An old man - by Earth standards - steps into a spatial instability by accident, slowly killing him. How could it be that he dies when he still has to find a way to accomplish his only goal? As the adage goes: "When there is a will, there is a way". What is he willing to pay in exchange to attain a single glance, or perhaps the entire thing that he so desires? ... Set in a Xianxia world, but with a shade of realism. Our MC isn't here to earn companions and be all lovey-dovey and innocent. This is a cruel world, and it'll be described as such. After all, I am trying to depict the characters of highly intelligent, wisdom-filled beings with hundreds upon hundreds of years of experience. It will not be easy, so any error I make that is pointed out in a mature and realistic manner is always welcome. As another warning, there will be lots of things that may or may not offend anyone who easily gets creeped our by gore, torture and such things.
