Kyyu's Life

Kyyu's Life

Kyyu’s Life

Kyyu walks through her empty house as she looks at all the dusty nick-knacks. Her loneliness over comes her to the brink of sanity. "Why don't I get any visitors?" She asks herself. "Is it because I'm a monster?" The blonde haired girl-looking creature sits on the old couch with gloom. Her big blue eyes stare into oblivion for what seems like moments. Kyyu sighs and gets up to walk towards the front door. "Let's see what this lifeless planet has in store for today." Her hand pushes the door open and steps onto the porch. She breathes in the fresh air, lets out a deep sigh, and continues on with her journey.

Vensen, her father, left her on this uninhabited earth because she was of no use to him. Kyyu was supposed to be a born experiment on how Vensen works, but she became faulty because she was too emotional, unlike him. The planet has an unlimited source of food that appears were it should and strangely has no internet. What would be the point of a social network on a blank globe anyway? She has all the books, tapes, DVDs, and other recordings from the original earth so she can watch all of those if she wants. She has nothing else to do really.

The seemingly normal mutant walks through a nearby town to look at all the stores. "I wonder what style I can find that suits me." Kyyu has been wearing the same outfit for a while now. A red V-neck tank top, black jacket, black shorts, and black combat boots. The same thing for over 5 million years. "C'mon where are the damn good looking ones?!" She shouts out loud to the stores. "Give me something hot damn it! Oh what a cute little dress!" She rips the colorful piece of clothing from the stand behind the glass while she’s positioned in the shop. "I love the mint green to it and everything! How much is this beauty?" She looks at the meaningless price tag which tells her that it costs over fifty dollars. "I can totally afford that!" She says cordially. Kyyu walks over the cash register like any girl would. "I would like to buy this please." No one responds of course so she goes to the other side of the counter and smashes the machine open with her fist. She pulls out five of ten dollar bills. "Thank you for shopping here." She says to herself. Then before she walks out the door she calls out to herself, "Have a nice day!" A look of sadness befalls her face before she officially leaves.

Her face looks to the ground in disappointment as the dress drags along the pavement of the street. “No one ever tells me that.”
