He awoke, lying down in a pitch-black void, empty except for pair of reds orbs. Him. Despite being gripped by fear, Zarrin slowly stood up and walked towards the orbs.
"Wh-What do you want this time?", he said, his voice shaky.
"Why the hostility, old friend? Was it not a mutual agreement between us? You chose this.", replied a calm, but cold and raspy voice, sending chills down Zarrin's spine.
"Can you please...just this once please let it go-aaaaahhh", Zarrin screamed and fell to the ground in pain. It was as if he was being flayed alive. As he trembled on the ground, the orb moved towards him.
"Need I even say it, Zarrin? Remember, the deal was I help you and you help me.", the mysterious man said, "Or, well you know happens, don't you?".
After a few moments of silence, Zarrin shouted, "How is any of what you tell me to do, HELPING you?", he paused for a few moments as the pain finally subsided, "What do you want?".
"None of your concern, now for my help. I want you to kill...", he paused for a moment, "Ah yes, a werewolf. A specific one near the city of Leighwelbo."
Zarrin's eyes widened, "How do you know?"
"Please how is this a surprise at this point? Anyways, with the way things are going, you might end up getting killed before you get anywhere near the city. So head southeast to the city of Botes, and look for someone named Nemo. You'll figure it out from there. Don't fail, or you know what will happen." A snapping sound caused the black void to be replaced by a forest illuminated by the sun.

He was in the same forest above which he had fought the bounty hunters. All his mana restored and his arm healed, he fell to his knees in relief. Right then he remembered, as his hands hastily moved to his head. "They got bigger, those dammed horns got bigger." He slammed his fists on the ground in frustration, as tears rolled down his face. After a while, he got up and as he wiped his tears spotted a broom. There was no sign of blood anywhere near it, so the hunters must have escaped, lucky them. His compass was still intact, so with the broom, his journey would be pretty quick. Or so he thought, he had overestimated the distance to Botes.
He had been flying for over half a day with only small villages coming into view. And he constantly flew too close to the trees to avoid patrols. When he got hungry, he landed in a clearing and hunted two rabbits. He couldn't cook, so he was forced to eat them raw. Dangerous for most but not him, due to his ancestry. "Would still kill for some cooked chicken. Night's falling, so I can go on without a hitch," he said, but still waited to watch the sundown.
As he went on, he realized there were still quite a few patrols out, most likely wouldn't be able to see him in this darkness, but he still went high and above the clouds. There weren't many things that made him smile these days, but the sight of the shining moon above the moon made him feel like a child again. H zoned out, remembering the times his uncle and...that man, would bring him and his brother up here as kids. Speaking of his past, how did he know about what happened. before he could dwell on it, he sensed multiple people coming towards him from below. "Spotted me eh?" he said, tired.
Jumping off the broom and activating his abilities, he stood in the air with guns. Before he was out of mana and exhausted, but now he was ready. No more asking him for help.
