Chapter 30- New Year's parties. Part 3

Everyone then goes to lunch and celebrates, while they're talking at the table, Luan is playing with Derick's little brother Ryan, they love playing with each other, that's because he's only 3 years old, Luan seems to be the same age as him, and Derick is sitting reading something as usual, then his uncle Justin, laughs, and nudges Luan's father and whispers to him:

"I think Luan needs a little brother or sister, what do you think Luke?"

Luke is surprised by what his brother says, as he looks at Luan playing with his little cousin, but he's not wrong, that really was Luke's wish, if he could have a chance for that to become real again, he'd be happy, he smiles and replies quietly to Justin:

"Bro, it doesn't just depend on me, it depends on someone else's will."

Justin decides to extinguish him, and whispers again:

"I heard you two slept together last night."

Luke rolls his eyes, looking surprised that this has reached his ears, he just wanted to keep Ana company, and they ended up sleeping together, did Ana tell Jully something, his brother's wife, no Ana wouldn't talk about it, so who would it be, Luke retorts:

"Apparently the walls of my house have ears and mouths, who told you?"

Justin gives a broad smile, then laughs, Luke looks confused and doesn't understand, he frowns, then he decides to say:

"Nobody told me, I just deduced, and you just confirmed what I thought."

Luke grimaces, his brother is always eager and perceptive when he wants to be, and he's fallen into his brother's trap, there's nothing to hide now, he just signals Justin to be quiet and keep it a secret, his brother understands him well, so there's no need to prolong the subject.

Everything is going well, everyone is celebrating, then suddenly Santa Claus appears, yes it's Grandpa Han dressed as Santa Claus, he's wearing a wig and a fake beard, and the usual red clothes of the good old man, he has chosen not to use a spell, but he really hopes that his youngest grandson doesn't pull his beard and discover his disguise, As soon as he enters, Luan starts to laugh. He tries to disguise it by leaning his face on Derick's shoulder, who is also trying not to laugh at the situation, but then he nudges Luan, because Santa Claus is standing in front of him, waiting for him to pick up the present he is holding.

"Cof ,cof, your present Luan Bianchi Becker, even though you haven't obeyed properly, have been stubborn, and sometimes lazy, I can consider you to have been a "good boy", ho ho ho.

If you encounter this story on Amazon, note that it's taken without permission from the author. Report it.

Apparently Luan has been humiliated and mocked, but he tries to overlook the "good boy" part, as it's Santa's turn to deliver the present to Derick, who, unlike Luan, hears nothing but praise.

"Now it's your turn Derick Becker, what can I say about you, an intelligent, responsible, hard-working boy with a bright future, you're an excellent boy, here's your present."

Luan stands to the side listening, they were only compliments, different from the words he heard, but he takes it in jest with his acid humor when it comes to his grandfather, he knows that his grandfather meant those words, but he is not satisfied, and decides to test his grandfather's disguise, he turns to his little cousin Ryan and says:

"Ryan, how about you pull Santa's beard, and see if it's real?"

Grandpa Han stares incredulously at Luan and says:

"How about you return your present, you're not being a "good boy".

Luan holds his gift box tightly, shakes his head in the negative and says:

"No, what's given can't be stolen."

Ryan seems curious now about Santa's beard, Grandpa Han sees no other way but to use a spell to glue his beard temporarily, Luan sees him using magic for his spell, Ryan then pulls the beard and it really looks like the real thing, he opens his mouth in surprise, turns to Luna and says:

"Wow, the beard, it's real, Lulu"

Luan looks dejected, but he expected it, his grandfather is very astute, they go to take some photos with Santa Claus, Luan takes the opportunity to play once again, and make horns with his hand, on Santa's head, while he is crouching with Ryan, boy Luan is very playful that day, it's time for Grandpa to change and go back to being Grandpa Han, the only problem is that the beard spell is still active, it'll be a while before the spell wears off, he wraps a scarf between his neck and face, to disguise himself as he says goodbye and so that his grandson Ryan doesn't get suspicious if he sees him with a beard, but Ryan is clever and asks:

"Grandpa, are you cold?"

Grandpa Han disguises himself and says:

"Yes, Grandpa's quite old, so I'm quite cold!"

They're at the gate, saying goodbye, Luan doesn't miss a chance to laugh at his grandfather, his grandfather comes up to him and when he's about to hug him, he pulls Luan's ear:

"Oh, my ear, let go, let go..."

Grandpa Han then says:

"Did you have a good time today, dear grandson?!"

Luan struggles with the pain of his ear being pulled, but his grandfather lets go straight away and says goodbye, while a black motorcycle is stopped a few meters away, next to another house, and the rider is all in black, including his helmet, but the visor of the helmet is up, he seems to be looking at Luan's family members, to Grandpa, Grandma, then Justin, and to Jully who is holding Ryan, who seems to be asleep, then he looks at Luan, who has already noticed his presence and is looking at him, apparently he doesn't seem to be dangerous, just that he is waiting for someone, and has just noticed his family talking loudly and saying goodbye, a few seconds pass while the two of them look at each other, the biker then disguises himself by looking to the side and closing the visor of his helmet, and someone gets on the back of his motorcycle, with his helmet on he can't see who it is, his relatives have already got into the car, and are starting to drive away, the biker starts his motorcycle, The biker ends up making a sign of peace and love, apparently to Luan, because he is the only one left on the sidewalk, his parents and Derick, who is staying to sleep at their house, are waiting for him just inside the gate, calling out to him.

Luan doesn't understand and thinks:

(That, what was that peace and love, that was for me? It can't be, I don't know the rider or the license plate).

Meanwhile, the person on the back of the motorcycle asks the biker what he's up to:

"By any chance, is that Luan?"

The motoclycle smiles and replies:

"Yes, that's Luan."
