*Aiden runs over to Monika and Rylet, He couches next to them*
Aiden: Please be alright… *Monika is on her side, Aiden rolls her over onto her back* Monika… *he picks up her head with his left hand and supports her back with his right* Can you hear me…? *Marley walks over and feels for a pulse on her neck with his left pointer and middle finger*
Marley: She's alive, don't worry. Plus, I can feel mabiki from her. She should be more durable than a normal person. *He walks over and does the same for Rylet* He's got a pulse too, you guys got really lucky. That fiend was around three stars, maybe four!
Aiden: So this mabiki is the super power stuff and these monster things are called Fiends? And stars? So the more stars they have the worse it is?
Marley: *Marley gets a big smile across his face* Man, you catch on fast!
Aiden: *Aiden picks Monika up* I know they're alive but I want them taken care of. Do you have any healing mabiki people like Monika?
Marley: *his eyes open wide a bit* What did you say? She can heal?
Aiden: *he nods his head* Yessir.
Marley: *his face lightens up* That's great! We need more people that can heal! You guys will fit right in like it's home! *He picks up Rylet* Let's get going!
Aiden: *he nods again* Right. But don't think ahead with that "Fit right in" nonsense, I didn't agree on joining anything. First, we are getting them medical help. Once that's done, you are explaining this group before I consider joining it. *They walk out of the school to see the fiends running everywhere, Aiden's pupils shrink as he realizes that the fiends are at the apartments* M-MOM-!! *he puts Monika on a bench and runs around 50 mph to the apartments*
Marley: Oh my, look at him go. *He watches Aiden run, staring with a blank face* *Aiden makes it to the apartments to see the fiends attacking people, a guy is screaming as he gets into his car and tries to start it, as the engine revs, a sliver fiend tries to flip the car, the guy screams as it slowly lifts the car, Aiden runs over and punches it off the car with his right hand, sending it rolling*
Aiden: Get out of here! *he runs over to the fiend and punches it with his left fist across its face* OUT OF MY WAY!!! *he punches straight through its chest with his right fist, he pulls his fist out of the fiend and stares at the body for a second before running, he quickly runs to his apartment, he notices his building has holes in the ceiling, his apartment is at the top* MOM!! *he runs up the stairs and opens the door, he quickly looks around, a huge part of the ceiling is in the middle of the living room* Mom!? *He runs to her room, nothing in there, he checks his room, nothing, he then sees the note and remembers, "If You Stay Home I Will Be Back Soon, Sorry I Couldn't Make You Breakfast On Your Big Day :( But I Know You Will Understand How The Office Is."* *He exhales* Thank god she isn't home… *he starts walking out of his apartment* And here I was worried sic-*he gets cut off*
???: A-aiden…? *Aiden's pupils shrink, his heart drops, he then realizes the door was open when he ran in. He turns to see the ceiling debris moving, he quickly lifts it up to see his mom* *he stares in disbelief*
Aiden: M-mom…? *She's laying there with cuts and holes in her, there is a box next to her, it's his cake*
Aiden's Mom: *she smiles* Hey sweetie…
Aiden: *he holds back tears as he quickly helps her sit up against a wall* No no no no no! *He looks at her cuts and holes, she's losing blood quickly* Shit shit SHIT!! *he looks at his mom to see she's getting pale* MOM!? STAY WITH ME!!
Aiden's Mom: *she puts her right hand on his heart* It's okay love… *she smiles* I told you I couldn't be there your entire life…
Aiden: QUIT TALKING LIKE THAT!! YOU ARE GOING TO BE FINE!! I PROMISE!!
Aiden's Mom: Don't make promises you can't keep sweetie… *she rests her head back on the wall and looks up into the sky* Remember when I told you the world was cruel…? *He stares at her with tears in his eyes* This is what I meant… I don't get to see my handsome boy grow up into the hero he wanted to be… I also never got to see you meet your sister… I wanted to be here for that, but she is with your father in San Antonio… *Aiden's eyes widen, she grabs the side of his face with her left hand* Be the hero you always wanted to be, what you were meant to be, save lives even if it means getting yourself hurt. I have no doubt in my mind that you will make me proud… *tears roll down Aiden's face as she kisses his forehead* I love you son… *she slumps back*
Aiden: *Aiden's heart drops* No no no! Don't say that! NOT NOW!! I'M NOT READY TO SAY GOODBYE!! *He shakes her but she doesn't wake up, he starts to growl but it turns into weeping, he grits his teeth as he cries, he hugs her* I… I love you so much mom… *as he hugs her and cries, a fiend crawls in from the roof, suddenly the golden aura leaves his mom's body and is absorbed by the fiend, Aiden let's go of his mom and watches the aura enter the fiend, the fiend's hums start to have his mom's voice mixed in, Aiden's pupils shrink as he grits his teeth, an anger vein pops out of his head*
Fiend: *it speaks to Aiden with his mom's voice mixed with a little girl* W-what did you do to my s-son…? *Aiden's eyes widen*
Aiden: What…?
