“Hey, you know what they say. Life is like being raped, if you can't prevent it from happening you have to enjoy it.” A bearded man said on a table with wine, beef, and water.
“Yes, Teacher yes. You are right.”
“Teacher, you are right your way of thinking of life makes people jealous.”
“Teacher, your path of Shamelesness is just too grand for us to comprehend.”
“Teacher, you are...”
“Teacher,... ”
In a tavern's bar, people were sitting on chairs surrounding a bearded man sitting on a chair.
The tavern was big and the noises of laughter, praising, and talking didn't stop in the big tavern bar.
“This doesn't help.” An old man sitting on a faraway chair was listening to the tavern's bar's conversations with furrowed brows.
This old man with a wrinkled face and white hair was called Fu Xia.
Fu Xia just came to this Old Tavern and he was planning on getting information by sitting and hearing people on the bar of the Old Tavern but it has been a few minutes and all he heard was some useless words. Except for an auction that he was planning on going to.
“I should leave.” Fu Xia said to himself as he chugged the last bit of alcohol in his glass.
Just when Fu Xia was about to stand up and leave he heard a voice from a near table.
“Have you heard? Princess Di Zi left the Silver Moon Country.”
“Hm? Wasn't she supposed to be locked in the Capital City's palace to get married to the Serpentine Countries prince? ” Another voice came out from a young boy.
“She was. But she escaped with the help of the Bai Clan.” The same voice replied, the guy was middle-aged and had messy hair.
“Huh? That 2nd rate Bai Clan? They are at the Supreme Light Country, what do they have to do with the royalties of the Silver Moon Country?” The young boy was even more confused.
“It is said that an heir of the Bai Clan called Zhen Jin was in love with this manipulative girl called Di Zi. Di Zi acted as if she was in love with him but Di Zi truly fell in love with him after a while.” The same person replied while shaking his head.
“Zhen Jin was talented beyond comprehension. So much so that he was one of the six supreme talent's. He reached the peak of Qi Nourishment at the age of 14 and reached the Transformation realm at the age of 18. However, the heir of the Bai Clan Zhen Jin died at the age of 20 while trying to save princess Di Zi so Bai Clan and Silver Moon Countries royalties are in a sensitive position right now.”
“Hmm.” The young boy fell in deep thought.
A few minutes later the guy that told the information left and the young boy left as well.
Fu Xia was still sitting when he gave out a huge sigh. The sigh contained relief.
“Thankfully, I didn't get into that mess.” Fu Xia remembered the scene where the Bai Clan's heir jumped out of the carriage and saved the princess from being caught.
People dying at a young age wasn't something special it happened every day.
And about Bai Clan's heir being one of the six supreme talents Fu Xia could only sight to that as well.
There were nine ranks of talents and six supreme of talents.
The way it worked was all about how good the origin of the person could absorb and accept energies.
If one wasn't one of the six supreme of talents, which was one in a trillion chance, they will be bound by what's called the Talent Shackle.
Talent Shackle's worked as a way to determine one's fate by the heavens, and there were nine ranks of Talent Shackles in this world.
For example, a Rank One-Talent Shackle will let one only reach the peak of the Body Refinement Realm and they can't go any further than that. A Rank-Two Talent Shackle will let one reach the peak of the Spiritual Confrontation Realm and they can't go any further than that and so on.
The reason Talent Shackle's existed was complicated.
It was said that extremely far in the past there were dragons, phoenixes, and many more were existing.
This era was so far away in the past one couldn't imagine in their minds.
At those times what the people now call the six supreme of talent's existed on everyone, no one had any shackles in front of them.
One day a human at the peak of the cultivation wasn't satisfied. He wanted more.
The human took a long spear and slashed the heavens, destroying the existing barrier and reaching another dimension.
With the human's mighty slash everyone at the peak of the cultivation world followed him and went into another dimension.
Because of what the human did, the heavens were angry and put a shackle on everyone who tried to defy it.
Of course, this was all speculation. There were a lot of people who thought this was all nonsense and the shackles were always there. Fu Xia was one of them.

However, one thing was for sure and that was Talent Shackles existed and Fu Xia had a Rank-Five Talent Shackle. If Fu Xia had a Rank-Nine Talent Shackle or one of the Six Supreme Talent's he would've reached Transformation Realm and surpass it a long time ago. He was bound to stay in the Transformation Realm.
It wasn't that no one tried to defy the Talent Shackle's but it was just too hard.
For example, someone with a Rank-One Talent Shackle could reach the Spiritual Confrontation as well however it will be extremely difficult and after Spiritual Confrontation, for him to reach the Qi Nourishment Realm is nothing but a daydream.
So, one's talent determined one's future and no one could change their talent. Passing beyond the Talent Shackle is possible but changing the talent is impossible.
“Let's stop thinking about these.” Fu Xia said while standing up. Then Fu Xia went upstairs, opened his door with the card, and went inside the room.
After closing the door Fu Xia went near to his backpack that was laying on the bed and opened it. There was money, spirit stones, but most importantly a red-black book.
Fu Xia took the red-black book and looked at it. Then looked at his sea of conciseness with his spiritual sense.
There were two blank red images inside his sea of conciseness. Fu Xia stopped looking at them after a while and looked back at the red-black book.
Fu Xia opened the red-black book and opened a page that he was thinking about for a long time. The book was old however it was still legible.
---
-Demon Transformation Heart Stone-
If one has griefs in their hearts. If one is fearful of the impending doom. If one is fragile and wants to attain power. If one has hatred and wants to take revenge. If one is nervous and looking for the truth.
---
The page started with a paragraph then started to talk about what Demon Transformation Heart Stone is.
