Thankfully, Qian Feng didn't seem to realize that he was schedhuled for more training in the third level pit, or his mullings would be cut short, which would have grave consequences. Best case scenario, he makes the right decision, but hastily, and spends the rest of his life worrying about whether the decisionn he made was the right one until he gains a moment of insight and affirms it. Worst case, he ends up paralyzed over fear of making the wrong decision and ends up to scared to follow through with either of his choices.
Finally, on the eleventh day, Qian Feng "woke up". His eyes suddenly became brighter, his expression more vibrant, and an aura of confidence emanated out from him. Immediately, the mouth of Iron Fox gained a subtle curve.
Sure, I don't have to do this, Qian Feng thought. But can I really accept seeing such a chance to prove that my previous life walked on the wrong path, even if it is just to my self, and not taking it? That's why I train, and that's why I will walk this road even if I lose my life. Thinking this, Qian Feng stood up to go find the Iron Fox, whom he found waiting right outside the door, as if he had already known what Qian Feng wanted.
"Can we start right away with the third level pit?"
Without a word, the Iron Fox led Qian Feng to the third pit, one that seemed empty, but had a strange pressure emanating from it. Having learned his lesson about "empty" pits last time, he fully defended himself before hearing Iron Fox's voice.
"You are allowed to do anything you want in the Mountain's Embrace pit, on the exception of anything to do with Qi. You cannot cultivate, you cannot shield yourself, you cannot even sense the Qi in the area. Try not to die."
Qian Feng jumped voluntarily into the pit, believing it was better to jump in than to be forced in. However, he had no idea that the Iron Fox was planning on helping him subtly with this kick.
As Qian Feng started falling, his heart leapt in his chest as his body was forced down into the ground under a tremendous amount of pressure, the organs in his body being pushed to their max attempting to operate, his heart straining to keep beating under the far stronger gravity. It was all the boy could do to turn his body, every muscle fiber in his core tearing itself apart as they were ripped closer towards the ground faster than his body could fall.
The impact sent dust flying all around, and Qian Feng hit the ground as if he was an object that was 10 times as heavy as he actually was. The impact made him black out far a second or two, and when he regained consciousness, Qian Feng felt pain incomparable to what he felt from being hit by one of the "hammers" in the previous pit. Thankfully, he would only have to experience this once, but recovering from the tremendous impact would be quite difficult in a situation where, for example, his blood weighed ten times as much and was very close to rending his veins apart. Being unable to use Qi to fortify his whole body was also very restricting, and Qian Feng wouldn't find it surprising if he died due to the effect of the increased gravity magnifying his injury.

Perhaps the young warrior would have cried if he had known that the Iron Fox was planning on kicking him in a way that would severely reduce, if not negate, the effects of falling in. Of course, Qian Feng jumping in of his own accord would completely throw that plan out the window.
The muscles in the Iron Fox's eyelid twitched, as if to express shock, something quite rare on a face as stoic as that of the master.
But Qian Feng was currently occupied with his situation. Under the immense stress, his organs were beginning to fail, and if not for his regeneration that was honed through passing through the Martial Refiner stage in the Life affinity, perhaps the boy already would have died.
But as he neared his limit, Qian Feng felt a familiar heat emerge from his body, the one that he felt during the last pit, the one that had given him so much strength and enhanced his training.
Instead of flowing towards his wounded parts, like last time, healing them and strengthening them, the heat this time around spread throughout his whole body, fortifying his muscles, organs, skin, tendons, and everything else.
Qian Feng felt a significant decrease in the difficulty of remaining here, and smiled despite himself.
He continued crawling and regenerating, moving around and inciting the heat hidden in the depths of his body.
His muscles were strengthened tremendously, not just in their lifting power but also their compactness. Where previously they were comparable to elastic bands, under the strange heat and the increased gravity, the bonds between muscles cells tightened, becoming comparable to steel cables. In Qian Feng's previous world, his muscles alone could be used as armor against most bullets. The same thing happened to the rest of his body. It was tightened and toughened under the gravity tearing it apart, his skin becoming much stronger, his viscera tougher.
On the seventh day, Qian Feng's source of life and hope, the mysterious heat, disappeared. It could no longer be drawn out, as if it had been spent. Thankfully, by that time, Qian Feng was able to handle the pressure by himself, just with great difficulty.
The ten days passed, and Qian Feng was taken out of the pit and back to the ordinary training grounds, thinking about everything he had gained from the Mountain's Embrace pit, expecially in the final three days where he didn't have access to the strange heat.
