Chapter - 18 Enchantress

Chapter - 18 Enchantress

“We’re going?” Merial asked, looking up as Rin approached her.

“Yeah,” Rin began, “Cole’s all healed up, but he’s still sleeping”

The elf let out a sigh of relief, “Thank goodness, Alana really is amazing.”

‘No kidding, an enchanter and a healer,” Rin thought, amused.

Merial gathered her items and the two walked up the bridge to meet the rest of the party.

Alana held her wooden staff in hand while Jamie carried the unconscious Cole on his back.

“Alright,” Jamie looked up at the two, “Let’s go.”

The party set off, walking across the bridge until they reached the collapsed section that spanned just over twenty metres.

Not wasting any time, the elf activated a skill that shrouded her body in an aura of wind. While Rin had a surprised look appear on her face as she instantly recognized what kind of ability it was.

‘Zephyr’s Gale...?’ she thought, ‘But how? That’s a level 50 skill.’

However, Rin quickly took back her question. She had the frost-blink skill that was also usually accessed at level 50. Although her class ‘Heiress of Ice’ also wasn’t something that she had ever seen recorded. Which arose another two questions in her mind, just what the elf’s class was and just how ‘normal’ this party was.

Shaking her head, she looked up to watch the elf’s performance.

Merial took off without a hitch as she sprinted towards the chasm. Jumping upwards with an elegant grace as she cleared the stretch in one clean movement.

“Impressive,” Jamie smiled before looking over to Rin, “Are you able to take Cole or do you want me to take two trips?”

“I can take him,” she replied.

“Alright, good luck,” the man handed the boy over to her and stood off to the side with the healer.

“Do you want me to buff her?” Alana whispered as Rin prepared for the jump.

The man contemplated for a second, “No, we should see what she can do. Think about it, she showed up to the city. Not knowing anything about the language but is still at this level of combat.”

“But she hasn’t done anything,” Alana argued.

“Yet. She hasn’t done anything yet. But I haven’t sensed any ulterior motives from her.”

“Which is?”

“It’s a good and a bad thing,” Jamie replied, “But she seems more aloof than anything, like a tourist visiting from afar.”

“Which is?”

“A good and a bad thing.”

“...”

Meanwhile, Rin tucked the boy beside her and held him close to her waist with one arm. She looked forward at the bridge’s collapse before glancing down at the boy’s face.

“Just keep sleeping,” she whispered.

Drawing a quick breath into her lungs, she stepped down hard and dashed forward. The ground trembled beneath her feet as she gained speed and just before she reached the edge, she launched upwards fracturing the edge of the bridge.

However, when she reached the apex of her jump, the boy stirred beneath her arm.

“Ugh... where am I?” the boy muttered drowsily.

“Had a good sleep?” Rin chuckled. “Look down.”

Groggily, Cole shifted his gaze downwards and was met with a fiery abyss.

“What the?!”

His eyes widened in fear, and he turned to look at the girl. But what he saw sent an even greater shiver down his spine.

“Welcome to Rin Airlines,” she grinned and threw the boy overheard towards the opposite side.

“Ahhhhhhhhhh!”

Immediately after, a magic circle materialized in her hand which sent a dagger hurtling past the boy and embedded itself into the stone of the bridge.

Activating her frost-blink spell, she teleported to the dagger’s position and looked up at the boy that was heading her way.

“Just like that dungeon...” she muttered, using the moment to think about the place where she had met Bob.

She held her arms out and just a second later, the boy fell into her arms.

“That was... odd,” the ranger walked up next to her with a comment.

“It was the onl-”

“Hey, let me go!” The boy interrupted with a shout as he wriggled out of the girl’s embrace.

“Was it the only way?” The ranger snickered as Rin shook her head with a sigh.

Meanwhile, Jamie and Alana stood at the other side of the chasm, looking at the trio.

‘Just what are her stats at level 23?’ Jamie thought.

Strength: (10 + 25 + 100) * 2

Endurance: (40 + 25 + 100) * 2

Vitality: (35 + 25 + 100) * 5

Wisdom: (215 + 20 + 100) * 5

Intelligence: (225 + 20 + 100) * 2

Agility: (185 + 60 + 100) * 2

Of course, he couldn’t see her stats and could only resort to speculation.

“Hey, are you going to take me yet?”

