A/N - [Proper prologue to be developed]
Living is a funny thing. To be born, one usually has to have two things: a Mother and a Father. I have neither. Instead, with the start of my life, I simply woke up. I woke up to a world encapsulated by a metal shell, or rather, the world is the metal shell. Interestingly enough, I woke up with a collection of memories; memories of a forgotten past. Most of it is sadly fragmented beyond recognition but I do recall snatches from time to time.
I woke up knowing that I was not human; flesh and blood. What that means, I’m not entirely sure right now, but I do know that I am alive. And that is all that matters right now. Even if my body is made of metal scraps and a bundle of loose wire, even if my head is made of circuits and eyes made of cameras, I still live. Two-ish arms, occasionally two legs, various sensors and cameras for eyes, my body is the only thing I have besides memories not my own.
I woke up in a metal room. Four slab grey walls made of riveted panels, flickering lights hang suspended by their cables eight feet in the air, a fine layer of dust blankets the entirety of the room including me, and lastly is the door.

Hello readers.
Silicon Life is currently a fiction I'm writing for NaNoWriMo and is written when I find the free time to do so. Most of this is just an idea I thought up over lunch or something and I'm currently dealing with college issues so not everything will be very thought out or well developed. If you have any ideas or suggestions, feel free to leave a comment. The basis of this story is largely influenced by a manga, "Blame" if you want specifics.
If you wish to see my WIP doc, it's linked below, in my signature, so go ahead and click it if you want. Just so you know, updates will be slow/small in coming and I'll update most of what I have written as it comes out.
Thanks for taking the time to read.
