A small desert town is roaring with life and vigor. The local inn is bustling with all types of characters and all-around town, everyone is enjoying themselves conversing, boasting loudly of what they accomplished today and what they plan to accomplish tomorrow as well as laughing with one another. In one of the many taverns however, a problem is brewing. An altercation between a group of guards and a group of individuals who are regular troublemakers in this town has spilled out onto the streets of this otherwise happy and upbeat town. Before long, the group of 3 troublemakers, Nelz, Ubel and Ella were thrown out of the tavern right as a young man was passing by, stopping him from passing.

"WE DIDN'T WANT TO BE HERE ANYWAY! TO HELL WITH THE LOT OF YA!' " Ubel yelled.

The patrons of the tavern paid them little mind, laughing at them and buying the guards who did the deed another round of drinks. This angered Ubel who was about to storm back into the tavern but was stopped by Ella and Nelz.

"Calm down you drunk idiot, let's hurry back before the storm rolls in." Nelz said.

"Honestly, this is why I hate teaming up with you two, always getting in trouble, " Ella said.

Ubel grits his teeth before smacking their hands away from him and mocks them. A childish remark which Nelz pays no mind to, but Ella, annoyed, swings in an attempt to slap Ubel. Expecting this for what he just did, Ubel manages to slip under the slap and the slap directed at him lands on the face of the young man who was just trying to ease himself by them. Although rather unfazed by the slap, Nelz and Ella look at the young man shocked, and quickly begin to apologize, while Ubel laughs. Nelz silences Ubel before letting the hooded young man pass. The young man bows and walks right by them. Around this time, the guards who had previously thrown the three out were exiting the tavern and noticed the three arguing and disturbing the people around them, so they once again chased them away before returning to petrol the town. After being chased around the three decide to call it a day and return from where they came from. While leaving the inn where they had their belongings, they ran into the young man again. He stood there with a compass in hand and seemed to be staring into sky. They approached him and Ella got a glimpse of the face under his hoodie before he reeled back and stepped away from them.

"What's someone like you doing all the way out here? " Ella said.

"Someone like me? " The young man responded.

Ubel and Nelz looked at the young man and then looked at Ella, asking her what she could mean by that.

" 's cute, " she said "And I don't know if you noticed, but you two are the equivalent of a horse and a donkey," she added. "t's a welcome change of pace"

After receiving a slap on the back of head from Nelz he then reminded her that they would need to head off soon if they wanted any chance of beating the storm. Ella protested saying that they should take the kid with him. Ubel and Nelz both disagreed before starting to walk towards the gate and out of the town. Ella waved bye and then followed after. The young man simply stared at them before letting out a large sigh and disappearing shortly after. Shortly after leaving the town, Ubel, Nelz and Ella spread their wings and set off to their destination. The young man comes out of his hiding spot behind a nearby building a little while after Ubel, Nelz and Ella set off.

"That should be enough time... but now... Will I be able to make it in time..." he said before walking into the desert. Before he could get too far a guard stops him.

"Are you new around here?" he asks. "There's a massive storm rolling in! You best stay here."

"Ah, ill be fine." the young man says. Before the guard could say another thing, he disappeared.

Nelz and Ubel are arguing while flying through the air but Ella stops the argument by telling them they should be ready for a fight instead of bickering at each other.

" ya' think we'll run into any demons on the way, I've been itching for a good fight yanno" Ubel said.

" Maybe you should've fought that kid," Nelz said, " He looked like he could take a hit.

" It'd be a slaughter," Ubel responded with a dirty grin on his face.

After that, Nelz and Ubel once again start to bicker back and forth. This was until Ella turned around to yell at them and noticed that there was someone else in the desert behind them. At that she noticed instead of flying they were running. Nelz decided to get closer to the person and see what's going on. As they got closer, they recognized the figure they seen. It was the young man from before. Nelz was about to tell them to disregard the young man and carry on but before he could get the words out, Ubel rushed toward him.