---
Demon Transformation Heart Stone
For one to become past human desires. For one to go past shackles called ethics and morals. For one to go past humanity and become a Demon.
How To Obtain
Demon Transformation Heart Stone doesn't exist in nature. To obtain it one has to create it. To create it one has to produce three Heart Demons and fuse them by the technique described in the book then solidify them. If one can't produce Heart Demons to their hearts then one could use other's Heart Demons(Not Suggested).
---
The technique that the red-black book was talking about was still usable, and It was mysterious and mighty.
Fu Xia had no idea what was the origin of this red-black book. But he knew it was from the distant past era.
The writing style of it, the terms used(like the Heart Demon), and many more indicated that it was from a sect, clan, or person that wasn't recorded in history.
The book wasn't heaven-defying and earth-shattering however it contained evil techniques that can't be found in any of the new demonic cultivation techniques.
Fu Xia researched and found out that the Heart Demon term was used to describe the blank red images in one's heart. The term's sources went back to a hundred thousand years, which wasn't much when one considered how long this world has been around.
The term nowadays for the Heart Demon was Regret Imp.
Fu Xia, as one could guess, was planning on using the Demon Transformation Heart Stone. Fu Xia had two Heart Demons. He just needed one more. Luckily for Fu Xia, he was a moral person. He just had to grit his teeth a bit, just a little bit...
If one had a Heart Demon-Regret Imp, then for them to make further progress in cultivation was hard.
And for someone like Fu Xia who has two Heart Demon-Regret Imps and was getting close to his Talent Shackle, it was impossible to progress.
Fu Xia was looking at the pages of the red-black book that contained the Demon Transformation Heart Stone then closed the book, hid the book in his backpack, and stood up.
Nothing was proving that this book was genuine so Fu Xia was gonna test some techniques in the book on White Light City.
Fu Xia went out of his small room and then walked downstairs. Saying goodbye to the receptionist Fu Xia went out of the Old Tavern and walked around the Outer City. Then he decided to walk towards the Truth Shop in the 1st section of the 1st Outer City. Even though he knew it he just wanted to confirm.
“Hey, sir. What information do you want? We are the best information shop in the whole outer city.” The same lady last time asked Fu Xia with a smile on her face.
“Oh, so it was you sir.” The lady still smiled while saying.
“I heard that there was an auction going on a week later, can I learn about it?” Fu Xia asked curiously. Fu Xia heard of the Auction House on the bar as well, it was a useful place to gather information.
“Yes sir, of course, you can. It's a 3-star information it will cost 25.000 cin.” The lady responded.
Fu Xia thought for a while he already confirmed it, but he decided to give it to learn more information. He gave 25.000 cin to the lady and said “I would like to learn about it. ”
“Yes sir.” The lady took the money and resumed to speak with speaking to Fu Xia's mind:
“It's about a secret realm that got found. The 4th rate sect Body Steam Sect found a secret realm and is planning on selling the useless things inside it to the White Light City's Outer City Authority Hall. The Authority Hall is then planning on selling those stuff on the Auction House in the 3rd Outer City.” The lady said slowly.
Fu Xia stood still for a while. The lady gave more information than what he heard in the bar.
“Thanks for the information.” Fu Xia then said and started leaving the Truth Shop.
“It's our job.” The lady said smilingly to Fu Xia as he left the shop.
For the rest of the day, Fu Xia walked around the gigantic 99 regions of the 1st Outer City and made himself familiar with it. Of course, he didn't just walk around.
“Can I look for a job?” Fu Xia said to a person behind a table in a hot, large room; filled with decoration, and people.
“You have to go to the room and talk to the person there to apply for a job sir“ The boy behind the table replied while pointing at a room further in the distance.
“Okay.” Fu Xia replied and walked towards the room, then opened the door to it which had a sign that read 'Job Applications'
The room was really quiet. A lot of people were sitting and waiting, some were standing up and going inside a room that they were called out from.
There was an old man behind a large table sitting and reading a book while there are records in front of him. Fu Xia walked towards the person as the boy suggested.
When Fu Xia walked to the front of the old man.
“Are you here for taking a job?” The old man moved his eyes from the book and asked Fu Xia as he looked at him.
“Yes, I'm here to take a job here, I will be in the White Light City for around a month and then leave.” Fu Xia responded normally.
“Then you have to first give us your information.” The old man said as he gave a white paper with spaces meant to be filled like name, age, height, weight, and more.
“Okay.” Fu Xia said then took the paper and started filling it.
Name: Fu Xia
Age: 93
Height: 175cm
Weight: 69.99048kg
Cultivation Realm: Qi Nourishment Peak
Talent: 5th Talent Shackle
Fu Xia, after filling the paper, gave it back to the old man and said:
“As I said, I want to work for a month then I will leave the White Light City.”
“Mhm. I will find you a job by tomorrow or my assistant would find it. Since you are at the Qi Nourishment Peak Realm it will be easy for you to find a job at Outer City. But before that, as a necessity, we have to check if your information's truth.” The old man said as he took the white paper.
“Okay.” Fu Xia replied. Then went into another room that the old man pointed him at.
In the room, they checked Fu Xia's bone age, height, weight, cultivation realm, and talent. And after confirming them Fu Xia walked out of the building. This building was in the 15th region of the 1st Outer City.
Walking back to the Old Tavern in the crowd of people, Fu Xia thought about the red-black book once more.
“I should test the book today. If the book is not genuine then I should go for an alternative.” Fu Xia said to himself. It has been thirty years since Fu Xia obtained this book however he never tested it because he didn't want to.
Looking at the blue sky, the bright sun, the crowd of people and their noises, and the huge and small buildings. It was the life that he was thinking of. It was being alive. It was existing and not turning into ashes.
It was looking for a chance.
