"Pleasure doing business with you." said the cashier as she handed us the items we had purchased for tomorrow's mission.

I purchased a short knife and a basic new hunting uniform for myself.

After leaving the store, I realized it was getting dark. "Could you explain the sorcery thing another time? I think I would like to head home now, considering how dark it has gotten." I suggested.

She appeared both disappointed and irritated. "Fine, but it has to be after your mission tomorrow. Otherwise, you'll have to learn it by yourself." She grasped her sword, cut a portal for me, and said, "See you later," before she walked away. Something about her didn't seem right; my instincts were warning me not to trust her for some reason.

I stepped through the portal to return home, only to find my teammates fighting like cats and dogs in the hallway.

They both stopped the moment they noticed me, "Xavier!" They said in unison.

I stood still, contemplating whether to return to Hinata or not, "Why are you fighting now?" I asked.

Both stood up and together started talking over each other, which made it hard to understand what they were staying at the moment.

I clapped my hands together which caused them to be quiet, "If you both are going to act like children then I'm going to treat you like one. Gabrielle, you first." I said.

Gabrielle begun to fix up her hair and uniform, "It dinner time and we were wondering who was going to be cooking. But he said that the only time I should be cooking if we need to get rid of rats." Her eyes turned to Ren who was quietly laughing.

I turned my attention to Ren, "Xavier you haven't tried her food and trust me I was doing you a favour. I just don't want you to get sick-" after that commented he made, Gabrielle gave him a mean right hook that knock him to ground.

It seems there are some issues with my team members getting along. "How about I make dinner as my way of saying thanks for welcoming me into the team?" I suggested to them.

Gabrielle and Ren both looked at each other and show a thumbs up.

(Two hours later)

I prepared a three-course meal for them. For our starters a spinach & artichoke stuffed mushrooms.

Main dish was honey garlic salmon with asparagus.

And finally for dessert, a mixed berry parfait.

After presenting each one with their dishes, "Dig in." I told them.

To which they all behaved like pigs devour their meals. I was relief to see them eating my dishes.

Before eating, I said a brief prayer and then began to eat. "Are you all aware of tomorrow's mission?" I asked. "Earlier today, I went out to prepare my equipment for it."

Gabrielle paused her meal briefly, "We have been tasked with eliminating a creature called the Mothman. It is not too difficult, being just one enemy. However, we need to on high alert." Without delay, she resumed her eating.

Ren paused from eating and said, "I need to ask, what are your abilities? We can start planning ahead of time to prevent accidents." Then, he quickly resumed eating voraciously.

"I actually still need to learn about sorcery. I was just going to use my knife and Lezian during my time." I said after finishing my parfait.

Both Gabrielle and Ren looked at me in confusion, "Lezian." They said.

I forgotten to introduce them to my family, "Can you come out Lezian." I said and immediately felt her presence behind me.

Both Gabrielle and Ren stopped eating and stared in complete horror when they saw my family, "Guys this is my family. Say hello Lezian." I said calmly.

To which Lezian decided to sniff them before rubbing their face onto their heads then afterwards leaving.

"What do you think?" I said so cheerful not knowing that I scar the both of them.

Gabrielle got up and slowly walked upstairs, "I'm going to bed." She quietly muttered.

Following up Ren also decided to walk upstairs, "It's best not to stay up all night." He said.

I looked at Lezian who doesn't look like it understood what happened, "You are not scary just misunderstood."

(The next day)

My teammates looked like they didn't sleep at all. Maybe I should have not shown them my family yet.

But we all looked badass with our hunting gear on.

I had a plain white robe that were bit loose and showed a bit of my chest, follow up with black boots and a red belt to carry my blade around my waist.

Ren was a light blue robe with a white waves design, tight white gloves and white boots.

Gabrielle was a light pink robe with red roses design all over it, she carried a red ribbon around her waist, and a soccer ball underneath her arms.

We all had the same black undershirt and black pants.

"Are you ready for our mission?" I asked excited.

They all showed the tired expression that hint that they want to sleep rather.

Once we heard somebody knocking on our door. I was the one who opened the door to which a pink haired man wearing a purple suit appeared, "My name is Gun-wo and I'm your supervisor." He said
