The bracelet was the key to a seal that was placed upon my mind, it’s purpose was to seal a specific amount of memories within my mind. These memories where those of my past life, not as a tree, but as a human in a world without magic.
Now the planet I was on previously was called Earth and on that planet there where no elves, fairies, vampires, werewolves, sprites, spirits and other such magical creatures and due to this the humans where the top of the food chain and had dominated the planet.
After processing and organising my thoughts and memories I had decided to get some fresh air so I slowly stood up attempting to get used to the extra weight upon my head and back added by my wings and horns. It was a bit strange trying to walk with robes and heavy wings dragging across the floor behind my back.
Once I pushed open the two large doors of this shrine what surrounded me was a large forest full of greenery and birds and other forms of greenery. I stepped out of the building and the fresh air rushed against my face filling me with a refreshing feeling.

I peered back at my wings and a sudden thought flooded my mind and a large grin was painted across my face and so I walked out of the fence-like structure surrounding the shrine and from my observation I inferred that this fence thing was probably magic considering once I left the border it felt as if I was passing through a bubble.
I left the shrine courtyard and went towards a large tree, I felt as if I had a connection to the plants themselves and once I stroked the tree bark I felt an intimate connection with nature itself and so I attempted to climb this large tree and as I climbed I didn’t take into consideration the extra weight upon my back and the shift this would have in my balance and so I fell backwards but the strange thing was that a beach from the tree, caught me?
Anyway ignoring this strange phenomena I climbed to the top of the tree and stretched my wings, attempting to get used to theses extra limbs and it felt almost natural to use them and I could instinctually feel how to fly. So I opened my wings and let me tell you they are HUGE. Anyway I decided to trust my instincts for once and with my wings spread out I jumped from the tree.
I glided and flapped my wings and flying over the trees was a beautiful sight. I flew for a while and a few surprising pieces of information had been delivered to me. First, my shrine was in the very middle of the forest and secondly, surrounding this forest was a sort of meadow which is where a human kingdom lays. Now let me tell you humans are nasty, vile creatures. I was just flying about and they started to shoot fire covered arrows at me.
Now after dodging a dozen or so arrows my wings began to ache as I was not used to exerting my wings like this. Anyway as I flew towards the forest I landed near a pond but as I flew my large wings created huge gusts of wind which pushed back a few … fairies?
