In this world, there are about thirteen continents. There are Usica, Niurewix, Kruzith, Toroa, Helet, Segura, Mirovia, Almantia, Muryn, Fryural, Traul, Sisini, and Ark Ze.

Our continent is called Ark Ze and in this continent, I lived in the country called Shino. To the east of us is a country called Ezi, to the north is Kaba, and to the west is Zanbe. These four countries control each corner of Ark Ze as well as the sea that surrounding it.

When I got back from school, I told Akari and Handa that I want to learn self-defense. They happily agree to support me, but at the same time they ask if I want to learn some basic swordsmanship and archery.  

My answer was obviously a yes.

So Handa and Akari hired a private tutor that will teach me. The reason why Itchi and Sakura didn’t take the offer is because they already had a class that teaches them, plus they already learn what they wanted to learn when they were little.

My originally planned was to learn self-defense only, but since they offered this generous opportunity I might as well take it. Also the tutor is going to teach me how to use magic tool because I never use one before.

For us non-magic user, the only thing that we can use that is close to magic is called magic tool while magic user can use magic weapon.

And the difference between them are huge. 

For magic weapon, magic user can summon their weapon using mana. Even if their magic weapon break as long as the magic user still have mana.  They can summon it again as if it never break to begin with.

 As for magic tool, it cannot be summon like magic weapon but it can be equip (in form of necklace, bracelet, etc.). To make it even worse is that when magic tool break, you either need to repair it or it’s gone for good. Every time we want to use magic, we must chant the spell that we want to use.

Magic tool also have limited mana store in it(it’s like your battery for your phone), but it can be recharge. Also magic spell can be program into a magic tool, but the difference is that once it’s program. You don’t have to say chanting spell and all you need to do is just call out the name of the move or spell that you are going to use. But the most important of all is that attribute must be program into a magic tool otherwise it won’t work.

For example, if a fire attribute is program into a sword (magic tool) the user can only use fire magic. If there are no attribute inserted into a magic tool, no matter how much mana is store in it. It will never be able to use magic.

Since today is Saturday, my teacher(tutor) is coming to my house. If you haven’t notice yet, the Amino family are quite wealthy. We even have a dojo for occasion like this.

She is also bringing my sword (attribute is fire) and bow(attribute is fire and light) with her too. I am so excited. Kyaaa!!! Nope not gonna yell like that.

Ding dong ding dong

Akari: “Saitou, your teacher is here”

Saitou: “Coming”

I ran downstairs to greet my teacher.

As I opened the door I see no one.

Saitou: “I swear I heard the door ring”

???: “down here”

Saitou: “whoa!”

There was a cute 8 years old kid at my front door.

Saitou: “are you lost, Onee-chan can guide you home”

???: “I am here to teach Saitou Amino and I am not a kid”

Saitou: “…………….”

Akari: “oh my welcome sensei”

Teacher: “Thank you for having me”

Saitou: “…………..”

Akari: “Saitou don’t just stand there, close the door please”

Saitou: “o…okay”

When I closed the door and walked into the living room. Sensei(teacher) was staring at me.

Sensei: “So you are Saitou. Hmmmmmm ……. why are they so big!!!”

Saitou: “what is big?”

Sensei: “nothing!”

Sensei: “ my name is Miki Fukui, from today onward I am going to be your  teacher”

Saitou: “I am in your care sensei”

Fukui: “now let get started”

As we finish greeting each other. We went to the dojo.

Fukui: “here the two weapon you requested”

Sensei then hand the two weapons to me

Fukui: “first off, you should make a blood contract with your two weapons”

Saitou: “blood contract?”

Fukui: “let me explain it to you. Now listen carefully. Blood contract allow you to use your magic tool more efficient. For example, when having a blood contract if you want to protect Itchi or Sakura by using protection spell. The magic tool will protect the people you only want to protect. If you don’t have a blood contract, the magic tool will protect anyone regardless who is your enemy or who isn’t. The reason for that is because it doesn’t know its user and who to protect.  Also if you want to make a intense arrow (focusing mana to make a strong arrow) you will need blood contract. It is pretty much doing what your mind is telling it to do without having to chant the same spell repeatedly.”

Fukui: “now just drip your blood onto the core of your weapons and the blood contract is complete”

I then grabbed a needle and poke my finger just enough so that blood comes out. As soon as the drop of blood touch the core of the weapons. I can feel the mana that is store in the weapon.

Fukui: “almost forgot to tell you. When you complete your blood contract you can tell how much mana is in your weapon without having to check the mana bar on your weapon every time. Plus no one can use your magic tool now since it recognizes you as its user.”

Saitou: “so what happen if someone got a hand on my weapon”

Fukui: “your weapon would act like a normal sword or bow since it’s not you.”

Fukui-sensei took out a book full of magic spell and handed to me. She then told me to memorize some of magic spell that I want to learn.

