not to notice that?
We finish our lunch and return to the classroom. After a few minutes, the bell rings, signaling the start of the next classes.
I go back to my thoughts while I write everything from the board in my notebook. After all, I need to maintain the image of a good student.
So, to anyone watching from the outside, I'm a totally focused student, while in reality...
While I think about what I can do with Shido, a brilliant idea that the Goddess herself said was possible during our brief conversation comes to mind.
I put my hand in front of my mouth, mimicking the movement made when sneezing to hide the smile that appears on my face.
After all, I'm sure anyone who saw it would feel chills at how sinister this smile is.
My plan is to slowly use Reversal on Shido’s body, turning him into a girl while I brainwash him to help me.
With this, besides gaining one of the best allies, when the Reversal becomes permanent, I can use it on his power.
If I make him fall in love with me and reverse his power, instead of sealing it, he will release it and send
it to me, making me even stronger. Of course, I need to transform him slowly while changing his way of
thinking, so he becomes completely a girl by the end of the process.
For this, I can use perception change and words while I transform him slowly. So when he turns into a girl, it will be even easier to keep him under control.
I feel excited about the idea of breaking this harem protagonist's mind, and as a bonus, I can make him kill Origami.
Imagine her face when she's killed by the one she loves! "HAHAHAHAH" Just the thought makes me want to laugh.
Of course, while my mind is running at full speed with this plan and how to put it into action, in reality, I'm diligently copying the board's content.
No one would ever be able to tell the dark plans running through my mind.

"I know something is wrong, but where?" says a girl with short white hair. She has beautiful red eyes that create a lovely contrast with her white and red outfit.
She is Yuki Tsukuyomi, the daughter of the Moon God Tsukuyomi. She is half-god, half-spirit, with the spirit part inherited from her mother.
She is responsible for caring for the souls of various worlds. But right now, she’s in a difficult situation.
She has no evidence, but her instincts have always been far superior to those of her superiors in this job.
The soul she claimed was missing has reappeared, which led to it being simply filed as a mistake.
That should have been the end of it, but she felt something was off, so she went to check on the soul personally.
To her surprise, there was nothing there. Someone had tampered with the records and made this change.
Usually, the only ones who can do this without visiting the archive room are the Gods.
They generally take souls with a lot of positive Karma to be Heroes in other worlds or to be their followers when they come back to life.
For most races, Karma value is of no use. However, this situation changes for those who know how to use it and for the Gods.
If a God has a follower with a lot of Karma, they tend to become stronger. But Gods avoid such contracts for a simple reason.
It cannot be broken. If the soul now bound to the God starts accumulating opposite Karma to what it had, the God with this
contract will start to weaken, possibly even falling from their divine position.
That’s why such soul contracts are avoided, and these souls are just revived. After all, making this contract is almost like a gamble.
But this problem isn’t only for the God in question because Karma can be exchanged for abilities and more power.
When this is done, the Karma does not disappear; it still exists within the ability, but it becomes impossible to detect.
Along with that, the soul that made the contract can no longer be detected, even by the Gods. The only one who can find it is the God who made the contract.
Now, even a soul with an enormous amount of Negative Karma has disappeared, and its record has been altered, but Yuki cannot prove this.
Since the record now shows that the soul was destroyed, which is false. But since it was changed by a God, it is now the "Truth" for everyone.
Yuki heard from her father how various worlds have been destroyed by souls with very high Negative Karma. They are a threat to all life,
some even becoming capable of killing Gods.
These were stories that ended in terrifying ways, to the point where just remembering them gives chills, not just because they were scary
stories but because they were real. These are things that really happened.
If she doesn't resolve this, it’s unknown what might happen, after all, the missing soul had a tremendous amount of Karma.
Karma doesn’t work through numbers, so regardless of one's actions, it will only move to another category when an achievement of that level is made.
Even if someone helps people their entire life, their Karma will never reach the level of someone who saved a planet, even if they had eternal life.
To advance to this category, it is mandatory to do something of the same level in one go. Simply accumulating Karma will not raise your category.
At most, accumulating Karma will increase strength. The abilities you can have through Karma depend on the Karma category you are in.
Positive Karma and Negative Karma are essentially the same, the only difference is the way they are obtained.
For a soul that was an Enemy of Humanity, to reach such Karma, one must have a significant part in the end of a Race.
"I don't know which God took this soul, nor do I have any way of finding out since there are countless Gods and Worlds... a soul like this
could even become a God killer," Yuki, who is very kind and just, decides she needs to find this soul somehow.
She knows it will be difficult, but she believes nothing is impossible and that she can find this person before they become a threat.
"I can't get help from any of the Gods, and my lazy colleagues will just ignore this without believing me. I need to do this alone."
With her renewed determination, she, who has positive Karma at the level of Saving a Race, heads to her room to arrange
for someone to substitute her at work for a while.
Taking everything she believes is necessary, she grabs her communicator and calls a friend.
"Who’s speaking?" says the voice through the communication artifact.
"Hi, it's me, Yuki. I need a favor."
"Yuki, it's been a while. Tell me what you need. You know I owe you one, and just say the word and I'll do it," he says with an enthusiastic voice.
"It’s nothing too serious," I lie to him. Even though he’s my friend, this isn’t his area, and if he tries to come with me to find this soul,
he might end up in trouble.
"I... need you to cover for me at the administration for a while," I say hesitantly.
"You’re not going to do anything dangerous, are you?" he asks with a questioning tone.
"No, of course not. I just need to rest a bit, so I’m going to take a vacation."
"Well, that makes sense. You’ve never taken a vacation since you started this job. You must be exhausted... Alright, I’m on my way.
You can go with peace of mind; I’ll take care of everything," he says in a reassuring tone as I hang up the device.
"Sorry," I say apologizing to the empty room for lying to my friend.
"But it’s necessary. I don’t want you or anyone else to get into trouble because of me."
I look at the ceiling for a moment to calm my mind. After a few minutes, I grab my things and leave the room to head out.
Even though I don’t know which world he’s in, I can at least speculate where he might be.
"If a God took the soul and revived it, they must have placed it in a world with low or no supervision," I reason to myself.
This fact alone provides a starting point for the search.
"I’ll find you and bring you back," I say, affirming my determination as I leave.