"YOU DAMNED IDIOT I WAS JOKING" Nelz yelled.

Ubel seemingly collided with the man and a dust cloud was created. Since their view was obscured, Nelz and Ella decided to hurry and grab Ubel before the storm gets any closer. Once they touch down, they yell out to Ubel asking him to respond but all they hear is a faint grunting, before long the dust settles, and they see Ubel on the ground and the young man holding his arm behind his back. For the first time, Nelz got a look at the young man's face. He looked like a mercenary. Scars on his arms and even some on his face. He also had a scarf over one eye, it looked like he'd been through a lot even though he was so young.

"Hey, weren't you the same guy she hit at the bar? and we ran into you at the gate before we left," Nelz asked.

However, the young man didn't reply, he only looked down at Ubel and let go of his arm. He started to walk away from them, but Ubel gets back up and charges back in, only for him to end up in the same position he was in before. This time, instead of simply walking away, he launched Ubel over to Nelz with ｢Wind Magic｣.

"Animals like that need to know their place" he says.

"I'LL KILL YOU" Ubel yells.

"SHUT UP UBEL" Nelz yelled back.

Ubel paused and Nelz stood in front of both Ella and Ubel.

"How about we just go our separate says? There is a storm getting closer and closer as we speak after—"

Before another world could be said, Ubel charged in again this time with his weapon drawn. However, he was once again being taken down and put into another arm lock. This time he is visibly in pain. While Ella was laughing at Ubel, Nelz could do nothing but let out a sigh.

Nelz attempted to once again reason with him, noting that at this point it's too late for either of them to get out of the desert before the storm reaches. The young man acknowledges this fact and eases up on Ubel slightly. And once he does, Ella blitzes past Nelz and kicks the young man into the lone tree in the desert.

"ELLA WHAT THEY HELL!" Nelz yells.

Ella simply looks at him and smirks. Ubel gets up off the ground and starts yelling at the man to get up and Nelz is conflicted as to what to do at this point. The man however is once again for better or for worse perfectly fine it seems. He gets up and cracks his neck and starts walking towards Ella and Ubel.

"How do you get anything done with these two around." he says.

Before Nelz could say anything else, Ella and Ubel both rush in together. Ella is blasted back using ｢Wind Magic｣ and Ubel is knocked out by a single strike to the jaw. Ella once again charges in and is once again blown away. Before she could get up this time however the man stood over her, whispered something to her and then knocked her out. He then picks Ella up and points to Ubel and gestures to Nelz to pick him up and follow him. Nelz does so and he leads them to a cave. Once they arrive, the young man lay Ella down and Nelz drops Ubel. As the man stretches Nelz begins to ask him a question but before he could get the words out the man speaks.

"They're going to be out for a while... That tree that she kicked me into is generally speaking a good marker for being near the middle of the desert, which also means we are near the border. With that being said, you should take care of them here and leave during the day. The demons around here love to patrol at night, for obvious reasons." he explained

"...and what are you going to do?" Nelz asked.

"Try to get to where I need to be... I have some things to take care of" he responded.

Before Nelz could ask anything else, the young man took some supplies out of his bag place gave them to Nelz and left the cave without saying another word. Nelz guessed this wouldn't be the last time they would be seeing him.

As the young man started his travels through the desert, he took out his compass to check which direction he was headed in, and it was broken. He looks at it for a while before tossing it directly into the ground as hard as he can. He spends the rest of the day and night walking through the desert in order to get to what he hopes is his destination. The dawn of a new day rises and there the man stands in front of another town gate. He lets out a big sigh before messing around with his scarf and heading into the town. As he takes off his hood and greets the guards, he whispers to himself that he needs to get better with directions. With that, he walks around the town, very cautiously. While walking around, he asks a few humans who he sees wandering the town at this early hour where he could find some lodging. They point him to an inn, but before he can get to the inn, he is drawn to a tavern that isn't too far. He sits down and has a few drinks. Not too long after some commotion is heard coming from outside and seems to be getting louder and louder, but he pays no mind and continues drinking. Up until the commotion he heard spills into the tavern. He takes a peek over to see who causing the commotion and what exactly is going on and once he does, he notices a trio of people walking through the tavern's doors. A loud trio... surely this isn't....

