Chapter 01
A familiar felling that I can’t quite place it. Like I’m being pulled. No that is not correct I can place it. It has happened before and as far as I can tell will happen again. Now is Omega ad soon to be Alpha, a new beginning in a new place, a new world. I wonder. What will it be this time? Well I don’t need to be wondering anymore I have settled my affairs here already. I can go right now if need be. I will go right now. I close my eyes and allow the pull to exert its influence on me, this speed things up. The pull starts to get bigger, stronger and faster paced. The influence area is about the size of my body. It stops growing in size but starts getting even stronger and at an even faster pace. Soon the acceleration I’m subjected to is almost the acceleration of the earth. Then it is more than the gravity of the earth, and more than the gravity of Jupiter and more than the gravity of the sun and of a big star and of a neutron star and then a black hole.
I have yet to understand how and why this happens but it does. And that is considering I’m like Einstein smart. Regardless I feel like I’m travelling between dimensions at warp speed. And no it’s not trek blasphemy, I may not be moving my space to somewhere else but I’m subjected to a greater acceleration than C and my space is moving through dimensions or at least that’s is the best I can do to explain…I probably boring you right, never mind I won’t be writing here in the hours and hours that I spend in this place. It probably doesn’t even matter all that much for the development of the story. So I’m gonna meditate and try to study little better where I’m and what is happening for reasons that are none of your business.
A while later I can feel this journey is at its end. Soon, a little more and I will be spawned. Adrenaline starts to be flow through my veins, my heart pumps faster, neuroreceptors more active, basically I’m starting to get anxious and my body is warming up for whatever is coming.
I leave the space that I was in and nope, no luck this time, well it could be worse but still, I’m some 150 meters high (500feet) and it is not in some isolated place it is the middle of the town with plenty of people to see it. I twist my body around kind of like cats do. Take a good look at everything, yeah Korea just like the sounds suggested I’m really high and in a crowded place. Falling at this height I only have a small leeway of maneuver to choose where I will land. There are 2 lampposts, 3 benches, a tree and the rest were relatively small or had people too close. I’m not about to put them in danger. The light poles had wiring in the perfect position to cushion my fall but there would be much more scrutiny afterward. After all it would affect more people; there was the tree but not a good one in absorbing impacts. It is, however, the best option and therefore will have to do. Assuming the best pose to balance between drag and lift, or less speed and best place to hit the tree he waits and his speed increases. At over 100 km/h (62miles/h) he hits the upper part of the tree. It bends and my body change course ensuring that I will have the most of the best parts of the tree to reduce my speed. Then I hit another branch, and another, and another. Spinning wildly I exit the tree top at a more controlled pace and position. I finally hit the ground. With my eyes closed I give a grunt of pain, well it’s not hurting all that much but it’s never good to let on how much punch I can really take.
I roll to my knees in a squatted position and when I’m almost at my position I let myself fall back to my back. All for the entertainment of the crow there must be forming around me. As expected I hear someone saying:
-Someone Call 119. I don’t have my cellphone with me.
Well that is a first, most people don’t give reasons just order other people to do it. Hell they order it even if they do have cellphones. That is a nice sounding voice, a female, just the right amount of concern but she can keep her cool, soon after I hear:
-Stop crowding him, give him some space to breath.
Common sense, but the kind that anobody listens to. And she really has nice voice. Damn, I’m not even here for a minute, literally and I’m already falling for someone. Shame on me, shame on me. I should at least get the feeling of this world first, learn it’s rules and have something to add to someone else if I’m going to enter a relationship. Well, what the hell, I want her so first the most important thing, no mental Jedi tricks. I blind myself to her. I will only be able to read her moods as well as the next men. No shrink technics it is never a good thing to know it all. Well she could have a boyfriend alredy, or well who knows, a husband.
-Can you hear me? Can you understand me? –Even though she is speaking in Korean I know Korean, a little rust perhaps but I know the language.
-Yeah I can. –I croak out.
I hear she kneeling besides me.
-You are going to be fine there is a nice gentleman that is already calling the Emergency. Can you breath normally?
-Yeah, and I don’t think I have anything broken.
-That is good, very good, by the way what is your name?
-You can call me Nasc.
-Interesting name, mine is Aysha.
-Life. A good name.
-Life?
-That is the meaning of your name, well kinda.
-Interesting, you know Nasc you were very lucky to have landed in a tree after jumping. – She says trying to make light of it, but it is obvious that she thinks I’m probably crazy.
