Well since I was dealing with spiders I would like to use fire but sadly fire and wood doesn't go together, so I went with the next best thing. I pulled out my machete and walked towards the Neighbors room, as I approached I could hear the hissing sounds of the spiders along with the Blood that fell to the floor. As I walked into the room I could see the bodies of them all over the floor, the smell of liquor still filled the room. As I looked over the room a spider walked in only to let out a small screech before I pierced it's eyes going straight through the brain.

I dismissed the windows only to find myself flying into the wall, the impact shattered my arm along with breaking the wall that I landed on. I slowly turned to see another spider checking on it's dead kin, I pulled myself out of the wall just to meet the angry spider it's going be a lot harder now seeing how I only have one arm along with the element of surprise is gone. the spider jumped around keeping on the move trying to confuse me but I kept on it each time it jumped, finally it jumped at me and tackled me to the ground while trying to bite me. I held the spider up using my knees as I went for my machete that fell a few inches away from me, as it was about to rip my throat out I grabbed my machete and plunged the blade deep within the spiders brain. as i struggled to get free from the spider a new message interrupted my effort.

The pain from my arm disappeared and I could control it once again, which made it so much easier getting free from the spiders grasp. Once I was finally free from the massive ass spider I went through the house searching for any more spiders, you know moments like these I just wish I could torch everything and be done with it, Has anyone else sometimes feel that way? After I searched each room of the apartment I collected everything that I found useful which mostly consisted of liquor but I have to ask does someone really need a full fridge of nothing but cheep liquor? As I collected the last bottle I got a notification that was actually quite surprising.

I guess you can gain titles quite easily but I have a feeling I shouldn’t go around trying to collect as many titles as possible, I don’t know if they can have a negative effect. Now what should I do about these spider corpses? I can dismantle them here but I don’t want to be ambushed again like last time, let’s store them for now and once I’m in a safe place I will dismantle them.

Now let’s secure this building then find out how everywhere else is doing. I wish the system gave me a detecting ability it would be useful when fighting these damn insects but I’m not complaining I’m sure I am better off than most people. I went through each room on the third floor and I found spiders and corpses other than that nothing really new, like the last two rooms I collected what was useful and moved on no point in staying around. When I went to the second floor everything went to shit; the spiders didn’t kill their prey instead they wrapped them in their webbing and stuck them to the walls alive yet unconscious. Since I couldn’t help them at the moment I moved on with searching the apartments, when I went to the last room I was greeted by three spiders which were easily dealt with, with buckshot to the face.
When I directed my attention to what they were doing my heart sunk, Dr. Frank the resident doctor was hung up on the wall conscious and was screaming in pain while something was moving around under the webbing. I couldn’t cut him down because the webbing was too strong so all I could do was put him out of his misery. I pulled my arm back and gave him a quick death, as Dr. Franks head fell to the ground tiny spiders rushed out of his neck and on to the floor! I quickly pulled out a flare and a can of Febreze then torched the bastards. As I emptied the can the popping sounds of the spiders ringing through the air as I put out the fire before it spread any further. Dr. Frank was a good man and he has been a good friend to me ever since I moved in, he didn’t deserve this! I put his head in my inventory so I could find him a proper burial then left the room. This world is cruel and only the strong will survive in it, if I want to live I need more strength.

I sighed as the message disappeared, I guess I can do that I don’t want to kill these people anyway. I walked through the apartments either freeing the victims or killing them depending on if the spider hatchlings burrowed into them or not, after freeing everyone on the second floor I guided them up to the roof seeing how I didn’t know how safe being inside was anymore. After guiding the small group outside I went back in and began my decent to the first floor, the stairs turned into webbing half way down followed by the echo of multiple spiders. I ignored my rage as I kept a look out for anything that moved around me, the whole first floor was now turned into a spiders den and you could only go down certain paths. I made my way through killing every spider I could find only to find myself in the lobby which was the hatchery, all around me were people strung up like the second floor but in the middle was a giant spider that the other spiders protected. I guess I found the Queen, as I was distracted by her size I heard a hissing voice in my head that didn’t remotely sound human.
“So you’re the human that my children couldn’t take care of, no matter you will be joining your fellow humans soon enough.” (Queen)
“Spider if I do die here someone else will come and they will kill you, we are adjusting at the moment but when we are finally used to the changes there won’t be a safe haven for you after what you did here.” (Me)

The spiders jumped at me and I quickly jumped back avoiding them, the spiders hit the wall as they were recovering I ran towards the stairs making sure I didn’t get hit by their webs. As I made it past the door and swung it closed a spider jumped onto me, before I could even react the spider plunged its fang’s deep within my shoulder but instead of crying like a bitch I pulled my handgun out and unloaded the clip into the spider’s neck. I felt the spider release of my shoulder and I pushed it off of me but I didn’t get up right away instead I just laid their as I tried to block the pain from my mind. After a few minutes staying like that I put the spider into my inventory and ascended to the roof where my solitary group was. The five people that I was able to save were scattered around the roof wallowing in their self pity and delusion of being rescued, I walked to the corner of the roof and started to tend my wound while thinking of how I’m going to get my revenge on that bitch.