"UBEL WOULD YOU PLEASE SHUT THE HELL UP" Ella yells.

Once he heard that name, he smashes his head onto the table. The sever who was nearby asks him if he's alright but instead of answering he simply hands him a bag of coins. Being the only one with any real reaction to the group, they take notice of him and move over to him. As they surround him, the tavern simmers down a little.

"Hey, what's someone like you doing her—" Ubel said while firmly grasping the man's shoulder. "You know we—" Ubel began to say before he was promptly elbowed in the gut, falling to his knees.

"Uhm sir, you shouldn't be— " the server began to say but, Ella cut her off saying "Oi, we're on the sam—" before she could finish her sentence, he shoved the drink he was having into her mouth.

The man stood up and looked at Nelz who made way for him to pass. As he started heading out, he brushed by two guards as he did, he noticed they weren't regular human guards but demon guards. The guards quickly tried to grab him but were pushed aside by Ubel and Ella who recovered and Nelz followed after them. The guards, who are now on the floor yell, HALT THIS BEHAVIOR, but are disregarded by Ubel and Ella who tell them to shove it and give chase to the young man. The chase after the young man is going in his favor, he's gaining more and more distance from Ubel, Ella and Nelz. This is until he suddenly stops, and two fireballs come whistling past him, coming in contact with the ground before causing a small explosion. Dust and smoke are kicked up into the air, Nelz, Ubel and Ella all arrive at the scene to see the two demon guards who they previously brushed aside slowly coming down from the sky.

"If you know what's best for you, you should stand down, " said one of the guards.

The young man lunges from the smoke, kicking one of the guards in the face and blowing the other one away with a gust of wind. While one of the guards is now unconscious, the other yells out and fires a purple fireball into the air, soon after many guards surround the young man. Nelz, Ubel and Ella only stood and watched as the young man dismantled the guards before taking off again.

" Seriously... Just who is that kid..." said Nelz before they once again gave chase.

Everywhere they ran guards appeared and cut them off. Eventually the young man headed to the gates, and in front of the gates, guards were there waiting. A blockade stood between the young man and escaping the guards and Nelz's crew. The young man firmly stomped on the ground before leaping far up into the air. As if he was putting on a dramatic show, he tossed and turned in the air before landing softly on a horse that belonged to one of the guards presents. Both the guards and Nelz's crew were surprised by the stunt but while the guards were frozen in place, not knowing what to do, Ubel and Ella rushed past them attempting to attack the young man. Before they could, he took off on the horse. Ubel grits his teeth and just before he could spread his wings, Nelz reminds him where they are and they instead take the other horses around them and flee the town, chasing after the young man. The guards give up the chase and simply watch as the 4 assailants ride off with their horses.

The young man has quite the lead on his pursuers, so much so that the once desert scenery around him is steadily changing into that of a thick forest. So, he decides to take a detour. He hops off the horse and starts surveying the surrounding area. Not too long after he dismounted the horse, it hurried off, it seemed to be spooked by something. Now on foot, the young man decided to stick close beside the trail but to walk along the trees to stay out of the immediate view of any passersby. A few days of traveling go by before he reaches the next town. A rather large town that he has been to before, Hythe. He fiddles around with his scarf once again and takes off his hood before going into the town. Once he enters the town he looks around and sees two familiar faces, two humans he met long ago. Ciara and Amar. Once Ciara spots him she informs Amar and they both run towards him. Once they get close, they open their mouths with he covers immediately. They looked confused by this, the young man looks around and points them to a nearby alleyway. Once they get there, Ciara hops on the young man's back.

