“⎓𝙹∷ᓵᒷ ᓵᔑ⊣ᒷ!!!” Perparos spoke in an unknown language, a magical force surrounded him. At first, Max could barely see it surrounding Perparos’s body, and then it began to expand, faster and faster, until it spread all across the room. “Fear my power!” Perparos said, his eyes black looking straight into Max’s soul. “This will be your end! With this mana prison, no one will escape this room until I remove it or until I die!!”
At that point, Max started to panic, badly. “Listen h-here Perparos!” Max stuttered, trying to sound tough at least. “If you don’t calm yourself n-now, you’re going to regret it!”
“What are you going to do? Destroy everything I worked for once again?!” Perparos yelled at Max, mad, his face turned red, and smoke went out of his ears.
“You still have all of this!” Max tried to reason with him. “You don’t want all your research destroyed just because you lost one stupid orb!”
“A STUPID ORB?!” Perparos spat fire out of his mouth. Max tried to calm him down, but he did the opposite, Perparos had never been this mad in his entire life. “That orb was EVERYTHING!! You will pay for everything!”
“ᒲ╎ᓭᓭ ᓭℸ ̣ ᒷ!¡!” Perparos disappeared in a thick mist, moving swiftly across the room and reappearing behind Max. From the mist Perparos appeared, a big staff made out of dark wood in his hand, he was mid-cast of his next spell. “ʖ╎⊣ ⍑ᔑリ↸” he continued casting in an unknown ancient tongue, and a giant hand appeared above his head. The hand moved fast, grabbed a wooden box off the floor, and threw it at Max, while Perparos started casting another spell.
“Calm down Perparos, I don’t want to hurt you!” Max said out loud, but inside: “I don’t have any mana left!”
Perparos didn’t answer anything, weird words continued to come out of his mouth, and the hand kept grabbing stuff close to it and throwing it at Max. Luckily for Max, the hand wasn’t as precise, or he would be in huge trouble. Max finally decided to bluff more and prepared his wand. “I will do it, I will destroy everything in here if you don’t stop now! I mean it!”
Once again, Perparos didn’t answer anything, the hand above him closed over him, protecting him while he was casting. Max ran and hid behind a huge stone pillar, trying to calm himself down. “What can I do in this situation?” he had to think of something. But while he was thinking Perparos finished casting his next spell.
“!¡∷𝙹ℸ ̣ ᒷᓵℸ ̣!” he started glowing in bright light.
“What did you do now?” Max asked.
“I’m fighting a mage, in my life, I fought many mages so I made this spell that protects me from any magic!!”
“WHAT?” Max looked in shock. “You’re telling me that any spell I use on you now, won’t do you any harm?”
“That’s right! I take 100% more physical damage, but against magic I am unbeatable!” he started laughing.
“Oh, well then…” Max grabbed pieces of stone on the floor. “Catch this you crazy fucker!” He threw the rocks at him, on every contact Perparos screamed in pain.

“Hey! Stop it!” he yelled at Max. “You’re a mage, how dare you attack me like that?!”
“Shut up and eat this rock!” a big piece of rock flew at Perparos, his hand protected him but then disappeared, it seemed as if it had enough and couldn’t handle it anymore. “What are you going to do now smartass?” Max regained his confidence a little bit.
“⍑ᒷᔑ⍊ᒷリ ⎓╎∷ᒷ” The sky opened, and four flaming rocks appeared out of the light. “I will destroy you and everything in here! This is your fault! Everything is your fault!!!” Perparos kept screaming at Max. The four flaming rocks started spinning above Perparos’s head, and then one by one went flying straight at Max.
“Fuck!” Max uttered, hiding behind the stone pillar, that wasn’t strong enough to handle the flaming rock. When one of the flaming rocks made contact with the pillar, it exploded and thousands of pieces went flying into the air. Max covered his head, kissing the floor. “I have to move fast,” he thought. “Aghh!” he let out his war shout, which was definitely not the fearful shout most would think, and he ran to hide behind the second pillar. While running, the second rock hit right behind him, sending him flying to the safety of the pillar.
Max knew he had to keep on moving, but he didn’t have any breath, and his legs were shaking like crazy. “The goal is not to shit or piss myself, that would be humiliating even in death,” he told himself.
“Run! You Idiot! Run! Or I will kill you!!” Perparos laughed, enjoying his revenge.
“I wish I could,” Max was sweating. But he had to run because two more rocks kept flying towards him. One of them hit the pillar, destroying it just like the one before it, the second one started chasing Max when he went out of his destroyed cover.
He ran to the lab part of the room, jumping over a wooden table in front of him, and hiding behind it. The rock flew too fast to stop, it hit the wall and went in an explosion of fire.
“You move quick!” Perparos continued laughing. “It’s like you’re a natural runner!”
“I run a lot, yeah…” Max gasped for air.
“MaAaAaaaX…” Max heard someone calling his name. “MaaAaAaaaaX.”
“I think I’m going crazy because of all the exhaustion,” he thought.
“It is time to end this, to kill you because you destroyed my precious orb!! You did good, but now it is time for you to die!” he raised his staff and started casting once again. “⎓ꖎᔑᓭ⍑ ℸ ̣ ⍑╎リ⊣ ⎓ꖎᔑᓭ⍑ ℸ ̣ ⍑╎リ⊣ ⎓ꖎᔑᓭ⍑ ℸ ̣ ⍑╎リ⊣ ⎓ꖎᔑᓭ⍑ ℸ ̣ ⍑╎リ⊣!”
Lighting began to swirl around Perparos, circling him like birds, protecting their master. The air crackled from the energy, Max sat by the wall, he didn’t have any more strength to continue. He just wanted it to end.
“Don’t tell me you surrendered!”
“Maybe,” Max said. “Just do it.”
“So be it! If it’s a trap, it still won’t work! My lighting bolts never miss their target! You are done! ⎓ꖎᔑᓭ⍑ ℸ ̣ ⍑╎リ⊣!” the casting seemed to finish, Perparos smiled at Max. “Time to end th-”
A crack in the ceiling spread fast, dust fell over Perparos, and a deep voice echoed to them. “Max!!” he wasn’t imagining it, someone was definitely calling for him.
“What is going on?” Perparos said as he focused on the crack in the ceiling. Then a loud BAM! and the ceiling opened, Boorg with Piggy on his head fell through and landed right on Perparos. The lighting bolts disappeared the magic field surrounding the room as well. Max couldn’t believe it.
“How did you find me?” he asked.
“Boorg hear loud BANG! Boorg destroy the floor and fell here,” Boorg kept poking Perparos under him. “Who this, new friend?”
“Not a friend, an enemy! Be careful he is very dangerous!” Max yelled.
“No more, he dead,” Boorg stood up and started cleaning himself from all the dust that covered him from head to toe. “Achoo!” he sneezed.
“I guess to his protection spell even falling on him counted as damage,” Max said. “And when 150kg of pure muscle drops on you, even without the increased damage you would be seriously injured.”
“No monsters left, we leave now?” Boorg asked, poking his nose.
“Let me just… rest a little bit,” Max lay down on the floor and started snoring.