After looking through the spell book I found three spells that I like. They are fire arrow, light arrow, and light protection spell.

Fukui: “have you pick your spell yet?”

Saitou: “yes”

I then pointed at the three spell I like to Sukui-sensei.

She then created a doll and walked a few distances away from me.

Fukui: “It’s confusing at first, so let demonstrate. I will use a fire blast at that doll over there. You will use a protection spell to protect it. Imagine in your head who you want to protect and that spell will protect them.”

My sword and bow are in the form of a bracelet that I am wearing on my arm. If I want to change the bracelet into a magic tool. I just need to say activate.

Saitou: “bow activate. O gracious goddess of light, protect me now with all thy might. Watch over me and mine with care so that we may avoid dangers snare.”

As I finish chanting, the doll is surrounded in a force field of light.

Fukui: “here I come!!”

As soon as she finished saying that a large fire blast appears out of nowhere and strike the force field.

Boooooooooom!!!!!!!!!!

Saitou: “eh?”

Fukui: “what up with the surprise. Your shield is still standing”

Saitou: “sensei is a magic user!!! I thought sensei was just like me”

Fukui: “quiet down. You must be wondering why I know so much about magic tool since they are inferior to magic weapon and magic user. The reason why I know so much about them is because my daughter is like you”

Saitou: “I see”

In this world if a magic user and a non-magic user have a kid. The chance of having a magic user offspring is 50/50 if their gene is weak. In the other hand if a magic user gene is strong then no matter who they marry their offspring will be a magic user.

Fukui: “I’m going to attack you head on and see if you can defeat me”

Saitou: “wait!”

In an instant fireball was flying toward me. I manage to dodge the first one.

Saitou: “O gracious goddess of light…….eh”

Booooooooom!!!!!!!!

The next thing I know I was already on the floor.

Fukui: “You know why you lost in five second, Saitou. It’s because you haven’t got use to that body yet.”

 Saitou: “what in the world……. how did you know?”

Fukui: “you’re already a girl and yet why are you still moving like a guy in that body? When I took this job, I have Handa and Akari tell me everything about you. Don’t get me wrong, but in order to train my student. I need to know more than just their name that way, I can train them to the fullest.”

Saitou: “I mean it feel really weird you know sensei. I don’t want to move like a girl or do what girl do and I don’t think I will get use to this body. It is just too embarrassing. I know I am a girl now but still”

Fukui: “Are you an idiot!!!!!”

Saitou: “……..”

Fukui: “You know why you will never reach your full potential saitou, it is because you don’t fully accept your female self. You are those stubborn people. Instead of being stubborn why don’t you become smart. Use your new self to your advantage not making it your disadvantage.  Accepting who you are right now is more important than anything else otherwise you will easily get lost and lose confidence. You might say that you accept your female self, then why do you criticize how you act or how you don’t want to be a girl? Those things are not accepting who you are, but just lame excuses. Put your feeling aside because at the end of the day your feeling alone isn’t going to save you, but your resolve will. Even if I were to turn into a guy, I would have mix feeling but I won’t criticize what I do in that form or how I act. Many few people understand that when you turn into the opposite gender you’re not that person no more. You just happen to have that person memories. Saitou Amino is different from Saitou Aki, two people with one memories. Think about it this way what happen if you were born as a girl and then turn into a guy what will you do.  You can’t run away from fate or run away all the time.  This world isn’t friendly. Those who accept the reality will live longer than those who don’t. This is survival of the fittest. Stop putting your old perspective into your new one and learn to adapted by merging those two perspectives together. You will live better and happier if you do that.  When people tell you why you accept yourself so quick or how they never will accept that side of themselves. Those people are just naïve, you don’t know until it happens to you. Beside human always adapt to their environment even if they are not aware of it themselves, that is just the reality. You will need these advices if I were you. “

Saitou: “……….”

Fukui: “Why do people suicide? why do kid drop out of school? Why do parent divorce? And you know why that happen? It’s because no one is there for them when they needed the most and no one truly believe or understand them.  We all accept who you are Saitou, so stop rejecting who you are and embrace who you are. You are now Saitou Amino but having Saitou Aki memories. Beside you can’t hide from people at your school for your entire life. I know you were using pillow to make yourself look fat, but is that the right choice? You also have a friend (Suki) at school. Will they be happy when they find out about you? There are some people in this world that will find a solution to their real problem, but most people don’t face their real problem unless someone bring it up. Saitou, you are one of them. It is okay to have mix feeling but it is not okay to reject who you are.”

Saitou: “………….”

Fukui: “your first lesson is self-reflect. If I am going to teach you stuff I need your resolve. Otherwise all my teaching will be in vain later on.”

Saitou: “Yes!”

Huh, I never thought of that before……. I guess ignorance and pride can only take you so far..
