Landen POV

I was walking down the street when I came across a new store, a young man was putting away a street sign into the new store, I call out to him in curiousity.

"Excuse me! What is this new store?"

The man turns around and appears to be a young man, still in his teens.

"Uh, If I had to describe it, I guess spirit animals."

"Spirit Animals?"

"Someone said my sign was a scam, but they did end up buying the service, but I don't really want to be yelled at again, So I am ordering a sign for the building."

"Why would someone say it's a scam?" I was curious to what these 'Spirit Animals' are.

"Because it was hard to believe. I think I am the only person that sells Spirit Animals, so such a new service is bound to be far fetched, but I can gurrentee the process."

"Can you explain it to me?" The teen was making it seem like a really mysterious store. What could it possibly be selling?

"I think I will only explain to paying customers because that way I don't scare people away."

I begin to frown a bit, so this is a very scam like store.

"I can imagine what your thinking but, don't go disbeiliving before seeing. What is your Aura Stage?" The teens said, looking at my expression.

My frown deepens, as I am a Non-er, a person unable to cultivate Aura. I don't want to tell this kid my non-existant Aura stage.

"From your expression I can guess, and also say I am sort of the same as you."

I look at the kid in surprise, was he a Non-er too? Non-er's are pretty rare, only taking up around 10% of the Hunter population.

"Ha ha, I am sort of different, what would you pay if you could cultivate?" The teen says looking at me seriously

My breath hastens. What? This place sells Cultivation techniques for non-er's or something? I look at the teen with even more shock then before.

"How much?" I ask a little excited.

"Let me think, usually I charge per aura stage so for you I'll only charge a stage 1 fee of 10 spirit crystals."

My breath almost stops from the absurd ammount. 10 Spirit Crystals!!! That was my entire life savings! I can't spend it all on some scam shop! I kept pondering however, what if it wasn't a scam? If I could truly cultivate and remake those spirit crystals in a flash as a Hunter. I have a slight hope this place isn't a scam, and if it is I can always find the Organization to sue this shop. At that point I will have nothing to lose.

"Can you give me a moment to get that amount of Spirit Crystals?"

"Well the shop was planning to close, but If you come in the next 20 minutes you can still buy it."

"Thanks!" I begin to run back to my apartment.

Gale POV

I watch as a middle aged man runs like the wind away from my shop, but he does need to book it if he wants to get the conversion before I close the shop. Other then the man, I had one other customer which was that girl, I believe she said her name was Aria, but she was very happy when she got her Spirit Animal, even at the price of her Aura for it. I can't compare how aura transfer for a spirit animal is, because I think having a compainion thoughout cultivation is much better then cultivating yourself to begin with.

From the system I learned a new feature about Spirit animals, which is Elements. Aria's Spirit, Etta, was of the light blue wolf, meaning it was the element of Ice. There is supposedly 9 elements; Red - Fire, Yellow - Lightning, Dark Blue - Water, Light Blue - Ice, Green - Wind, Brown - Earth, White - Light, Black - Darkness, and Gray - Null. Null element was usually some sort of psychic element, like telekinesis, telepathy, or magnetism.

I can have my own spirit animal, but I am waiting until I get a little more cultivation through the system. I have found the animal to be most in tune with the user so I have no idea what my animal will be. I watch as the old man runs back with a bag in his hand, he looks all sweaty from running straight back it seems, time to make another converion, though I am curious how to convert a Non-er's aura, into a Spirit.

Landen POV

I'm here, I pant, holding my savings in a big pouch.

"I'm...Here...." I am panting from running and I see the look on the teens face light up.

"Oh your back, that was pretty fast. What is you name sir?"

Sir? Oh I see, I am a customer now, so I get better treatment from the teen.

"I'm Landen Cate, 34, Aura Stage - Non-er"

"Thank you, and come right in." The teen led me to a room, looking much like a hospital room.

"Uh can you tell me more about the treatment?" I was a little nervous.

"Well, here we seperate aura from the body, and form it into a Spirit Animal. As for you a non-er just because you can't cultivate doesn't mean you dont have aura, though it will be a bit thinner then other cultivators."

I watch as the teen begins to make some weird hand movements. I feel a tugging at my chest and when I look down there is a tiny black ball being pulled from my chest. I look at it in amazement as the teen kept talking.

"Oh nice you seem to be of the Darkness element." Completely focused on the ball of darkness I don't even hear the Teen, then he took a breath and blew on the ball, a wisp of aura brushing against it, and I felt a bit ticklish. Holding down my laughter I watch as the blackness of the ball blows off and forms wings of a bird, the ball of light remaining turns into a little black raven sitting in the palm of the teen's hand.

"Now you need to name it." The teen holds out the baby raven towards me, and I instinctively call him "Lennox" The bird in the teens hand chirps and I feel Lennox being happy. I look up at the teen to ask some questions.

"What is he?"

"Lennox is your spirit animal, and now you two are inseperable."

I list off all of my questions and learn about my new partner. It seems the Teen's name is Gale and Spirit Animals is his breakthrough that only he can do. Lennox is basicaly my potential turned into spiritual form, and I am able to cultivate through him. When I asked how to cultivate all I was told by Gale that Lennox would know, and I watched as Lennox nodded. I watch as Gale mouthed some words to Lennox and He chirped. Gale then turned to me and spoke.

"If you manage to pay an extra 50 Spirit Crystals I can give you the abiltiy to talk to your spirit animal, though it isn't nessisarily needed to comunicate, as you can already talk through your feelings."

I nod still amazed by the teen with Lennox hopping on top of my palm. I was led by Gale to the front door and he gave me some instructions.

"Lennox is curious about the world, so you can show him whatever you think is good to learn, if you can communicate well enough he will naturally teach you his cultivation technique." I nodded as Lennox hopped onto my shoulder. I thank Gale profusely and walk around the city with Lennox.

Gale POV

I managed to get a good haul of crystalos today, maybe this job isn't as bad as I incially thought.