“Sorry,” Jamie replied as he was interrupted out of his thoughts and scooped the healer up into a bridal carry.

“Ready?” he asked as Alana nodded.

The man took off with a sprint and effortlessly cleared the jump without using any skills.

“Great, everyone made it safely,” The elf began before looking over to the castle gates, “But it looks like we have a slight problem.”

Standing on both sides of the entrance, there were two four metre tall humanoid monsters holding the position. Their bodies were made entirely of a dark obsidian stone and were covered with glowing red-hot cracks that pulsated as if they were breathing.

One of the monsters had a slimmer body and with thin jagged arms that narrowed into the edges of two white-hot blades. While the other monster had a thicker body along with two wider arms that ended in the shape of hammers.

[Infernal Guard Golem – lvl 40]

HP: 250,000/250,000

[Infernal Guard Golem – lvl 40]

HP: 350,000/350,000

“Same formation as before,” Jamie explained, “But this time, Cole, I want you to distract the bigger one. Just prioritize your safety above everything, we don’t know what they can do.”

“Got it.”

The party nodded in understanding and dispersed into the formation.

Jamie pulled out a pole different from the one he used to spar with Rin and Cole brought out a massive hammer nearly three times his size. Effortlessly brandishing the weapon in one arm.

While Alana clutched a wooden staff with her right hand and Merial drew a large wooden longbow that Rin had seen during their encounter in the forest.

As for armor, Jamie equipped a light leather that allowed him a wide degree of freedom and Cole equipped a different identical set to the one that had melted earlier.

The three others didn’t equip anything as they weren’t going to be in melee range of the creatures. Although, they still had the bonus stats from their equipment activated.

‘Going to need some better armor,’ she thought, looking at the pitiful level ten gear that she had gained from the ice forest dungeon.

Regardless, she hoped that this dungeon would bear some fruit.

Initiating the fight, Alana chanted several incomprehensible words as Rin felt a warm feeling flow into her body.

[Wisdom UP]

[Intelligence UP]

She grinned as her two respective stats doubled in power. With Alana’s buffs, Rin thought herself as strong as a level 40.

“Cole, you ready?” Jamie asked.

“Yup,” he smiled and held his hammer high above his head.

Jamie exploded off of the ground and rushed towards the blade golem with Cole just a couple seconds behind.

The man scraped his pole on the ground, causing sparks to appear as he jumped and swung upwards, smashing the blade golem in the face.

Fragments of obsidian flew into the air from the collision, but the monster appeared to be unfazed from the attack.

‘Tough one huh,’ Rin thought, knowing that the man’s attack was by no means weak.

Seconds later, Cole swung his hammer towards the hammer golem’s torso as the creature lifted its arm to block the attack.

Bang!

A loud sound rang out from the impact as the blow sent the golem reeling back. Rin even saw a small fracture forming at the base of its elbow.

However, the golem also noticed the injury and glared at the boy with fiery fury. It stomped down hard on the ground. Lurching forward as it’s arm raised high in the air.

‘Not here you won’t,’ Rin narrowed her eyes.

Readying her mana, she raised one arm as a magic circle appeared in front of her, shooting out an enormous lance straight towards the golem.

Boom!

The lance struck the creature's elbow, stopping its attack for a single second to allow Cole to dodge.

“Thanks!” Cole shouted once he had reached safety.

On the other hand, Jamie along with Merial’s supporting fire were going blow for blow against the blade hand golem. The two of them stringed their attacks in unison against the golem as if they were one.

However, the elf’s arrows weren’t doing much else other than creating opportunities for the man. Which wasn’t a bad thing except that Merial wasn’t too happy.

Instead, she muttered a word under her breath before her eyes gleamed golden. Now, her arrows left her bow with a golden aura and were inflicting deep dents into the golem’s bodies. Even pushing the creature backwards slightly.

For now, Rin couldn’t spot any opportunities where the two needed help and kept her eyes peeled on the boy.

Looking to her side, Alana had been focusing mostly on Cole as he was slowly being pushed back by the hammer golem.

Seeing this, Rin started to freeze the ground around the hammer golem’s legs causing the golem’s movement to slow. Which eased the pressure on Cole as he kited the golem away from the party.

After that, Rin focused her attention on the place where Cole had created the fracture in the golem’s arm.

‘Let’s see...’

Creating a magic circle above her, three lances were sent out in quick succession as they hurtled towards the point.

