After all those years, still a mammas boy

Jesse had learned so much over the years after the Migration, Although magic and sorcery would come after the Migration, Jesse knew the spells, but he could feel no mana here. But Martial arts, at least the moves, He knew like the back of his hand. As Jesse was walking to the office, he came across the bully that followed him across the grades, his name was Troy and he stood around 6 feet and 200 pounds, Jesse was sitting at 6’1 and 210 but used to be a geek anlet Troy run over him.

Trying to by-pass him in the hallway, Jesse quickly walked by but heard the haunting bully that hasn’t left him alone since kindergarden, old feelings flared up and became new again. Mixed with the stress of being reborn and the old rage towards his bully, Jesse ran up to him, jumped, and then otrnado kicked him in his temple. It was a one hit KO! Quickly running through the head office and out the door, he got into his mom's car who was waiting for him outside.

Immediately getting into the car, his mom asked “is anything hurting sweety”, Jesse not wanting to lie said “Just wait until we get home, I will tell you everything”. After this sentence, his mom knew that he wasn’t sick but struggling with something mentaly, but not wanting to push anything sat in the car silently all the way home. Just as they arrived, his mom’s phone rang and when she answered, she looked at Jesse feriously and sat as the person on the other end of the phone kept talking, his moms glare became questioning rather than angry and finally, all she said was “I will come in tomorrow to talk about him” and with this hung up.

Jesse never acted out, but tried his best to make his Mom’s life easy. But knowing none of it mattered Jesse released his anger regardless and Boy! It felt GOOOD. Now? Shame overtook him as he saw the worry on his long dead, but now alive mother. All she had to do was walk torwards the house, and said “I'll make coffee”, her tone nerve racking. Jesse was speechless, he walked through the door of their condo and he went and sat on the couch.

A few minutes later his mom came back with a cup of coffee and the first question was “why did you hit Troy?”Jesse felt hit was an understatement and wanted to voice his pride on that hit, even with his (in comparison) astronomicly low physic, Jesse said “I did more than ‘hit him’ mom, I tornado kicked him in the face for a one hit KO.” Hearing the pride in his work, and slightly not believing, his mother sat there and silently looked concerned. Her only response was “would you like to see a therapist?” To Jesse, that was a silly question and he erupted with laughter, his mom was quickly furious and said “Do you know what you did? You could ruin your life, I am going to have to get on my hands and knees tomorow and try to not get you expelled, or serve jail time.” This left Jesse Speechless, and he responded with “Mom, Tomorrow won’t matter, we will go to the school and ask for the tape and you will see the hit. And after that you will believe what I’m about to say.”

And after saying this Jesse said, “Mom, I have lived for 31 years. The last fifteen was Hell because the day after tomorrow everyone on earth with be teleported into a world that thrives on the blood and bones of your enemies and the backs of your friends, and I think I can contest that God is real because I believe that he was the one who brought me back.” After this outburst, his Mom raged and yelled “you kick someone and then compare god to one of the novels you read on royalroad? Not only do you lie about how you hit him, but dismiss it with a fantasy? You better hope and pray that there is some truth in your words, because tomorrow I WILL ask for that video and I Don’t know what kind of threat to say right now so go to your room, were leaving at 7am so be at the door and waiting!” With this Jesse calmly went to his room, laid on his bed and for the first time in fifteen years got a full night's sleep.
