“Birthia it’s been a while since we last saw you,” Chane exclaimed.
“It has been a while, how have you been Chane?” She replied, she never thought she would see them again but yet here they are.
“We all have been good, you weren’t joking when you said we would rarely see you back in the company,” Chane replied seeming to be happy by that.
“Different departments make it impossible to meet up.”
“How did Cole know where to find you?” Ally asked.
“I was having my lunch break and Cole found me here coincidentally.”
“Honestly I was hoping I would run into you, and it actually paid off,” Cole added.
“We should all have lunch together then, that would be nice,” Holly added.
“Yes, I second that,” Chane added.
Menlyn just nodded, it would be hard to make it but she would try to come to have lunch with them sometimes if she had time.
She looked at her clock and knew she had to head back to the office if she wanted to leave early today she felt way too tired.
She got up and felt a bit dizzy, “Sorry I have to cut this short, but I have to head back to work. I need to finish a few things”
“Do you want me to accompany you? You don’t look so well.” Cole asked.
“I am more than fine, don’t mind me.”

“She is fine,” Chane added after her, “Bye Birthia see you next time.”
When she was turning away, “Wait!” Cole called after her.
She turned to face them, and she looked at him, “Friday there is an event where I work, you should come. We can meet out front on Friday at seven in the night.”
Menlyn nodded, she was getting weaker by the second and she went back to her office and welcomed the cool air from the A.C
She sat on her chair and rubbed her hands on her throbbing forehead, she needed to get some meds into herself.
The rest of the day was a haze and she was very unproductive and could barely manage to do anything right.
She stood up shakily and would leave earlier today, there was no point in this for her, she called May to come and fetch her.
She went out of her office and down the elevator to the downstairs section, she was walking past workers hurriedly and when she got outside she appreciated the fresh air.
Even though it was giving her a bit of a chill it made her feel better.
She hoped May would be here anytime soon, she was way too tired to be standing for a while.
“Birthia.”
She turned around and saw Cole rushing to her, how had he spotted her when she had made sure to keep her head down.
Talk about a stalker she thought.
“Are you heading home?” Cole asked.
“Yes and again aren’t you supposed to be working?”
Cole rubbed the back of his head, “You have a good point.”
“How did you even notice me?”
“I always want to see you Birthia, I notice you even if others don’t see to.”
“So you are a stalker Cole?”
“No, not like that. Cole replied quickly.
“What is it you want to tell me, I am not feeling well and I have to go home any minute now.”
Cole placed his hand on her head, “You have a very strong fever, bummer. You should rest for a while.”
“I intend to do so, that’s why I am heading home.” And Menlyn meant every word that she was saying.
She was going to go home and have a good rest so she could come back at her best.
“One more thing before you leave, this is to take away your fever,” Cole said and he placed a soft kiss on her lips that felt very light.
“Cole someone could have seen that, and you will get sick on top of it you just can’t kiss me when you feel like it.”
Cole grinned, “It’s been a while since I felt your lips and I missed it.” With that Cole dashed back to the office and May pulled in and she got into the car and headed back home.
