Rising Sovereign
Chapter 0 : Prologue

Chapter 0 : Prologue

The sky rumbled as the entierity of the world flashed with bright lightning in each seconds. the battlefield

was filled with mist, making it unable to see anything. This does not apply to these 2 figures though.

This extravagant feat was performed by the 2 figures, one being a powerful individual with great influence,

and the other.. a mysterious man that doesn't even have his name in history.

"Why do you seek to destroy me, powerful one?"

The one who asked the question was the influental figure, also known as the sovereign of the

biggest continent, Maria Alterio.

"I've turned my eyes away from your bloodline for a bit too long. It's time I destroy you all whole

so you won't continue any further from 'that' plan."

And the one who answered was the mysterious figure who's history is not known by anyone,

even the most knowledgeable. His name is Isaac.

"I unfortunately have no idea as to what deed made you want to destroy my bloodline

so badly, but I will not just stand still and let you kill me."

"Of course you wouldn't know, this plan was initiated by your great ancestor."

the mist cleared up as a man in an almost translucent coat dashed towards Maria.

"I'll have you explain once I clean up this mess."

The longsword that Maria was holding started flashing with a bright light. She

then swung it towards Isaac horizontally.

"You don't know a thing about who you're dealing with."

A bright explosion occured with an extremely bright flash. The heavens itself

rumbled as thunder roared the sky. As the explosion cleared up, what stood there

was the figure of Isaac, blocking the longsword that Maria had swung which had

the capability to destroy an entire country, with a simple lightning axe which he formed

directly on his right arm.

    "..What?..How..So easily.."

A case of content theft: this narrative is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.

All this time they were fighting, Maria was giving her all. And that was what she expected from her

opponent too. But unbeknownst to her, Isaac was taking her on casually, as if

fighting with a toddler that had just learned to wield a sword.

    "Difference in experience perhaps?"

Without waiting for an opening, Isaac formed a lightning blade which emitted a

blue and purple flash on his right hand. He then swung it towards the head of Maria.

    "..!"

Maria, finally realizing the situation she was in, like an adult playing with a toddler,

reflexively jumped backwards in order to avoid getting hit by the long lightning blade.

    "Who.. are you!?"

For the first time in years, Maria looked a bit anxious while battling this

mysterious man named Isaac. She was curious as to how someone as strong as him

could stay in the dark for so long and if there were any more like him.

"If you were a normal person, I'd already killed you without answering the question.

But since you're about to die by my hands, I'll tell you anyways. My name Isaac, and i am

an ancient sovereign from the time of tyranny."

"A sovereign.. from the time of tyranny!? But.. but i thought all the sovereign had died

when the greatest war occured..!?"

"Well no point in thinking about that. You're about to die anyways.. Have a great time in your

next life."

Isaac unsheated the sword from his belt sheath and aims it vertically, aiming perfectly towards the now on guard Mary.

    "Damn it.."

Mary admitted defeat as Isaac's sword lengthen, turning to a long lightning blade and punctured Mary through her heart.

    "Agh!!..."

She bled badly as the long lightning blade rages through her body, burning her in the process.

"Such a shame. I didn't want to do this, but it's for the sake of the world."

Isaac said those words and lowers the sword deeper, reaching her heart, and eventually her core.

    "This is it."

    "Uehgggh..."

Her beautiful core which shone like diamond could surpass even the most rarest of gems. inside it, two vibrant red and gold color glowed, and Isaac raised his eyebrow to this.

"No way.. how..? how is such a coincidence even possible..? a prophet.. and a source of calamity.. all in one..?"

His gaze hardened as he reappeared beside her in an instant.

"There's only one possible thing to do now.."

He pulled the sword out of her heart which was not beating anymore, only her core living, and grabbed it with right his hand covered in a mysterious blue aura, while holding his sword in his left hand.

"..May the one who rules fate and stories lead you to your honorable fate.."

The blue aura enveloping my right hand started entering the surface of her core. When it disappears completely from my hand, her core started shining brightly like the star, and by the time it stopped.. it disappeared.

    "Now that's done."
