Shadowspawn Elf Warlock of the Mask

Warlock III

[The Fading Light] (Warlock V, Quest): In the land of eternal twilight, there exists a place where the last rays of light are devoured. Travel there, capture the essence of the Fading Light, and bind it to your own shadow.

[Familiar] (Warlock I, Talent): The warlock has summoned and bonded with a mythical creature that serves as the warlock’s familiar.

[Basic Spellcraft] (Warlock I, Talent): The warlock can cast spells from the first three circles of magic. A warlock with this talent can memorize three spells of the 1st circle, two spells of the 2nd circle, and one spell of the 3rd circle.

[Blood Magic] (Warlock II, Talent): Warlocks can use their life force in addition to their mana to cast spells

[Aura of Dread] (Warlock III, Talent): An unsettling aura surrounds you at will, subtly affecting nearby enemies and sapping their courage. Enemies within close range are slightly more likely to hesitate or misjudge their attacks, giving you a slight edge in combat as they falter under your dark presence.

Elf I

[Distant Memories] (Elf, Quest): Connect with another elf during your travels, rekindling ancient memories and uncovering hidden ties.

[Fey Senses] (Elf I, Talent): Elves have superior perception, blending heightened physical senses with an intuitive connection to magic.

The Mask I

[Fool the Feebleminded] (The Mask, Quest): Use your powers of disguise to manipulate the unsuspecting. Infiltrate groups, deceive your enemies, and secure information or resources through cunning deception.

[Mask of Many Faces] (The Mask I, Talent): You can to spend mana equal to a 2nd circle spell to change subtle features of their appearance.

[Devour the Weak] (Shadowspawn, Quest): Find the remaining fragments of the Dark One scattered across the realm. Destroy the weak who bear his essence and consume it.

[Dark One's Shadow] (Shadowspawn I, Talent): As an inheritor of the Dark One’s essence, a Shadowspawn is immortal and does not age past their prime. They also require less food, water, and air to survive. In turn, they bear the marks of their spiritual predecessor upon their bodies.

[Siphon of the Abyss] (Shadowspawn II, Talent): Tap into the power of your corrupted heritage to drain life essence from nearby enemies, dealing a moderate amount of damage and lightly healing yourself with each target you drain. This ability is particularly effective against creatures who share your heritage.

[Embrace of the Abyss] (Shadowspawn III, Talent): Shadows strengthen you. When in darkness or shadow, you gain a moderate increase to your physical abilities. You also become difficult to detect with both physical and magical senses as long as you’re in darkness.

Titles

[Master of the Vault]: Bestowed upon you by the mighty Grimoire, last creation of the Archmage Aughra, this title marks you as a true keeper of lost knowledge and forgotten relics. You will always know in what direction your vault lies and the best path to get there, and you have a second sense for finding valuable items and equipment.

[Lord of Nothing]: Mockingly bestowed upon you by your former servant and ally Nocturne, you are marked as one who wanders lost, forgotten by both allies and enemies. You have lost everything and everyone you have ever known and will be forced to wander, struggling to claim anything, rejected by enemies and allies alike.

[Eater]: Bestowed by the troll Graul, this title marks you as one who consumes what others would discard, taking strength from the remnants. When encountered by the lost and discarded things of the world, you are compelled to examine what remains, often finding insights or secrets hidden within. When you consume the essence of an enemy, you gain a brief but potent surge of energy, temporarily enhancing your body, mind, and spirit, and sometimes catching glimpses of their final memories or emotions.

Spells

[Essence Transfer] (1st Circle): The user can transfer a small amount of health or mana to or from a willing target.

[Burn the Weak] (1st Circle): You conjure a small, searing flame that targets weaker creatures within range, igniting and inflicting fire damage. This spell is especially effective against vulnerable or injured enemies, dealing additional damage to those already weakened.

Equipment

[Selene’s Dagger] (Fine): A sturdy, well-crafted dagger.

[Traveller's Spellbook] (Average): A simple spellbook of middling quality. It has a strap, allowing the wielder to carry it with ease.

1st Circle Spells

[Arcane Light]: A simple spell to conjure a glowing orb, illuminating dark paths for a limited duration.

[Stone Shield]: Summons a small barrier of stone in front of the caster, offering brief protection from minor attacks.

[Ember]: Launches a small flame projectile toward an enemy, enough to cause minor burns or ignite flammable objects.

[Swift Step]: Temporarily enhances the caster's speed, useful for quick escapes or covering short distances faster.

2nd Circle Spells

[Mirror Image]: Creates several illusionary duplicates of the caster.

[Gust]: Summons a controlled burst of wind, useful for pushing back enemies or clearing light obstacles.

[Arcane Bolt]: Fires a bolt of magical force, dealing moderate damage to enemies.

3rd Circle Spell

[Flaming Sphere]: Conjures a medium-sized rolling sphere of fire that the caster can control for a limited time, dealing significant burn damage to anything in its path.
