The progression and plot are intended to be slow, interspersed with adventure, exploration, mystery, and romantic elements. I always wanted to tell a story set in a traditional fantasy world but from the perspective of one of the hero's enemies. What do they do in their day-to-day life? What are their goals? Even bad guys pet dogs from time to time. That's my goal here. I also want to write a story where the "bad guy" slowly realizes what it's like for the people on the ground. The normal people.