"KURI! I thought I wouldn't see you again!" she said.

Amar walks up and lightly jabs the young man's, Kuri, shoulder. "Yeah man, why haven't you come back to the village lately?" Amar asked.

"As much as I love seeing you guys, isn't it a bit dangerous for you two to be this far away from the village, I mean I get you guys are as old as I am but where is your supervision." Kuri said.

Ciara hops off Kuri's back and Amar points to a man standing behind Kuri. He slowly turns around seeing a tall man standing behind him.

"YOU HAVEN'T SEEN US IN HOW LONG AND THIS IS HOW YOU TREAT US?!"

Kuri could do nothing to escape the grasp the man, named Ten, had put him in. Ten is the village chief where Ciara and Amar come from, he is also some Kuri helped not too long ago.

"OI YOU BIG OAF, CUT THAT OUT" yelled Kuri

As Ten let Kuri go, he said, "I'm just gonna assume you've been causing more trouble"

"As usual," Kuri said proudly as he fixed his hair, "please tell me she's not with you as well"

"Of course not, but once we get back, we'll be sure to tell her you asked about her" he replied.

Kuri let out a sigh before regaining his composure. Amar and Ciara egged him on about telling them what he's been up to lately, he obliges and tells him about his run in with the trio of idiots as he calls them now. After he finished his story, he told Ten to take them home and he also promised that he'd stop by soon.

"Are you sure? After all the times you said you'd be back, we weren't sure we'd see you at all again." Amar said.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know, but this time I promise, there's somethings I need to do and the only place I can take care of things if over there. So, this time, trust me when I say I'll be back by years end" Kuri replied. "Until then" he continued as he put back on his hood, "stay safe and if you see me again while you're here, act like you don't know me." he said with a stern face.

The three nodded and before he parted ways with them, he gave them a big smile. Kuri left the ally by jumping atop the roofs and scoping out the town. Once he found what he was looking for he hopped down and started walking towards it. As he walked towards his destination, he reveled in how little this place has changed since he last was here. Before long, he was outside a smithy. He walks up to the door, and he hesitates on knocking, pausing for a second before kicking the door off its hinges. Soon, after hearing the door being knocked off the hinges, a very intimidating man walks from the back of the smithy with a large axe to greet Kuri. Once the man realizes who it is, they both let out a snicker.

"You're back already?" he said "What's the occasion? Am I dying soon?" the man said.

"HA! If I threw a boulder at you, the boulder would break!" Kuri said while laughing. "I'm here for 2 blades, make them your finest works!"

Kuri tossed the man his bag. The man sifts through the bag, looking back from the back and up to Kuri multiple times.

"Can you do it" Kuri says with a smile.

The man pauses, "You know very well you can do this yourself, why trust me with this" the man asked with a smile on his face.

"Because who's better than the one and only Dragon Forger himself?!" Kuri replies.

The Blacksmith lets out a hearty laugh. "Flattery won't get you a discount kid"

Kuri left the smithy smiling ear to ear. He decided he'd spend some time wandering around the town. This time he wanted to spend wandering around town, however, was cut short when he seen the trio enter town. He noticed they were greeted into the town by another group. He watched from a distance as they exchanged a few words before heading into a nearby shop. Once they were inside, he slipped outside of the town gates. He looked around briefly to check if anyone was following him before dashing into the woods. He climbed to the top of a tree and looked for a marker he placed. Once he spotted it, he leapt out of the tree toward it. Soon after, he arrived at a large crater, in it was a massive tree and a lake beside it. He hopped into the carter and headed toward the tree. Once he arrived at the tree, you could notice the doors and several things attached to it. This is where Kuri would stay when he was in Hythe. He opened the door and let out a large exhale. Infront of him was a partially furnished... tree... interior. He took off the hood and scarf he had been wearing for days on end and placed them on the back of a chair before sitting on it. He looked up at the ceiling and just sat there for some time. Before long he placed his head on the table in front of him and soon after falling asleep. He awoke the next day from the sound of his stomach growling. He stays still for a little while until his stomach growls again, then he slams his hands on the table and stands up and look in the cabinets all around this place. The very last cabinet he searches has only rotted berries and a note, signed by him saying "GET MORE FOOD". He sighs before taking out the berries and grabbing a basket along with his belt and a small blade. He stretches before finding his way outside of the crater and into the surrounding woods. He knew that he would be relatively safe to wander around because this place was a fair distance away from Hythe. As he walked around, he picked berries and set traps for small animals. While setting one of the traps, he hears a noise and ascends to one of the nearby trees to take cover. A few minutes goes by of the rummaging noise continuing to get louder and louder. Until some voices break the silence.

