“Well… that works.”, Bokep said, turning his head slightly and their straightening it to signify his acceptance of the peculiar methodology employed by his comrade.
“We should get a move on, Europans likely heard that alarm. They’ll be coming soon.”, Said Samantha popping her head through the door way.Moving down stairs, Bokep thought he heard a faint buzzing sound. Figuring it was just his ears reacting to the loudness of the alarm, he disregarded this. As the four scavs left the safety of the converted command post onto the street, he saw that it was not in fact his ears messing with him. Instead, it was a Europan light reconnaissance drone. A single silenced shot sounded from next to Bokep. This time, it came from Ellie, their team’s designated marksman. He didn’t know much about her, but she was a generally happy and cheery person to be around. Her favored weapon and coincidently the one she had just taken the drone out with was a Remington Model 700 Bolt-Action Rifle with a modernized Archangel stock and body.
“Let’s go!”, She said, racking another round into the chamber as she took off running.
The rest of the, took off in a mad dash to distance themselves from the area as Europan ground forces would surly be coming soon. As they darted down the road, the residential zones slowly turned into rubble, then into trench-lines, then back into industrial buildings. All along the way, the team didn’t see a soul. Reaching further into the plant, there began to be sounds of trucks in the distance. Right in-between them and their exfil point.

Moving into one of the smaller buildings along the road, the team tried to avoid the approaching convoy as best they could. Moving in single file, the four carefully and slowly crept their way through the bottom floor until they reached the opposite side of the building which had a blown open wall. Peering out, Bokep saw three Eropan heavy infantry moving down a road perpendicular to theirs. They were far off to his right, but if they wanted to get across the street, they’d need to either move, or be taken care of.
Looking around, he saw a few larger pieces of debris along the floor, and a perfectly dark building across from him. Taking one of the larger pieces of rubble, Bokep aimed for the stairwell in the building across from him and threw. The debris hit the stairwell’s handrail, breaking apart and adding to the growing pile of dust on its floor. The sound from the impact was audible to the soldiers; one seeming to radio the disturbance in whilst the other two raised the rifles and moved into investigate.
Bokep held up a three with his right hand and made a motion of his hand moving right to left, signifying the movement of the three Europans. Drawing his sidearm, Bokep readied himself as Ellie raised her suppressed weapon in kind. They didn’t need wait long as soon the soldiers were shining large flashlights into the building. Ellie fired first, dropping the first one. Bokep fired a volley of 9x21 into the next, seemingly killing him as Ellie chambered and fired once more, dropping the third. The two moved across the street and dragged the bodies into the engulfing darkness only to return into the light to motion for the others to join them. With their quota for violence filled, they scurried back into the darkness of the under-city, and onto Scav Town to fulfill their contract.