-Why would you think that I jumped?
-Well there are no buildings close enough to someone falling have landed where you landed.
-Well I guess that you could say that I jumped. But I only did that because I would have fallen anyway. I could have delayed but not stopped so I instead jumped. - Blabbing my mouth out, damn I’m really falling for this one aren’t I? The best would have been just keep my mouth shut, give only as much information as required and give, by circumstance, other explanations of what happened, but noooooo I have to be speaking to her, and no lying. Why? Because how could I lie to her. Damn I’m losing it.
-You are crazy, now I’m certain. – She says felling relived. She comes a little closer and grab my hand. Squeezing a little she continues. – You are gonna be fine don’t worry; the paramedics will be here in no time.

-Don’t mention it, Can you move your legs.
-Yeah. – I say bending my knees slightly – I can move so no broken spine most likely. I slowly as if I was in pain pat around my body to fell my bones with my free hand going down to my legs she helps me get sit down and I pet my legs and finally say- No broken bones.
-Well, that is good as well.
Nasc lays his back on the ground and continues to talk with Aysha.
When the ambulance comes the paramedics do a quick triage and pick him up.
I see this strange but fascinating young men being picked up and led to the ambulance. She goes along and after he enters she prepares to enter as well, the paramedic that is entering asks:
-Are you family?
-Haaan… well no, but…
-I’m sorry, but only family can come. –Nasc suddenly speak up, not very loudly but there is no mistaking it:
-I want her to come.
-But sir, the rules… -getting up a little Nasc says a little more slowly but with a whole new tone of gravity:
-I want her to come. Will you deny me this? - Another paramedic speaks:
-Let her come. Worst case scenario the patient was all unsettled and she calm him down.
-You always cut corners don’t you?
-Thank you. -Aysha
-No worries. –Second paramedic
Damn why did I even insisted in coming in the first place? It’s not as if he likes me or anything. We just met. I shouldn’t have come. Well it’s not I’m busy on anything, so it’s like killing time.
-Thank you. –Interrupts Nasc. Well he does seem to want me here, or is he just being polite. Even though she thought that he was ok given everything she said with concern in her eyes:
-Is he gonna be ok?
-He doesn’t seem to have a broken spine, no broken bones, no swelling and he doesn’t seem to have a contusion. I think there isn’t anything to be too worried about.
-That is great. I mean it’s no good if he couldn’t walk again or if he had hit his head…-Damn what I’m blabbing about? I shoudn’t be saying such things it will only freak him out.
-Don’t worry. - Nasc interrupts her thoughts – I’m going to be fine, been through worse this time it’s no different.
-Man you are so lucky, falling from that tree, what were you doing scaling it in the first place?
-Well that is a secret. – Nasc says in a joking tone. Wait he didn’t fall from the tree. He fell on the tree, I saw him before hitting the tree and I was 1000% sure he was gonna die. But he didn’t, miraculously he survived. To be that fast he should have jumped from at least 20 floors high probably much more. And he is talking to the ETA guy as if it was just a dumb 30 feet fall. It wasn’t such little fall. Well most people would have been shaken with much less. He should be dead, I’m getting more and more sure about it. Why is he, even though just passively, still hiding it? What he has to hide? Well too bad for him I will discover. Just like old times.
-We are almost at the hospital. – She hears from the ETA – There will be a lot of testing and a 24 hour observation, but you should be fine.
-Thank you. You guys sure are cool. Sure is great trade war histories with you.
-War stories? We didn’t do any of that. We just saved the asses of the crazy dudes that well… are crazy.
-That is the point you guys saved their asses. Till the next. –The ambulance stops. And they take Nasc out and head toward the hospital. Aysha follows. Closing with the place where she knew she wouldn’t be allowed she hears a nurse says:
-You can’t enter there but just wait in here, are you his girlfriend?
-Hann, hee, well, no… - With kind and understanding eyes the nurse continues:
-I get it, well just wait in here he will be out within the hour.
-Ok, thank you. – Aysha says bowing a little.
-Ohh, dear… - says the nurse leaving.
-See you in a bit. - says Nasc.
I hope he will be alright, even if he is not right on his head. Now it is almost 3:00 pm and I need be deliver this at 6:00pm tops so I have 2 hours to kill easy. Sitting down not all that reassured by the words of every one she gives a big sigh.