" Are we absolutely positive that he went in this direction? Shouldn't we have found SOMETHING by now " someone said.

" Maybe if you stopped complaining, and use your eyes, we could find some markings or something, " said another.

" Hearing you two bicker makes me wonder how Nelz puts up with it. " said another.

" Honestly, being a squad leader with those two must be torture," said another

" Guys, if you don't shut up, I'm docking all of your pay " said one more

Kuri quietly let out a sigh, he was familiar with the first 2 voices that spoke, Ella and Ubel were once again hot on his trail. However, this time around there are more people with them and judging by the conversation they just had Nelz somewhere around here as well. And just as he thought it couldn't get any worse. The voice of reason appeared.

" Ella, Ubel, you guys wanted to find him so stop complaining and bickering at each other, you have been at it since we left. " Said Nelz

" Nelz, honestly, why stick around these two? " Said one of the new voices.

" Because Au, while they can be quite troublesome, they are somewhat strong. " Said Nelz

"Stronger than Yomi and Kachi? While I have respect for you, those two... "I can't imagine what you see in them, " said Au.

" Want to say that again, short stuff?! " Ubel yelled.

As they argued, Nelz tried to diffuse the situation, Kuri took this time to get out the tree. As he was about to make his leave, he heard something else from one of the members.

" I mean seriously, what could one measly boy do you us... did you really need to drag us along Nelz " Yomi said.

This seemed to rub Kuri the wrong way. Instead of leaving he grabbed a berry out of his basket and chucked it at the back of one of their heads. Since Ella was standing behind Yomi, she looked back because the berry flew from behind her as well. However, Yomi thought that Ella had thrown the berry at his head because of what he said. And so those two started to argue. While all the attention was on them, Au, who is the second in command of the search party, moved past Ubel in an attempt to break up the fight that was about to take place. Kuri quickly moved and launched another berry at the Au's head. Once contact had happened Au turned around and instantly lunged at Ubel. This shocked Nelz and Kachi who were both trying to calm down Ella and Yomi they turned to try and get Au off of Ubel but as soon as they turned, they were met with multiple berries in their face. Everyone paused. With Kachi and Nelz both covered in berries at the same time, they all looked at each other and wondered who could've done it. And soon they would hear the culprit. Kuri let out a laugh that echoed in the forest, seeing them argue with each other over something so petty and then seeing the face that Kachi and Nelz made once they were covered was too much for him. Since his laughter echoed through the forest, once they got cleaned up they went back into formation, they got back-to-back before yelling for him to reveal himself. After wiping a tear from his eye, the laughter died down.

" COME OUT YOU COWARD " yelled Ubel.

" YOU THINK WHAT YOU DID WAS FUNNY? YOU DAMNED BASTARD " yelled Au.

" WHEN I FIND YOU, I'M GONNA TEAR YOU TO SHREDS " Au and Ubel yelled together in unison.

They both hopped from the group and dashed in different directions looking for Kuri who had long stopped laughing at this point. Ella and Yomi soon followed after them, but not before Nelz and Kachi both tried to talk them out of it respectively. Nelz and Kachi both let out a sigh simultaneously, they agreed that they should follow after they're groups and speed up the search for the boy, but before they could split up, Kuri appeared behind them, yawning and walking past them.

