After stitching the wound I got from the spider I started to dismantle the spiders that I had in my inventory, when I activated my butcher skill the spider’s bodies separated into several piles. There was the carapace, silk, fang, and poisonous parts the spider that bit me was a male which meant it didn’t have venom but still I need to be more careful when dealing with bugs. I got several notifications telling me that I learned new information about the hive spiders but none of them was about me leveling, after I was done sorting everything I pulled a pan out of my inventory and started cooking one of the spiders.
I layered the pan with butter and let the spider meat simmer within the melted butter, for some reason the spider meat looked just like crab meat but the smell was completely different than cooked crab. After the meat was a healthy brown I lowered the heat on the portable oven and started to season it with random spices that I had on hand. After cooking it for more than an hour I dug in, the flavor of it wasn’t that bad considering what it came from but I wouldn’t want to live off of it for years. As I was finishing up I got two new notifications which weren’t surprising after all, well not the first one at least.

Poison resistance LV 6/10

you are more immune to poisons than most people however not all poisons will be harmless to you
Maybe I should have used analyze on the meat before I just ate it, I wonder what would happen if I gave it to another person? As I thought about it I began to imagine the bodies littering the roof along with the smell that will soon follow which completely ruined the idea but I still wanted to know what the analyze say about my dish.
Dish: spider concoction
this dish has been prepared by a novice chef that knows nothing about cooking and yet it still tastes good, gives a delightful taste followed shortly after by death to those that don't have poison resistance, 10% poison resistance if subject survives
I can tell the system hates me, well best not dwell on it any longer I should focus on how I should kill the spider queen downstairs without killing all those people. As I turned around to ask the others for their sac… I mean help I saw each one of them staring at the spider food behind me; they probably think its food I found downstairs.
“I wouldn’t if I were you; the meat is poisonous unless you have a resistant ability.” (Me)
“Like hell it does, I watched you eat it!” (Thug)
“Its not cool to lie about this bro can’t you just share some of it?” (Panda Man)
The other three stayed silent but each one of them wanted some of the spider meat, I doubt they would listen to me even if I argued with them. Before I could do anything though the thug put the spider meat in his mouth and swallowed then the giant panda man was about to go for it but I stopped him as a watched the thug. The thug was in the middle of enjoying the left over’s when he fell to the floor and started convulse in a pile of bloody froth, everyone backed away from the plate like it was the plague. This proves that the best way to convince someone is to show them what you’re talking about.
If you’re wondering why I keep calling the survivor the panda man it’s because he is a giant man with a panda shirt on, wait who am I talking to? Anyway we’re getting off track let’s get back on how we are supposed to kill the big ass spider down stairs. If we went on a full on assault most of us would die in a instant of course of it does get that bad I could always split and come back when I’m stronger, let’s put that idea on the back burner for now since there are multiple ways to take those spiders out.
I have three propane tanks in my inventory I could drop one down from the ceiling and blow it up while the spiders investigate it but that would kill the people trapped in the lobby. I know I have to take down the queen but the problem is her children, if I focus on the queen her children attack and if I focus on the children the queen attacks so the best plan I have is to take care of the children first.

I called everyone together and told them what was going on in the lobby and they were both angry and scared about it. After that I informed them that I could take on the queen but her children would need to be taken care of first, after a lot of arguing we finally came up with a plan that wouldn’t get everyone killed well at least that is how it’s supposed to be but I doubt it. I set up above the queen after clearing out all of the spiders on the second floor and the others went down to the first floor to take care of the queen’s children as I made my entrance to the lobby.
After the battle started I dropped onto the queen with a blow torch in one hand and a SMG in the other, she started to go into a fit and called her children for help but they were being distracted by my group. I climbed up to the nape of the queens head then started to melt her carapace, once I got deep enough to burn her flesh she let out a ear piercing screech then started to thrash around even more which resulted in the deaths of a few of the people on the walls. Once I got my balance back I started to fire into the whole that I created, the spiders ignored my group charging through to get to the queen but it was already too late to save her. She fell to the ground after a long struggle for her life which she lost; I rolled off of her lifeless body and stared at her children which were being killed by the remaining survivors.

After the spiders were dealt with the group walked over and started to admire my kill completely oblivious of me, I slowly got up and put the spider queen’s body in my inventory. Once that was done I turned my attention on the survivors, two of the three were already being eaten but the third was okay as far as I could tell. I cut the third down and torched the others which made a scene with my group. I sighed at their naïve little minds working so hard to justify my actions when in their opinion the others could be saved. The best thing about this though is that I struck out on the new survivor, he was the swat leader that was visiting our fine little town. He bled hero through and through and could take my place for this sad little group.
For most that are in my situation it would be awesome but not for me, if I lead a group I want them to follow me without question and have no delusions about our situation even a cop would hope for the military to swoop in and make this all a bad dream. Once I know everyone here is safe I will be leaving this hell whole, I pulled the webbing off of the swat leader then took him to the roof, the group still gave me a wary glare but I just ignored them. Once we got on the roof I laid the SWAT leader down and went to the corner to dismantle the Queen, I didn’t care about the meat at the moment instead I focused on the queens carapace mainly it’s legs.
When we were fighting her lags went through the brick and concrete walls like they weren’t there. I picked up one of the legs and inspected every inch of it, the bottom half of it was sharp and smooth while the rest was thick and sturdy so I didn’t break. The leg had great slashing power and piercing power so I could probably make a glaive or a spear out of it , I got up and went through the building collecting either mops or brooms. Once I got eight poles I went back to the roof to see the group huddled around the SWAT leader, I walked over and pulled out some food for each of them and went back to my work.
I broke off the ends of the mops and brooms then attached each end with the spider queen’s legs, once they were in place I wrapped each on in a multi-layer of gorilla tape. Gorilla tape is one of the strongest kinds of tape and it is water resistant so it helps out a lot but I should probably fix them when I have the time.

After dismissing the window I drew my attention to the group that were making so much noise, I put down the spear that I just created and walked over to see the SWAT leader up and moving. He looked at the surroundings and looked disappointed for some reason then he turned his attention to us and demanded a explanation about what happened to him. I guess I can give him the Basics before I leave them.
