Loly Guoguo (part two)

Loly Guoguo (part two)

The little girl saw Ye Tianxie, and her pitch-black eyes immediately brightened, sparkling like two little stars. "Eee-ya-ya, are you my master? Oh la la, it seems like you're not what I imagined! I thought my master would be a strange uncle with a big beard!"

"Why?" Ye Tianxie asked stiffly, the three words popping out of his mouth. He didn’t even know why he asked that.

"Because I'm such a cute little loli, if a strange uncle were my master, he would definitely spoil me and give me delicious food... Huh? Oh..." The little girl opened her mouth, bit her finger, and thought hard for a while before her eyes suddenly lit up. "Ah, oh la! It's something called a lollipop!"

Ye Tianxie's expression twitched, and a feeling of tightness settled in his chest.

"Eee-ya-ya, master, my name is Guoguo, the cutest and most obedient little loli in the world. What’s your name, master? Oh la la! You don’t need to tell me, the smartest loli Guoguo already knows. Your name is Xie Tian. Oh la la, what a strange name." The little girl gracefully spun in the air, as though showing off her adorable body to Ye Tianxie. She was very small, and upon closer inspection, her tiny face was incredibly delicate. Her cuteness was flawless, presenting a perfect beauty untouched by any imperfection, free from the dust of the mundane world. Her slender figure, and beneath her skirt, two delicate little feet dangled naturally, with skin as smooth as snow from her calves to her toes. Her tiny toes looked like they were dusted with pearl powder.

Guoguo... your name is the strange one! Ye Tianxie thought bitterly to himself. Then, turning the question around, he asked, "Who are you?"

Where did she come from? A hidden monster? No, I've used the detection spell, and it didn’t return any information. A hidden NPC? Could there be such an exasperating NPC? Also, the light earlier—she seemed to have floated out of this strange pendant that appeared out of nowhere.

"Oh la la, I already said, I’m Guoguo, the cutest and most obedient little loli in the world," the little girl floated closer to Ye Tianxie, gently drifting forward. Then, with her eyes sparkling like diamonds, she asked, "Master, can you give me a lollipop?"

"Do you know what a lollipop is?"

"Oh la, I don’t know."

"…Then why do you still want one?" Ye Tianxie almost broke down. This was the world of Destiny, where there wouldn’t be such a thing as a lollipop. Moreover, there was an indescribable strangeness about this little girl...

"Huh? But she told me that lollipops are the favorite food of lolis. And I’m the cutest little loli in the world, Guoguo, so I really want to eat one... Master, you’re my master! Having such a cute little loli, of course, you should love me and pamper me well," the little girl said with an innocent expression.

Ye Tianxie: "…Who is she?"

This book was originally published on Royal Road. Check it out there for the real experience.

"Oh la la! I won’t tell you!" The little girl replied briskly.

"…"

"Alright." Ye Tianxie stepped out of the wild wolf territory, saying as he walked, "Answer a few of my questions, and I’ll give you a lollipop."

"Wow! Really? What questions does master want to ask?" The little girl floated happily behind him, excitedly waving her arms.

"Why do you call me 'master'?" Ye Tianxie asked.

"Because you’re my master!" Guoguo blinked and answered.

Three wavy black lines appeared on Ye Tianxie’s forehead. He forced himself to stay calm and asked, "Then why should I become your master?"

"Because you’re the first person Guoguo saw. The first person Guoguo sees is Guoguo's master!"

The first person she saw? Ye Tianxie replayed the scene of how this little girl appeared in his mind... Could she really have come out from the things she left for him? Then why did it appear here again... What hidden meaning is there behind all of this?

"Did you come out of here?" Ye Tianxie stopped and picked up the black pendant hanging on his chest. From the side, he could see that its black surface emitted seven faint glows from top to bottom.

"Oh la la, yes, master saw it clearly," the little girl answered.

"Then why were you inside? What exactly is this thing?" Ye Tianxie raised the pendant and held it up in front of Guoguo. Its strange shape and colors had made him try to uncover its secrets before, simply because it was the thing she left for him. That’s why he never let it out of his sight.

"Oh la, I don’t know. Does master know?" The little girl asked with an innocent look on her face.

You know, and I still ask you... Ye Tianxie thought to himself bitterly. He couldn't help but think, it's a good thing that I'm the one standing here; if it were someone else in this situation, who knows how they would react.

"Then what do you know?" Ye Tianxie said, his face filled with helplessness, his gaze lingering on the pitch-black pendant in his palm. He had once desperately hoped to discover something hidden inside it, perhaps some kind of text, so that he could understand the reason for her departure, even if it was just a clue.

There are many things in the world that can't be explained by logic, and many things that are so mysterious they can't be understood. Like his encounter with her, her departure, and now... the appearance of this strange little girl. His astonishment only lasted for a short time before he began trying to find the reason behind it. Perhaps this incredible situation before him was somehow connected to the answers he longed to know.

However, it was obvious that this seemingly gullible little girl who kept calling him "master" wasn't as easy to fool as she appeared. No matter how cute and innocent she looked, her ever-moving eyes betrayed her little cleverness... or perhaps, her little cunning.

"What do I know... mmm." Guoguo fiddled with her fingers, tilted her little face in thought, and then said vaguely, "I know... if master thinks 'Moment of Fate' in his heart, something incredible will happen!"

Ye Tianxie's brows twitched. "Moment of Fate," that phrase seemed familiar. He closed his eyes slightly and softly thought to himself, Moment of Fate!

The strange pendant in his hand suddenly flashed with a dim white light for a brief moment. Then, in his widened eyes, it rapidly enlarged, growing larger and larger...

A heavy sensation came from his hand, and Ye Tianxie stared blankly, his gaze fixed on the enormous object in his hand. It still had the same irregular, elongated shape, the same seven differently shaped holes surrounding it, and the same dull rainbow-colored light reflecting off it, but its size had grown far beyond what it had been. With a width of nearly 30 centimeters, it was larger than almost any weapon, and its length was nearly equal to Ye Tianxie’s height. The original pendant cord had mysteriously not snapped, hanging empty around his neck, while the part that had connected the cord was now firmly gripped in his hand, like holding the hilt of a strange weapon.

This is...