If you discover this narrative on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen. Please report the violation.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Every single one of the lances struck true against the fracture, causing the crack to widen and spread uncontrollably.

Looking towards her, the golem paused its attention on the boy and roared her way.

‘Idiot.’

Unfortunately for the monster, it would be its downfall as it had created an opening for Cole.

The boy activated a skill, energy surged around his arm before the entirety of his hammer was engulfed in flames.

Smash!

His hammer tore into the monster’s arm, severing a massive chunk of the obsidian and left the golem an amputee.

Rin knew that the boy’s fight would be significantly easier and turned her attention back towards the blade golem.

She saw that the golem’s attacks were increasing in intensity and that both Jamie and Merial were starting to get pushed back.

‘How about this...’

Immediately, a trail of ice shot off from her feet, heading straight towards the golem’s legs. But the golem simply stepped out of the way before resuming its onslaught.

“Really?” Rin scowled, wondering why a four metre tall golem could move like this.

Merial faced the same problem as herself, the golem was just far too agile for their attacks to effectively land.

Meanwhile, the creature continued to battle. Pushing back the fighter all the while dodging the ranged attacks that could seriously injure its body.

Until suddenly, Jamie was forced to jump backwards, not only to take a quick breath but also to reassess the situation. However, once he saw that there was nothing that he could do, he leaped back into the fray to draw away the golem’s ire.

The fight raged on, each side looking for an opportunity to gain ground on the other. Although with Alana, Merial and Rin supporting the man, the golem couldn’t find any purchase.

However, the party also weren’t able to do significant damage against the golems. Both of them were well above 80% of their health even though they had been fighting for several minutes.

‘This isn’t going to work...’ Rin thought.

At this rate, they would tire long before the monsters would go down. Thus, Rin turned towards the elf while keeping an eye on the fight.

“Merial! Do you have any high damage burst skills?!” Rin shouted, quickly creating a block of ice in front of Jamie to deflect an attack.

“I do!” The elf responded, “But I need to charge the skill and get a clear shot!”

“How long?!”

“Fifteen seconds!” came the reply.

‘Fifteen seconds... can he hold for that long?’ Rin thought, watching Jamie’s movements.

[Infernal Guard Golem (Blade) – lvl 40]

HP: 215,000/250,000

[Infernal Guard Golem (Hammer) – lvl 40]

HP: 290,000/350,000

“Cole! Jamie!” Can you group up the golems and hold them for 15 seconds?!”

“15?!” Jamie shouted, ducking under a swing.

“Yes!”

The man vaulted backwards, creating space between the creature before looking over to the boy.

“Think we can do it Cole?”

“Yeah!” Cole replied and started to run towards the man with the hammer golem hot on his heels.

“Alright Merial, start charging,” Rin said as she conjured a pillar of ice five metres tall and created climbing holds for the elf.

Nodding, the elf clambered up the holds and as she reached the top, she closed one eye and aimed towards the center of the golems.

“My turn,” the elf grinned.

Activating a skill, the ranger’s bow began glowing with a faint golden sheen that was slowly going to increase in power after every second. While Alana helped the elf by applying a buff which would speed up the process.

Everything was going according to plan as Rin watched the monsters. The two men had successfully grouped up the creatures and were keeping the monsters in place.

However, the golems had somehow caught on to their plan and their attacks were desperately increasing in speed.

Suddenly, Rin’s eyes widened as she felt a surge of energy emanating from the hammer golem’s core.

"Cole! Watch out!”

Rin quickly created several walls of ice and stacked them in front of the boy just as a fiery beam erupted from the golem’s chest.

The attack melted through her ice and a hot steam rose to the air, but she had managed to lessen its power considerably. However, it still managed to knock the boy out of the formation as his body tumbled towards the ranged members.

“How much longer Merial?” Rin asked calmly, looking on as the golem chased after the boy’s body.

“Seven seconds, but I won’t be able to hit the second golem,” Merial said in a rushed tone.

Hearing the reply, Rin clicked her tongue before drawing her blade.

She then activated the weapons skill, charging the blade with mana as it was instantly wreathed in white.

“Buff my strength, Alana.”

“Huh, aren’t you a mage?” The healer replied with confusion.

“Just do it.”

