It was an exciting day for me. Summer break started I can finally start to play Royal Road. The pod has been teasing me for the past month. I ran home from school that day and hopped into the pod as fast as possible. I got comfortable, palms down, head on my pillow, [don’t judge you don’t want to wake up sore from this thing I hear It’s hell]. I turned it on.

“New Irises deteted” a disembodied voice said

“Would you both like to make a new account” the disembodied voice said

“Yes we would” I said……. WAIT, THAT WASNT ME!

I looked around and saw…… HER!

“WHO ARE YOU!” I shouted!

“Oh, hi Paul.” she said with a smile “Im Yui. I’m your sister.”

“Thats not possible I’m an only child. This has got to be some kind of joke from the admins.”

She giggled “This isn’t a joke Paul, I can prove it, I share all your memories” she leaned in and whispered to me something I swore to not tell another human soul.

“How do you know that?!” I asked slightly frightened.

“I told you silly I’m another part of you, and well actually I’m technically your dead sister, but well, it’s complicated…”

I took control during those times to help you. Although recently I got tired of you embarrassing us during chorus so I took over to make us look good. Also I wanted to meet your friends, they are very nice.”

“Ok you know what, how about this, we just start playing the game, and at somepoint we can ask my parents.”

“Our parents.” she pouted

“Whatever, hey disembodied voice, can we make our avatars now.”

“Finally, Race please.”

“Human” we both said

“Would you like to keep your appearance or change it”
