“Is this my end?” I couldn’t stop the trembling along with the pain assaulting me. I could only understand its existence now. I felt pain so great that I could barely think. I was being dismembered. Piece by piece, by something I could no longer see due to my literal fucking eyes being slowly cut out.

I felt something stirring alongside the unimaginable pain. I-I spent years, suffering and foolishly believing I could obtain eternity. I was- I was a fucking fool by believing in what they said, in having hope.

All those millions of people, of His children as the bible says, all for nothing. I gave them life beyond their wildest dreams, bringing in happiness and joy. I even stopped a fucking war! A war that was destined to end hundreds of millions - if not billions, of lifes!

And yet, where did it get me in the end? Walking through a fucking forest, accompanied by some stupid-looking old man whose name I didn’t even bother to remember, all because of a fucking ritual of exorcism he wanted me to participate in. TO PARTICIPATE IN A RITUAL OF EXORCISM!

Still, I complied. And all it took to end me was a literal blink. A blink that any other men or women on Earth could have made and found themselves in this hell, instead of a Saint like me!

“Have I done all that in vain, God?!” I couldn’t help it anymore. All my control was starting to seriously slip through my mind. By this point, I was slowly but surely dying. I could- I could feel it.

Something was approaching me, my puny thoughts already in shambles.

“YOU WOULD DO THIS TO ME?! And yet, the invisible blades that were endlessly rampaging and cutting my body kept going, without stop.

None answered my questions. I desperately wanted, I needed for someone to answer me.

“STOP T-THIS PLEASE! I-” I couldn’t even finish one sentence. A blade cut through half my bloodied neck, a significant chunk of it going missing. It disintegrated, I could feel it. Along with the-

Its voice suddenly exploded into existence itself. The roaring world around me suddenly quieted, and thunder began making its presence known. It seemed as though something was watching towards this place, something far more incomprehensible than I could imagine.

I could now see clouds forming above my head - if I had one to begin with - with thunder dancing between the cloudy expanse. It seemed as though a heavenly law was broken and the universe itself was furious. And yet, the powerful voice that sounded around me seemed to not care, as if expecting the event.

And suddenly, something knocked me out again. If I had ears, they would definitely be blown out just by the sheer force of that sound coming towards me.

But I… apparently, accomplished my only goal. Right?

I hope so… for that voice’s wellness, I hope it didn’t lie. For if he did…
