No matter what their reality was, everyone was connected to someone else.
No matter how different they were, they could still reach out to someone.
Did such an ideal world really exist? Or was everyone conditioned to believe it worked that way?
What happened to those who couldn't reach that world?
What about those who broke the connections with their own hands?

He could only hold his chest with a tight grasp while trying to endure intense pain from within.
And next, a disturbingly familiar sensation enveloped him.
He had collapsed on the cold ground. The sound of a grand impact resounded as the attack missed him, and bounced against the wall of the barrier surrounding him.
A figure entered his line of sight. Her silhouette was covered by the warm sunlight of a new morning, and her voice was oddly reassuring.
"Need some help, boss?"
At that moment, the warm red of dawn enveloped that lonely city.