"Is that him..." Kachi asked.

"Yes... yes, it is..." Nelz said.

Kachi started to lunge toward him to capture him, but Nelz stopped her and old her it was futile.

"So exactly are you here for? To fight, kill, or just find me?" Kuri asked.

Nelz and Kachi stay silent.

"Fine" he says as he points at Nelz, "Nelz, what do Ubel and Ella want with me?"

"Ella wants a rematch and wants to recruit you; Ubel wants to kill you" he replies.

"Hmm..." Kuri says.

After that, he simply walks out of their line of sight. Kachi tries to go after him, but Nelz once again tells her it's not worth it. Soon after he walks away, Ubel, Au, Ella and Yomi all come back and start yelling at each other for not being able to find Kuri.

"I'VE HAD ENOUGH" Au yelled.

"Oi" Kuri said as he appeared behind Au.

Everyone was stunned.

"I know you're upset and all but burning down the whole forest isn't smart" Kuri said.

Au swipes at him with her sword and she misses. Kuri goes back into hiding.

"STOP HIDING YOU COWARD" yelled Ubel.

"COME BACK AND FIGHT ME!" yelled Au.

"You two loudmouths need to shut up before you wake up the elemental around here" he said.

Ubel and Au pay him not mind and continue yelling. Kuri then starts to pelt them with berries, moving around them as to not allow them to get a chance to launch an attack back. While amusing at first, Au and Ubel continue to yell. Suddenly, the ground started to shake violently. The shaking stopped quickly but it was followed by strong winds blowing through the forest. Kuri comes out of hiding and faces the direction the wind is blowing towards with his back to the group.

"FINALLY SHOWING YOURSELF?!" Ubel yelled.

"...duck" Kuri said in response.

Ubel, Au and Yomi disregarded his words and charged at him. Nelz, Ella and Kachi heeded them and got onto the ground. Before Ubel, Au or Yomi could even lay a finger on Kuri, they were all blown away from an outburst of wind coming from the direction Kuri was facing. Once the wind had ceased, Nelz got up and yelled out and started to look around to see where they went but no one was responding. Once he turned back to Kuri, he saw a giant stone floating in the air with engravings. The Stone began to be surround by a violent torrent of wind and Kuri was just standing in front of it.

"KID I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOUR PLAN IS, BUT THAT THING IS GOING TO TEAR YOU TO SHREDS!" Nelz said.

Kuri didn't pay him not mind. He kept his eyes on the elemental and then suddenly jumped up into the air. Once he did, the area where he was standing was slashed by winds. Kuri began dodging as more and more of the surrounding area seemingly was just destroyed at random. Soon enough a clearing was made, and Kuri landed in front of the remaining group of people. He cast ｢Wind Barrier｣ around them before coating his own hand with ｢Wind Magic｣ and jumping straight towards the Wind Elemental's core. While sustaining a few cuts, he managed to break through the green wind around the core and shatter the stone into pieces. Without even a second to waste, Kuri began to pick up the pieces of core and toss them in different directions. Once that was done, he sat down and let out a sigh while looking into the sky. Nelz looked at Kuri with amazement. Not only was he able to handle an Elemental by himself, but he also knew how to deal with the core as to not let it reform. Just who was this kid! Soon after everything was handled, Ubel, Au and Yomi came back to Nelz, Ella and Kachi just standing watching Kuri sit in the middle of the clearing. Before Au and Ubel could yell again, Nelz began to speak.

"We're leaving. End of Story" he said.

"SO—" Ubel began before he was shushed by Ella and Kachi. "So... we're just going to let that bastard get away with what he did?!"

"For once I agree with Ubel! We came all this way and now look at him he's picking berries again!" Au joins in.

As they all turn around, Kuri is now casually picking berries that were now exposed due to the elemental's outburst.

"If you really have any objections to what I have to say, take it up with him... we'll make sure to give you a nice burial after the fact" Nelz said as he, Ella and Kachi began to walk past the other three.