[Strength UP]

Feeling the buff enter her body, time seemed to slow as she closed her eyes and drew in a deep breath. The loud thudding of the golem echoed in her ears as the faint pulsing of the ranger’s bow hummed in her mind.

‘Now!’

Opening her eyes, they shone red with power as time resumed. Her sword dragged behind her as she shot straight towards the hammer golem that was just about to reach the boy.

Boom!

Her feet slammed against the golem’s torso just as its hammer was about to smash the boy into the ground. Stabbing deep into the golem’s heart, she bent her knees, legs flexed with power as she pressed off. Launching the golem towards its kin, and herself spinning back into the air.

But she didn’t relent.

Teleporting to the embedded sword, she halted her backwards momentum. Her body hovered in the air as she stared into the creature’s eyes. They were pure white, filled with a burning desire to protect its home.

"Pathetic.”

Then she swung down.

Her sword vibrated with her mana as she cleaved into the golem’s skull.

URAAAGH!

Roaring in pain, the golem stumbled several steps backwards and tried to throw her off.

But she didn’t let it rest for even a moment.

Summoning a blade of ice into her left hand, she slashed at its neck. Unfortunately, even with all the buffs placed on her, her ice wasn’t able to cut through the obsidian and sever its head.

Frowning, she opted for a different tactic and dismissed her second blade. Placing both hands on the Boreas Fang, she pushed downwards with all her strength and once the only thing that could be seen was the hilt, she unleashed her mana.

Frozen energy rushed from the blade. Erupting out of the golem’s skull in a series of spikes before she vaulted off its body, leaving her sword embedded in the creature’s skull.

Landing on the ground, she engulfed her fist in ice and re-engaged with the creature. Jumping upwards she delivered a haymaker of a blow to its chest, knocking the golem into the ranger’s kill zone.

‘Two seconds,’ she thought, the timer in the back of her mind constantly reminding her of the ranger’s attack that was to come.

But it wouldn’t be that easy. The hammer golem’s torso opened outwards and its whole body gleamed with a red light. Lurching back towards her, the golem swung its remaining arm at her head.

Swoosh!

Rin bent backwards; her body nearly parallel to the ground as she felt the obsidian rush over her face just near inches away.

‘Bastard,’ she clicked her tongue.

Springing back up, she grabbed the handle of her blade. Ripping it out of the golem’s skull before releasing a flurry of slashes to its side.

Shiiiing!

The blade screamed with frozen destruction as her attacks left huge lacerations of ice behind in its obsidian body. Looking at its body, the number of fiery veins in its body paled in comparison to the number of its icy wounds.

The golem filled with frustration, kicked towards her, but the girl was too nimble. She threw her blade directly upward as it re-embedded itself into the base of its head. But as the kick came flying towards her, the girl was gone.

Rin teleported up towards the sword and ripped the blade upwards out of its skull, cleaving the stone into two.

‘One.’

Hearing the distant humming of destruction, she kicked off its head and tucked into a backflip. Her eyes met the elf’s who stood on a pillar of ice, holding a bow drawn with an enormous golden arrow the size of a large spear.

Responding with a silent nod, the elf released her delicate hold on the drawstring.

Heralding death, the arrow spiraled through the air towards the two golems.

BOOOOOOOM!!

The golems shattered into pieces as soon as the arrow impacted the area. And as Rin heard two dings in the back of her mind, she confirmed that the golems were defeated and that they had won the fight.

Landing on the ground, she looked around the battlefield. Dust billowed through the air, lifted from the ranger’s destructive attack while the ground near the castle gates was covered in fractures.

Jamie was sent flying back from the shockwave and landed near the edge of the bridge, but otherwise he was fine. As for Alana, the healer found herself once again tending to the boy.

Perhaps they had given Cole too much of a responsibility.

Rin walked up to the elf who had dropped to one knee, the ranger’s breathing shallow from the toll of the skill.

“Nice work,” she gave a thumbs up to the elf who looked up at her approaching steps.

“Nice work? Are you kidding me?” The elf exclaimed, “What the hell was that? What kind of mage can just do that kind of shit.”

Hearing the elf’s questioning words, Rin froze in place. She knew the elf had reason for her suspicions as a level 23 mage shouldn’t be able to fight at that level. But the girl wasn’t too keen on giving her only realistic answer, her reincarnation.

“Mmm... how about we go check what those golems had,” she evaded the question.

“Haaa.... you can tell us later,” the elf sighed. “At least we won.”