Fiend: I WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU FOR WHAT YOU DID TO MY SON!! *Aiden stares at disbelief*
Marley: It's okay Aiden… *Aiden turns to see Marley staring with a serious face, Monika and Rylet are laying against the wall behind him*
Aiden: Can we do something to help her? Can we save my mom!?
Marley: *he stares with despair, then sighs* I'm sorry Aiden. She's gone. The fiend merged with her soul. There are times they can talk about their most traumatic experiences when they were human, they can listen to you or even reply but keep in mind, when a fiend merges with a human soul, it's no longer one or the other, it's a new being. *Aiden looks at the fiend* This is part of your mother now. She will know that you are her son but the fiend's instincts don't care. The best thing to do is-*he gets cut off by Aiden*
Aiden: Is to put her down so she can rest… *he gets into his orthodox boxer stance* *Marley is taken off guard but he slowly smiles*
Marley: You are strong kid… She will definitely be proud of you.
Aiden: *he talks in his head as he stares at the fiend* No one would believe me if I told them at the age sixteen, or hell, even on my birthday that I would be staring at a monster that absorbed my mom's soul. Now I have to put her down so she can rest. *The monster runs at him, he doesn't flinch or anything* After all these sixteen years growing up, the last thing I expected was to lose my mother on my birthday and while she is dying, she tells me I have a sister out there, the world truly is cruel. *He dodges the monster last second* But I know what I must do, thanks to my mother, I must save everyone I possibly can from these fiends and put an end to them. I have to save my sister and maybe even my father. *His sadness fades as he gets a face of determination, he pulls back his right fist* Thank you for everything… *he punches straight through the monster's chest* Mom… *the monster weeps as he gargles on its own blood, the monster puts it's right hand on his left shoulder* Huh…?
Fiend: *Aiden can barely understand it* S-save them a-a-all… M-m-make me proud…
Aiden: *Aiden grabs the hand and holds it* I will mom… I promise… No more crying… *the fiend fades away, the golden aura slowly fades into the air, Aiden closes his eyes* Goodbye mom… *Aiden lets out a shaky exhale*

Marley: *gets a big smile* Very fair! I will tell you about it but again, your friends are-*he gets cut off by Aiden*
Aiden: Right right! Shit! *They pick up Rylet and Monika, they start heading out, after a bit, they make it to a gated apartment complex*
Marley: Home sweet home! *Aiden looks at him with a poker face*
Aiden: This is your hide out or your house?
Marley: *he chuckles* Trust me kid, with money, you can get anything done. *Marley walks up to the front gate and types in a code, the gate opens and they walk in, they make it to an apartment, Marley puts a key in and opens the door, it turns out the apartment building isn't a bunch of apartments, it's one big building disguised as a apartment building*
Aiden: Huh? What the-?
Marley: Money kid! Sometimes you have to hide in plan sight! *He chuckles as he walks to the main area, it's an office with desks everywhere, Marley walks to one of the office rooms, he opens the office door, it turns out to be Samantha's office*
Samantha: *she puts down her book and rolls her eyes* Yeah yeah whatever! Just come right in right Marley!? *She looks at Marley, he's smiling but she realizes he's holding Rylet and Aiden is holding Monika, seeing both injured, she gasps* Oh my god! *She stands up, jogs over to them and looks at both of them* What happened?
Marley: From what I can understand, they encountered a fiend that was a three to four star. *he puts Rylet on his left shoulder and pats Aiden on his back with his right hand* Thanks to this guy right here! Aiden managed to hold it off!
Samantha: *she looks at him* So you found another mabiki user? Glad to hear it! I'm Samantha! *She holds out her right hand for a hand shake, Aiden puts Monika in one of the office chairs*
Aiden: I'm unfortunately not a mabiki user. *As he shakes her hand, everything around Samantha turns dark purple, her pupils shrink, she pulls her hand back and jumps back on to her disk, she points her right palm at Aiden and puts her left hand on her right arm*
Samantha: STEP AWAY FROM THEM NOW!! *a purple aura comes out of her palm, she charges it up, it looks like a purple snow storm in her palm*
Aiden: *Aiden takes a step back with a sweatdrop going down his temple* W-what's going on!?
Marley: *Marley laughs as he walks over to Samantha and pushes her hand down with his right hand* I see he's gotten a rise out of you! He's an interesting thing right?
Samantha: *she growls at Marley* Is this some sort of sick joke!?
Marley: *gets a chibi face that is smiling* No, they are really injured!
Samantha: *she growls at him before talking to Aiden* Pick her up Aiden and follow me! *She looks at Marley* Bring him too jackass! You have a lot of explaining to do afterwards! *She speed walks out*
Marley: I gotta talk to a lot of people! *he smiles and looks at Aiden* You heard the lady! *He follows her, Aiden picks up Monika and follows them* *they walk into another apartment building that is also one big building disguised as apartments, it's filled with medical equipment, Aiden watches three doctors are running around struggling to keep people alive, he sees a person with their face missing, the doctor holds his hands over their face and releases a purple aura out of his hands, he is slowly repairing their faces*
Aiden: *Aiden is amazed but he can't help but stop* Sir? *The doctor looks over at him with a disgusted face* Can you help my friend?
