Luke had been working in the kitchen for 4 hours and still had 4 hours left.
“I’m so bored!” he said aloud, while making pizzas.
Since he was working in the kitchen with a bunch of old immigrants who couldn’t speak the language, there were no interesting conversations to be had. And because of how stressful the environment in this dirty kitchen is, he also had trouble daydreaming.
“I want something interesting to happen,” he said, while looking at a nearby immigrant in the kitchen. The immigrant didn’t respond.
Suddenly, he heard yelling.
He turned around and looked at the chef. That’s when he noticed a small, black kitten was stealing a big fish and the chef was yelling and running towards it.
Luke started laughing at the scene.
When the fish got caught in the small window Luke started laughing even more.

The chef then slammed the small window shut.
Luke came over to the screaming chef and saw the decapitated fish body stuck in the window frame.
“We can’t use it now, we might as well throw it out?“ Luke said.
The chef then started screaming in Luke’s face and said it was all his fault somehow.
“I will take this fish off your paycheck!” said the immigrant chef.
“How about I stab your throat?” said Luke.
The chef took a step back.
Luke went over to the small window with the fish stuck to it. He then grabbed the fish, opened the window, and tossed the fish body out. Then he went back to his pizza station.
He sighed. “At least something interesting happened.”
The next four hours flew by quickly and Luke never returned to that kitchen.