As the party gathered themselves, they walked over to the now blown apart golems. The magma dripping from their bodies had now solidified and released a pungent stench into the air.

“You guys want to harvest their bodies or just look for items?” Rin asked.

Jamie placed a finger on his lip and thought for a moment, “It’ll be a little tough, but they’ll probably fetch a decent price.”

Nodding, Rin walked over to the golems and used her ice to fully cool down the corpses.

“Cole, you're up.”

“Got it,” the boy cheerfully replied.

The little smith brought out a set of tools from his inventory and began chiseling away at the hammer golem's limbs. While the others set off on the blade golem.

Crawling atop its body, Rin looked at the battered exterior of the golem's body. Marks from the fierce exchange with the fighter lay everywhere the eye could see.

‘Alright, let’s get started.’

Creating a pickaxe, Rin immediately went to work, striking into the center of the golem in search of sweet, sweet loot.

And several minutes later, the group had completely dissected both the golems into chunks and placed their findings on top of an ice table.

“Phew...” Jamie announced, wiping the sweat from his brow, "Looks like we got quite the haul.”

“Four magma cores, two rare quality items, and a shit ton of obsidian,” Merial listed the items.

‘Not too bad,’ Rin thought.

The armor and the magma cores were already a solid reward, while the obsidian was simply an added bonus.

If they managed it right, merchants and smiths would come scrambling to their feet to purchase the raw material.

“Alright, let’s see what we got here,” Jamie said, picking up the orbs before passing them around to the party members.

[Obsidian Chest Plate - (lvl 40 Rare Quality)]

Defense: 250 Durability: 100%

Vitality: +200

Strength: +150

Requirements: Level 40, 300 Strength, 300 Vitality

[Obsidian Helmet - (lvl 40 Rare Quality)]

Defense: 150 Durability: 100%

Vitality: +100

Strength: +50

Requirements: Level 40, 300 Strength, 300 Vitality

Examining the pieces, Rin found that she didn’t meet any of the requirements, thus she looked at the one person who did.

“Yo, Cole.”

“Huh?”

The boy looked up at her voice and the girl grinned a little.

“Catch,” she tossed the orbs towards him.

“Eh?!”

The boy stumbled forwards as he almost failed to catch the two orbs.

“What am I supposed to do with these?” he said, bringing the items up to his eyes.

“Wear it?” Rin tilted her head, not understanding his hesitation.

“But what about you guys?” Cole asked, “Won’t it be unfair?”

Looking dumbfounded, Rin panned her gaze over the rest of the party.

“You think anyone else can wear those? Trust me, you earned it.”

“Okay,” the boy finally relented.

Rin watched silently as two pieces of armor appeared in the boy’s hands. A curved obsidian helmet and a chest plate to pair.

“Wow! This is great!” The boy grinned, equipping the armor as it morphed to fit his shape.

Immediately, Rin felt the pressure from the boy increase. The difference that the attributes from the armor created was quite stark.

“Why didn’t I get anything...” Merial muttered.

Hearing the elf’s barely audible lament, Rin let out a chuckle to herself.

Despite knowing how Merial felt, she knew that the elf had gained the most out of anyone in the party.

Experience, it was the only thing that really mattered in this world since it couldn’t be given any sort of monetary value.

‘As for that, let’s see what changed,’ she thought, walking a short distance from the party, ‘Status.’

Name: Rin

Titles: [Collapsed]

Race: Hum-{Error}

Class: Heiress of Ice, Seraphim of the Night

Level: 25

HP: 8,400/16,000

MP: 3,400/33,500

[Attribute Multipliers: Protection of Ice (Effectiveness of All stats Doubled)]

Strength: (10 + 25 + 100) * 2

Endurance: (40 + 25 + 100) * 2

Vitality: (35 + 25 + 100) * 5

Wisdom: (215 + 20 + 100) * 5

Intelligence: (225 + 20 + 100) * 2

Agility: (185 + 60 + 100) * 2

Unassigned stat points: 100

‘Two levels, not bad.’

She assumed that she would have received a little more as there was nearly a 20-level difference between herself and the golems.

Regardless, she placed 85 points into her wisdom as it would be the most efficient due to her class and the multipliers. While for the rest, she placed into agility. Having more speed would never do her wrong.

‘Nice,’ she thought, satisfied with the result as she closed out of the status page.

