7.Sack

Chapter 7:Sack

The green creature displayed its yellowish-white fangs. Its yellow eyes stared sharply at Rendy.

Rendy could feel the creature's emotions—a mix of anger because its sack had been taken.

The green creature started to approach, its clawed hands visibly extending.

The long claws made Rendy somewhat fearful.

Slowly, the goblin approached Rendy. As it got closer, Rendy spun the sack he was holding.

Surprised by this action, the goblin dared not enter the reach of the spinning sack.

Feeling safe from the goblin, Rendy continued to spin the sack to keep it at bay.

The goblin hissed at Rendy, unwilling to come closer.

Seeing an opportunity, Rendy then struck the goblin with the sack.

The sack hit the goblin's head, causing it to recoil and fall.

As it fell, the goblin attempted to rise, staring angrily at Rendy.

But before it could fully stand, Rendy struck it again with the sack.

This caused the goblin to fall once more.

While it was still down, Rendy approached and began hitting it again with the sack.

The goblin struggled in pain as it was struck by its own stolen loot.

Rendy continued to strike from above. Suddenly, the goblin clawed at another part of the sack with its sharp nails.

This action halted the sack's swinging. Sensing that the goblin wanted to reclaim the sack, Rendy attempted to pull it away.

However, the goblin's strength was enough to resist Rendy's pull.

Rendy and the goblin engaged in a tug-of-war.

Rendy exerted all his strength to pull the sack, just as the goblin did.

Both of them pulled on the sack against each other.

A case of content theft: this narrative is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.

Suddenly, a tearing sound emanated from the sack.

Despite this, they continued to pull against each other.

Until finally, the tearing sound grew louder, and suddenly, the sack split in two, spilling out all its contents onto the ground.

Coins, gold, and money spilled onto the ground from the torn sack.

Seeing this, the goblin grew even angrier. It bit into another part of the sack and tore it apart as if eating porridge.

It then glared at Rendy, who was still holding onto a part of the sack.

The goblin leaped towards Rendy. Quickly evading, Rendy avoided the goblin.

Unrelenting, the goblin charged forward again, attempting to claw Rendy.

Rendy tried to dodge again, but due to the goblin's speed, its claw scratched his stomach.

The tear in his clothes was visible, and blood flowed from Rendy's stomach.

Backing away, Rendy held his stomach.

The goblin attacked again with its claws. Rendy jumped from his spot and stumbled.

Seeing Rendy fall, the goblin seemed to laugh. It approached Rendy slowly, as if mocking him.

Rendy, lying on the ground, tried to stand.

The goblin was too fast for a human. Rendy wouldn't be able to dodge again if the goblin truly intended to kill.

Feeling defeated, Rendy resigned himself to what seemed like another death.

Rendy sighed and stared at the goblin, which was still slowly advancing towards him.

The goblin knew Rendy couldn't match its speed, so it intentionally slowed its pace to taunt Rendy.

Rendy noticed a large stone nearby, although it could still be lifted with one hand.

He picked up the stone. It was heavy, but he could still hold it with one hand.

If the goblin suddenly moved fast, Rendy's only hope was to throw this stone.

Sweat dripped from Rendy's forehead. He gripped the stone tightly in his left hand, ready to throw it at any moment.

Suddenly, the goblin stopped.

It didn't move from its spot. Rendy was puzzled by the goblin's sudden stillness.

Rendy observed the goblin from where he stood. The goblin remained motionless.

Then suddenly, the goblin assumed a ready-to-run pose.

This made Rendy realize the goblin was about to make a swift move.

Indeed, the goblin suddenly dashed towards Rendy.

Unprepared and panicked, Rendy threw the stone without aiming.

The stone missed the goblin, which continued its approach towards Rendy.

Within seconds, the goblin managed to scratch Rendy's stomach again.

This caused Rendy to fall to his knees.

This time, the claw marks formed an X shape with six lines.

Rendy held his bleeding stomach.

The goblin danced around Rendy, seemingly mocking the kneeling Rendy.

Seeing a small stone nearby, Rendy secretly picked it up—it was sharp.

He then slid the stone between his index and middle fingers and clenched his fist.

Rendy watched as the goblin continued to jump and dance nearby, as if it had already won.

When the goblin approached, unaware while busy dancing, Rendy quickly kicked its leg.

This caused the goblin to fall to the ground.

Without delay, Rendy then threw himself onto the goblin.

The goblin struggled to free itself from Rendy's weight.

Rendy, holding the small stone between his fingers, began to strike the goblin.

The goblin screamed in pain as Rendy struck it with the sharp stone.

Without mercy, Rendy continued to strike.

Black blood spurted from the goblin's face. Still, Rendy kept hitting it.

After several minutes, the goblin's face was destroyed and no longer moved.

Feeling exhausted, Rendy then lay down beside the goblin's body.

Rendy's hands were covered in black blood stains.

Rendy tried to catch his breath, exhausted.

As he glanced towards the street, he saw another goblin observing the scene. Aware of being watched, the goblin ran away.

Suddenly, Mr. Flint emerged from his house and saw Rendy lying on the ground.

"My goodness, Rendy!"

Mr. Flint approached Rendy and helped him stand.

"Are you okay? You're bleeding."

Mr. Flint seemed to ignore the goblin's body—or perhaps he didn't see the creature.

Rendy pointed towards the goblin's body so that Mr. Flint could see it.

But Mr. Flint's response was, "What are you pointing at?"

Mr. Flint really couldn't see the creature. So it turned out that what happened in the church was truly visible only to Rendy.

Rendy realized that he gained this ability when he successfully came back to life.

A special ability to see the descendants of the Mother of Monsters.

Rendy then pointed towards the scattered coins, money, and gold on the ground.

Apparently, Mr. Flint could see these items.

Mr. Flint then ushered Rendy inside his house and seated him on the sofa.

Mrs. Fiana, who witnessed this, looked panicked and inquisitive.

"Oh my, oh my Lord, what happened to this child?"

"It seems he fought off a thief... The thief seems to have fled, but it looks like this brave boy managed to recover our stolen savings,"

Mrs. Fiana looked at Rendy.

"So, this child managed to save our savings. Oh, what a brave child!"

Rendy wanted to explain the truth but couldn't say anything. If he mentioned the goblin, he might be labeled as hallucinating.

So, Rendy said as if he had just fought off a thief.
