Chapter Two:
My training began at dawn and ended when the night tide recessed. I spent most of my night’s meals by the docks, listening to the waves.

That was the adaptability I learned. One night in the water, a turtle took my finger. I was left marred by the hand. I had difficulties training, afterwards, but this was the perseverance I was blessed with. And it gave me more strength than I had before.
Someday in training, we're longer than others. Because the tide changes every day. On the longest of nights, my trainer would let me gaze at the stars. He spoke, of stars aligning when we would be set to go to war against an undead army. The stars would bless the world, with never ending life. Thus, raising what was long forgotten.
