In front of them were two curved pillars rising upward and meeting at the top. It was the Gate. It was able to send people anywhere in the world. Anom was going to use this to leave this place.
At the moment, they were standing on top of a small mountain. Anom looked up and saw a structure shining on top of the tallest peak, which, according to Della, was a part of her palace, built on the edge of the cliff.
The Gate extended to the full width of the mountain top. Anom looked at this simple structure and wondered how exactly it would teleport him away.
"Welcome, Mother Goddess!" A voice was heard as they reached the front of the Gate. They saw a lady standing in front of the Gate, welcoming their arrival.
She was tall, almost as tall as Anom. With dark-brown hair, an oval face, and beautiful features. She was wearing a sleeveless black crop top and slim-fit black leggings, enhancing her slender figure. There were some golden symbols drawn on her clothes.
"She's Lizi. She's a master of formations and manages the Gate. Lizi, meet Anom. He'll be using the gate today to descend to the lower world." Della introduced them as Lizi nodded at Anom without saying anything.
Anom nodded back. He was used to evaluating people, so he identified her as someone who was dedicated to her craft. Della had explained to him the formations on the way here. A formation was made up of various energy symbols arranged in a manner that used the laws to manipulate energy. In a sense, it was similar to how someone manipulates energy within his or her body. A formation manipulates energy to complete tasks that might not be possible or difficult to achieve for a single individual. But that will be a topic for the future.
They walked towards the Gate as Lizi waved her hands, and the Gate started making a buzzing noise. A glow covered the area as multi-colored lines started appearing from the Gate, covering the ground. The lines weaved together to make a complicated circular formation. Anom felt dizzy just from taking a glance. He was also excited that he would be able to use a teleportation formation, which had only been part of his fantasies back on Earth.
"The formation is up and working. Please select the destination." Lizi reported.
Della had already thought of the place as she instructed, "Select the Core Planet, the temple in Nulis City, Zemor Continent."
Lizi nodded as she waved her hands to make adjustments.
Della went in front of Anom and looked at his face for a while. She then said, "The Nulis City used to be a major town situated between various mortal kingdoms. It is a peaceful place, and it will be easy for you to get used to the new planet and start your journey from that location." She paused before asking, "Are you sure you only need a day's worth of food? I can give you a storage bag. You will be able to hold enough food and won't have to worry for a long time."
This tale has been pilfered from Royal Road. If found on Amazon, kindly file a report.
Anom looked at her worried expression as he smiled and said, “Don't worry, it won't be a problem.” He assured her, "You will be able to see for yourself."
Della nodded as he reminded him, "Remember to rest regularly and contact me only when you are in a safe place where you can easily concentrate. And don't act before understanding the situation. The rules there would be different from what you are used to in your world."
"Don't worry. You can ask anybody on Earth about how dutifully I followed all the rules." Anom replied with an honest and innocent expression.
"Hmph! It'd be a miracle if a thief like you didn't break the first law you came across." Cassana scoffed at the side, while Della just smiled.
"Mother Goddess, it's ready!" Lizi said as she gestured for Anom to go inside the formation.
Della and Anom looked at each other. Della was fidgety as she glanced at Lizi and Cassana.
Anom chuckled as he spoke: “Cassana, did you tell Lizi about the special device I told you about?”
"Maybe she can help you make one, and you won't have to worry about collecting wood for cooking anymore."
Cassana's eyes opened wide as she remembered Anom telling her about a device—a microwave oven. Anom explained to her how it manipulates microwaves to heat up the food. Although such a concept was nothing much to experts such as them who were adept at manipulating energy, to Cassana, it was a divine invention, saving her from the work of chopping firewood.
She quickly got near Lizi and started her explanation. She didn't bother to pay attention to anything else.
Anom acted quickly. He pulled Della closer and covered her lips with his own. She wanted to break free, but Anom held her tightly, and only after a while did he let go of her.
Meanwhile, Lizi, who was listening to Cassana's description, had a strange expression on her face. She was stunned for a while before her face turned red.
"What happened, Lizi? Is there anything you don't understand? Let me ask Anom to explain it to you directly." Cassana saw Lizi's strange expression and thought that Lizi was having trouble understanding her explanation.
When she turned to ask Anom to do it for her, she saw Della standing with a red face.
"What happened? Is it the weather? But only Mother God and I should be affected if there's anything. Then why is Lizi's face also red? She hasn't suppressed her power like us." Cassana was getting more and more confused.
"Ahem. Uh, I should go now. Cassana, come here for a moment." Anom now understood that Lizi was not suppressing her energy like Della and Cassana and sensed what he was doing with Della. But he was quite thick-skinned, so he didn't mind.
Cassana walked in front of Anom and looked at him in confusion.
Suddenly, he leaned forward and embraced Cassana lightly, saying, "Thank you for being stupid. And thanks for bringing me here." He quickly backed off and walked inside the formation.
Cassana stood there, staring blankly at nothing. After a moment, her expression changed as she shouted, "Who are you calling stupid?" Her face was red. It was unknown whether it was because of anger or embarrassment.
"Goodbye! We will meet again soon!" Anom said as he took in the sight of three beauties standing there with a red face.
The formation blinked as he vanished from there.
"Mother Goddess, is he the Father God?" Lizi asked Della after a long while.
"We're going back!" Della covered her face as she ran down the mountain while calling out to Cassana.
“He hugged me! He called me stupid! He hugged me! He called me stupid.” Cassana followed after Della as she kept muttering, her expression alternating between anger and embarrassment.
*Sigh…*
Lizi looked at these weird girls and shook her head before saying, "How did he ruin a goddess in two days and a spirit angel in a second? He's too scary." Lizi shivered. Then she thought of the moment between Della and Anom, and her face started heating up again. She shook her head and vanished from there.
