Well you might say it's weird but I always need some special snacks before I watch my favorite show. After all, I've been waiting the whole week for this episode, I must watch it with full preparation.

So I took my wallet, wore my jacket and went outside to buy some of my favorite snacks.

As soon as I left my house, somehow I saw the world in a new perspective today. The street which I walk on everyday looks like a New place. I don't usually come out during the night but when I do, I am always fascinated by how pretty this street looks, the glowing Streetlamps, the colorful lights from the various shops and the swarms of people walking towards their destination.

Sometimes I feel sorry for these people, for they fail to see the immense beauty which lies within the night.

Well, I was the same until yesterday but who knows why I was feeling different today.

I didn't have much work to do today, Maybe that's why I could enjoy my surroundings.

Anyways, These people around me are either too busy with their Smartphones or getting lovey with their partners

(Not like I am complaining though).

I started walking with the flow of these people, as if I was a tiny ant in a Huge colony.

While I was looking at the expensive watches, pretty clothes and mouth watering food in those shops, something caught my eye.

Among the swarms of people marching ahead

I saw something small, Something tiny among these unconscious people...

A Little girl, crying. She was facing the other side. I couldn't see her face but her tiny frail body along with her dark brown hair were clearly visible even among these thousands of lights

“ How could these people turn a blind eye towards this little crying girl? ” I thought to myself as I crept towards the girl, pushing through the crowd.

As I was coming closer, her crying became more and more audible, as If I've heard it somewhere.Through Someone. Someone Familiar...

As soon as this thought came to my mind it became numb for a split second, adrenaline rushed through my veins. I started pushing through the crowd like a Madman walking towards the girl.

As soon as I reach, I stood behind her in silence. She was still crying, words refused to come out of my mouth. I started shaking the girl by her shoulder which increased gradually. After a while I was shaking her shoulder vigorously but she did not stop crying.

Her crying gradually felt like stinging pain to my ears. I stopped shaking her and decided to look at her face. My heart started beating like crazy; It felt as if I was going to go mad.

I took a deep breath, bent down and proceeded to look at the girl.

“My eyes crept just outside her face. Light flashed my eyes and I felt them burn. I pressed my eyes with my hands as I yelled.

"It hurts, it hurts!"

After a few seconds of immense pain, light started coming back into my eyes, with the pain now gone I could now focus on my surroundings.

I could feel nothing around me.

I should be on a crowded street, yet there is no sound, no one around, it felt like I was all alone!

“ Is anyone there! Where did everyone go? ”

I cried in fear.

It was the same street, same lights, same shops, the only difference being that I was the only person there.

I was terrified, it was as if some defense mechanism started. I tried to remain calm but my feet started trembling. I tried to run, but I was stuck in my place.

No it wasn't due to fear, I was trying to move my legs but it felt as if they were trapped in concrete.

I was scared, so scared that I was about to cry.

I thought some ghost was conjuring me or something.

“ Help! Help me! I can't move ”

At this point I was so scared that I was about to pass out. I went outside just to buy some snacks. Why was this happening to me?

It was then that I felt some kind of presence behind me.

“ Who's there? ”, I screamed in a cracked voice.

A huge ball of light came in front of me…

It was just a ball of light, its intensity kept increasing and decreasing. It looked like a round flickering candlelight. After floating in front of me for a few seconds in silence, It started showering rays of light through my body as if it was scanning me.

"Initiation complete. Body scan acquired. Required Individual found. Beginning transfer process."

“Wha- what is happening? ” I exclaimed in confusion

Suddenly the white light started enveloping me.

My body started becoming transparent, my eyes were getting drowsy and I couldn't think properly anymore.

“ Who are you? What is happening to me? What transfer process are you talking abo- ”

I tried questioning the ball of light as my mind went numb.

I was losing consciousness. It was as if my body was Fading away…

“ No! I don't wanna die.”

“ Help! Please, Somebody.. Somebody help me..”, I cried.

But these faint words were the last This World heard from me…