Au, Ubel and Yomi all grabbed their weapons. Kuri shoots his head up which startles then a little.

"You're gonna fight us here and now" Ubel yelled out.

Kuri, defeated at this point, just cracked his wrist and turn to face them with one eye closed. He gestured to them to come at him and soon after they charged him, they were on the ground defeated. He went back to picking berries but then his stomach grumbled, he decided to call it a day and to start heading back, hoping at least some of his traps didn't get broken by what just happened. On his way back, he came across a lone boar, thankfully, it was nearby the crater, so he killed it and brought it back to cook and eat. At this time, the day was coming to an end, moonlight peaked its way through the leaves of the massive tree he made his home. He gathered some firewood and started to take in the scenery, getting a little too lost in it until the smell of burning bore meat snapped him back to his senses. Kuri would continue the cycle of hunting and gathering food for several months until the first snows of winter rolled in. Around this time, he decided to check in on the blacksmith, he dawned his usual attire of a scarf covering his face, hood and made his way through town. While on his way to the smithy he noticed how the people of the town had already started dawning thicker clothing and he thought to himself maybe he should pick up some himself. He arrived at the smithy, and instead of kicking open the door, he quietly opened it this time. Tools were strewed about, and when he called out for the blacksmith, he got no reply. He went to the back of the shop where the furnace was and seen the blacksmith on the ground sleep. Kuri smiled, but then lit a small flame atop his finger and placed it under the blacksmiths butt. The man jumped up out of his sleep, screaming so loud many of the neighboring shop owners came to check on him. After dismissing them and closing the door behind them, he went back to the rear of the shop and started to speak to Kuri.

"These took forever... It was a pain in the ass! But I have to say they are some of the best blades I've ever made!" the blacksmith said as he grabbed the weapons from a chest and handed them to Kuri.

Kuri looked at the swords, one shorter than the other both contained in nice sheaths. He took them out to insect them, one had red glint to it while the other had a deep purple glint.

"Yroil... Thank you... I'll make sure to take good care of them!" Kuri said.

"You better not die before I get to see you use them myself!" Yroil says as he lets out a hearty laugh.

The two laugh for a while before Kuri hands him the money and heads out of the shop. He hurried back to the carter, to grab a few things. Before he left, he wrote a note. Once he gathered his things, he made his way back into town. He made his way to a well-known tavern. There he seen a two familiar faces, Nelz and Au. Ignoring them, he went straight to a bartender and asked where the nearest human coachman was and once, he was given directions to the area where he could find them, he left a tip before walking up to Nelz and Au. He sits at their table and takes off his hood.

"So... how's the neck" he asks Au snarly.

She pays him not mind and downs the rest of her drink.

"What's your business here..." Nelz asked.

"Nothing much, just came to give you lot a parting gift, but it seems you two are alone so..." Kuri says as he pulls out a pouch from his bag "Take this, also try not to get yourself killed"

Nelz takes the pouch, "What's in here, also I never got your name"

Kuri stands up "I won't tell you now, but the next time we meet... if you don't know it then, I'll tell you"

As Kuri begins to leaves, he kicks the chair from underneath a bar patron and makes it seem like another had done the deed, causing a ruckus as he left. Nelz opens the bag to see several gold coins. Kuri then makes his way to the area he was instructed to go and sees a lone carriage. He walks towards it and sure enough a human was sitting in front waiting.

"Do you have a job already?" Kuri asks.

Startled the old man replies, "Ah, hello young man, I do indeed, but I'm worried that they have canceled or something of that sort"

Kuri smiles, "Well if you don't mind can you take me somewhere?" he asks.

He and the coachman talked for a while before Kuri revealed his desired location. Without another word they set off. Kuri next destination was Dulvine. Kuri takes in the sight of Hythe as they leave and as it leaves his line of sight he lays back in the carriage and fall asleep.