Feeling a tinge of curiosity, she decided to test something out. She summoned a gleaming dagger into existence and with a flick of her wrist, she twirled the icy edge around the tip of her finger.

‘Hmm...’

She shifted the dagger from her finger and let it hover over the palm of her hand. Focusing on the ice she channeled her mana into the air and willed it to spin.

And just as she had wished, the dagger started to spin. Slowly at first, before speeding up until it became a blur.

“Seems like you’re enjoying yourself,” a voice came from the side while Rin didn’t even have to look to see who it was.

It was the elf.

“So... whatcha doin,” Merial asked.

“Nothing much,” Rin replied, not taking her eyes off the dagger in her hand, “Just running some tests.”

She found that placing her points into wisdom increased her mana pool which was a minimum. But it also improved and helped her control over her mana. Causing the experiment to consume far less energy as well as the mana springing to life far quicker than earlier.

‘Maybe it was the multipliers,’ she thought, dismissing the dagger and turning her head up to look at the elf for the first time.

“What’s up?”

“We’re just taking a break for now,” Merial replied. “Alana made some food if you want to join us for a quick lunch.”

“I’m fin-” but her stomach betrayed her thoughts with a grumble. “...Alright, I’ll take you up on that offer.”

The ranger let out a laugh, “Then it’s settled.”

Following Merial back to the party, she received a foil wrapped sandwich from the healer.

“Enjoy the meal.”

“Thank you,” Rin replied.

Conjuring a chair with her ice, she sat down along with the rest of the party. She crossed her legs, leaning back in her chair before she started to nibble on her sandwich.

“So, what did you get after reaching level forty?” Jamie’s voice rang throughout the air, carrying a tone of curiosity.

“I got a new skill,” Merial began, but her voice had a tinge of disappointment, “But it only lets me see things closer...”

“Why do you sound so sad?” he asked. “That’s sounds pretty good to me.”

The elf paused for a second, taking a bite from her sandwich.

“Because it’s useless,” she sulked, her voice muffled.

“...”

Meanwhile, Rin took out a glass of her favorite drink and downed the liquid in a single gulp.

“Merial,” Rin called out to the elf whose face was buried in their hands.

“What?”

“Take your bow out.”

Merial turned her head up to look at the girl for the first time, revealing the confused look on her face.

“Huh...? My bow, why?” she questioned as Rin released a sigh.

“Just take it out.”

“...Okay.”

The ranger finally relented and summoned her bow into hand as the other party members, interested in what was going on, looked their way.

“Alright, see this glass?” Rin asked as the elf nodded.

Infusing her hand with mana, she then launched the glass spiraling straight towards the elf’s head.

“!!”

Merial barely dove out of the way, dropping her sandwich in the process as she glared at the girl.

“Now use your skill,” Rin smiled, pointing up as a magic circle appeared on the tip of her finger.

“Wh-”

However, the ranger was immediately interrupted by a blast of ice hurtling straight towards her the center of her forehead.

Yet nothing happened.

The ranger had raised her bow faster than the eye could see and released an arrow at the very last second. Shattering the ice into pieces.

‘Sharpshooter’s Focus,’ Rin confirmed her suspicious. ‘This party really isn’t normal...’

Active Skill: [Sharpshooter’s Focus]

Allows user to examine their target in extreme intricate detail.

Cost: 10% of total mana

Cooldown: 60 seconds

Type: Perception Magic

Sharpshooter’s Focus on the surface was a skill that allowed the user to see things as if they were using a magnifying glass. However, there was an aspect of the ability that would slow down the user’s perception. Making it much closer to a skill relating to the concept of time.

“Woah...” Merial muttered.

She glanced down at her hands before looking up at the girl, “How’d you know that?”

“Just a hunch,” Rin shrugged as the elf narrowed her eyes.

“...Yeah sure just a hunch huh,” Merial retorted, sarcasm filling her voice. “I’ll find the truth one day. Mark my words.”

Chuckling, Rin let the words pass through one ear and out the other.

“Anyways,” she stood up and dismissed the chair, “Seems like everyone is finished, shall we get going?”

“She’s right,” Jamie said. “Gather your things and meet me at the entrance.”

Gathering their things, the loot from the golems were placed into Cole’s inventory.

And a minute later, they joined with the man at the gate.

[Open Gate?]
