"Those damm bastards just won't give UP!" Zarrin screamed in frustration, he had been running through the air for 30 minutes straight, hampered further by the rain. "Ugh, if only my arm wasn't fucked up".
He had been caught in a nearby village by bounty hunters, and a mistake cost him the use of his left arm. His low mana meant he had limited options. Even worse, two of them were the worst types of mages to fight in this weather-
"Frost mages!" he growled, "Would these acide pills work faster." His arm was healing, but far too slowly. He gripped his pistol as he sensed one of them getting closer. They had kept their distance, only because they were afraid, but it seemed that illusion was shattered. Thank god he could still sense them despite his drained mana, whispering a silent prayer of thanks for chasseur genes.Though he did have enough mana for a little trick.
A gust of wind passed as one of them flew by on a broom, standing. His hand moved horizontally from his shoulder as icicles formed in front of him, aimed at Zarrin.

"Show Off.." Zarrin muttered before yelling "Explosion Rogue!" A red light flashed at his feet launching him up as he aimed his gun at the mage's head.
The rain drowned out the noise as the mage's body fell to the forest below seeing this the other hunters turn tail and ran, except for two. One dove straight into the woods while the other flew towards him.
"A fight on two fronts huh? Guess all of you aren't spineless!" he yelled at the incoming hunter. "Understand that the two of us won't be as easily disposed as Moret." retorted the incoming hunter. He held up several knives and threw them at Zarrin just as he felt something coming from below.
Quickly he yelled "Explosion Rogue" launching himself higher towards the knife hunter and shooting at his head and heart, but the hunter dodged effortlessly and charged towards him knifves in hand as the one below rises out of the woods with icicles forming around them. One arm injured and almost out of options, he chose something he promised he'd never do again. Calling out to that bastard.
"L’étreinte de la mort" ,he whispered. A tear rolled down his face as he blacked out.
