The faerie lover II

I woke up with a painful headache as I was still trying to get hold of my bearings. I stood up and looked at my surroundings. At that moment I suddenly remembered about the fall that I had and the weird mushroom ring. I had walked into, and that had suddenly revealed a sinkhole… so I looked around and made sure that I wasn't in a cave trapped forever, never to see my family again. But to my surprise wasn't, as I looked around, I was astonished by the amount of green that was in the forest. Unlike the forest that I was camping in. The forest floor here was green and had small patches of flowers all over, instead of getting covered by large amounts of fallen leaves or pine needles, and the moss on the tree gave a surreal effect with its surroundings. As I looked up to see if I could find out the time of day it was. I was thankful to see the sun was in the middle of the sky.

“Heehee”….

Hu?... I blurted out as a heard, a small yet smoothing laugh in the breeze that gently flowed around the branches of the trees.

“Heehee”….

Yet again I heard that childish laughter. So I searched for the owner of the laughter that seemed ethereal in origin.

As I walked, I found a small clearing where two boulders protrude from the ground and, that was covered in moss and as I got nearer, weird caving that glowed lightly in a faint green revealed to me on the boulder.

Just at the moment that I was going to touch the weird engravings.

Ummm?... excuse me but what are you doing?....
