Chapter-1:Goodbye

Note: For now, i will be making small chapters, because, im learning, to write with both of my hands, not just index fingers, and it is hard... But you can expect fast releases.

Doors, to my room slowly opened, with a silent creak, as if protesting a little, a small layer of dust, got raised up, a few centimeters, above the ground. Trough, that small gap, a small, golden ray of light fell on the floor. From, the light the room, was now seen a little more clearly. An old wooden desk, was near the left wall of the room, with a few antique paper books on it, there was an even older ink pen close, to it. Besides, the desk, there was just as old book shelf standing, filled, with books, and some new data crystals.

On the other side of the room, there was a mirror hanging,on the wall, with a gray colored metal wardrobe, standing close to it. A few small dumbells could be seen close, to it, they too were covered with a small layer of dust.

At the end of the room, on the wall, there were many posters, of big, muscular men, a few posters, of old, sports cars, a few posters, of girls, and one, big picture, of my family. Below, the posters, was my bed, with me, currently in it. I was sleeping peacefully, while, the doors, were slowly opening.

My mother slowly entered my room, and sat down, on, the side, of my bed.

“baby, it's time, to wake up” - she slowly woke me up.

“just five more minutes mom... please...” - a murmur, could, be heard, from me.

“alright, alright, but isnt, this, your, big, day? - She asks me in a gentle tone.

“it is...” I sigh, and start, to get up slowly.

Five minutes later, in the kitchen, my father, looks, at me, and smiles, while putting, his morning holo news away.

“Ha! Just look at our boy Naria! Already twenty one.- my father sighs, for a moment.- how fast you grew up, it is as if yesterday you were just a small boy... “

I smile, to, my father. Yeah, I have just turned, twenty one, with dark hair, gray-blue eyes, a little wide, and long nose, rather full cheeks, and a gentle smile, on, my face, at the height, of 176cm, with, a little, excess weight, I am, one, of those, guys, that you, would, call, just, above average.

“Time, really, does fly by honey...” My loving mother agrees, to, my father.

“Oh, come one, you two, lets, just, enjoy this day!” I say, to my parents.

A small sign, of sadness, almost instantly appears, on my parents faces, but, just, as fast, disappears.

“right, right, so, come on, eat, some breakfast, with, your, old man.”

I take a seat, behind, our round, family table. This table is, just, as old, as my father, and all, the other furniture in our kitchen. My grandfather made, all, of them, and, gave, them, as a present, to my grandmother, when, she returned, with, my father, from, the, hospital. You could, say, this, was, a heritage, of our family.

It, didnt, take long, to, finish, the breakfast.

After, the breakfast, I went outside, and began, to cut the grass, with a new generation, laser based grass cutting machine. After that, I had, some time still, so, I took, some of my old toys, and took them, to our neighbors, they, just, had, they first child.

While whistling, I went home, only, to find, a few, of my old friends, to have, came over.

“So Spike, how, much, longer, are you going, to make us wait?” Asks, one of my friends, Fim.

“Yep, I told, “Spike, the slow” really, fits him.” while laughing, another friend of mine – Ulrick, says.

“hmm, Spike, the slow, sounds good, so, where are we going m?” Asks the only female – Cecilia.

“Right, so mister, slow, care, to answer?” asks my muscle head cousin, while smiling – Kelp.

“kids, shouldnt talk like that!- I laugh, at them.- So, the whole gang is here?”

we spent, quite, some, time together, it soon, will, be, the time, for me to go. We talk about, these past years, about, our families, they also make jokes, about, me being, the oldest, and the smallest, just as always. Time, sure flies, when, you are in a good company, of your friends.

Just, a minute ago, I let the gang out, probably seeingm them, for, the last time. Cecilia, began, to cry on her way out, but didnt turn back. My heart was heavy, soon, I will, have, to leave everyone, leave behind, forever.

I was deep in my thoughts, when, my father came, he put his hand, on my shoulder, bringing me back, from my thoughts. I turned back, at him, he had, something, in his hands.

“take this son, this here, was passed, down in our family, for generations, from father, to his son. So, I want you, to have this.” he extends me a small ring.

For a moment I look at the ring, with curiosity, there are strange words written, on it.

“Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.- I read it out loud.- Thank you father.”

my father gives me a big hug, and I return it. Seconds later, a cars signal, can be heard. The time, has come. For a moment, my father, hugs me even more tightly, and then releases.

“good bye son.”

“Goodbye dad.”

and I exit, the house, in witch, I have spent, my whole childhood. Outside, there is a military bus already waiting. A few people look at it trough, their, windows.

“Move kid, we have, many more stops, to make! And there is little time! Move I said!” An angry marine shouts, at me.

A few minutes later, i am already in the bus, getting further away, from, my house.

“Goodbye...” Are, the last words, of mine, while leaving.