Doctor: Can't you see I'm doing something!? What the hell is your problem!? People are dying and you are distracting me!!
Samantha: Aiden! Let's go! We will put her in line! You can't bother a doctor like that!
Aiden: *Aiden ignores Samantha* No offense, if you help this girl in my hands, she can get all these people back and in action before you can have two up.
Samantha: Aiden!! *The doctor speed walks to him, he looks like he's going to hit Aiden but Marley step in*
Marley: Woah now! Relax Abraham! He's just a kid. He doesn't know better.
Abraham: *Abraham Trevino, Mexican, 43, 6'1, messy hair, around 290 pounds of muscle* Oh of course he doesn't!! Get these kids out of here!!
Marley: They need medical attention too. You need to help them too.
Abraham: *he points behind him with his right thumb* Get in line! *He storms off* *Samantha lets out a frustrated exhale*
Aiden: *Aiden gets a serious face* I mean it old man! She can help you!
Abraham: *Abraham turns around fast and rips his mask off* Who the fuck is this kid Marley!? Get him the fuck out!! *He turns to Samantha* Or you do it Samantha!!
Marley: *Marley smiles* I think you should listen to this kid!
Abraham: Oh let me guess, you just met him but you feel like he has some sort of potential?
Marley: *he gets a big smile on his face* You know me too well! Keep in mind, this kid held off a three to four star fiend by himself!
Abraham: No shit, I can sense his mabiki in him, even though it's weird… I don't like it.
Marley: Oh come on! You know better! A random newbie can't handle a four star like nothing! He has to be right about her!
Abraham: *he sighs* Have you seen her in action?
Marley: Nope!
Abraham: *he gets in Marley's face* SO WHY THE HELL SHOULD I DO IT!? FOR CRYING OUT LOUD, THE KID MIGHT BE LYING JUST SO HIS FRIEND IS SAFE!!
Marley: *he leans in even closer to Abraham and smiles* Trust me. *Abraham groans as he walks over when puts his right hand over Monika's head, his eyes widen*
Abraham: Huh? Her mabiki is strong close up! *As he heals her, he can sense her body injuries* One leg, three ribs and pneumothorax.
Aiden: What does that mean? She broke a leg and three ribs?
Abraham: And the same for her lung. *Her cuts leave her body* Here. Good as new.
Aiden: *Aiden walks to a chair and sits her on it, he looks at her* Monika? *After a few seconds she starts to wake up, Aiden smiles* Hey… *she hugs him fast* Hey, it's okay. *He hugs her back* You did great.
Monika: *Monika tears up* I thought I lost you… I'm so glad Rylet has a good head on his shoulders even though he's kind of a dick sometimes… Wait. *Suddenly she looks around* Where is he!? *She then realizes it's not just them two and they are in a new place* W-where are we? *She sees Marley and Abraham* *she gets nervous* H-hello… *she does a nervous wave, Marley waves back with a smile but then she sees Rylet on his shoulder* Rylet! *She stands up fast* Can I see him? Please!
Marley: No problem! *He holds Rylet in front of her, she puts her hands together, places her hands on his chest, her purple fiery aura covers Rylet and almost instantly heals Rylet, Marley gets a big smile on his face*
Abraham: *Abraham is amazed by her power* Wooooah… in all of my mabiki years, I never seen healing like that before... That was amazing.
Monika: *she is flattered* T-thank you… *she hugs Aiden*
Aiden: *he blushes* What is wrong with you? *He feels himself healing, he looks down at her* Oh you think you are cute? *He tries to push her off but she won't budge*
Abraham: I hate to trash your reunion with your boyfriend but we need your help.
Aiden: *he blushes* Boyfriend!? *He gets fiery eyes with spiky teeth, Monika let's go of Aiden and turns to Abraham, as she talks, Aiden is yelling in the background*
Aiden: WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU!? YOU WANNA FIGHT!? WE CAN TAKE IT OUTSIDE!!
Monika: Is it medical? *She flexes biceps* I'm a strong healer as you saw! I can get everyone on their feet in no time!
Abraham: I hate to say it, as a "master" at healing, you are in a class of your own. I'm going to need your help with everyone here.
Monika: *she turns to Aiden* I'm going to stay here and help these people. If you decide to leave, please be careful. *She looks upset*
Aiden: *he scratches the back of his head with his left hand* Right right… I have a horrible track record of that…
Marley: As promised, we will talk about this place! *he walks over to one of the hospital beds and puts Rylet down on it* He will stay here with her, since he doesn't have mabiki he will be out for a bit. *He starts walking towards the front door, he pats Aiden on his left shoulder with his right hand* Come on, I will show you around and while I do, I will tell you everything you want to know! *Aiden follows him*
Samantha: *she gets spiky teeth with solid white pupils* HEY!! YOU ASSHOLE!! WE AREN'T DONE TALKING YET!! WE NEED TO TALK!! *Marley closes the door*
