It was after I passed out from a fall, I opened my eyes and found myself standing on an empty plane of darkness. I looked around and saw something from a distance not far from me. I saw what appears to be a very skinny and pale man, wearing a purple robe that covers his boney-like body and what seems to be a skull of a cow as a helm, only revealing his pale lips, sitting on a throne made out of bones and human skull on the top of the throne with purple flames lit from the upper part of it. The man seems like he's waiting patiently for someone with his cheek resting on his knuckles.
"So, how does it feel? Are you content with your choice?" The man said in a raspy voice, directed to me.
I can only stand there and be puzzled by his question, now knowing what he meant by that. He then lets out a sigh and stood up from his throne of bones and slowly walked up to me with his wooden cane in his hand. I felt dread unlike what I experienced each time he took a step closer to me, feeling like death is emitting from him.
"What's wrong? You can speak, you know." He said as soon as he's right in front of me, peering me with his soulless gaze from the holes of the cow's skull.
"Can... What?! I can speak..?" I said in confusion, not knowing why I can speak properly in this plane of existence but not previously.
"It appears that there's a side effect from your... 'reincarnation', o' pitiful human." The pale man said.
"Reincarnation..? who am I, and who are you?"
"A pity... it seems you forgot..." The man said, then he puts his hand to my cheek. "This ought to make you remember."
The man's hand then shines in a bright-purple color and his eyes turn red. It didn't take me long to feel like my mind is being attacked, it hurts like hell. My vision turns blank.

"Aaah! It's so hot outside today." A man in a business suit said while walking around town on a busy street filled with people.
"Today went horrible as well... the boss was angry at me... my co-workers basically told me to do their work... sigh..." The man murmured to himself, looking dejected and tired.
Well... it's a pretty high paying job, so I shouldn't really complain, but...
The man walked into a train station and bought a ticket. He waited and got into a train as soon as the train opened its side door and sat on an empty seat.
Agh..! it's hot here too with all of these crowd of people on the streets! Ouch... my stomach is hurting as hell ever since I ate together with the president... could it be that the food box he gave me... no, I shouldn't assume anything bad! But it is kind of suspicious... the president is the type of person to look at someone like me like a small bug, so why did he invite me to eat lunch with him..? and even weirder, he told me to just go home for today? It's still waaay within my work hours but he lets me go home for today...

The man then felt something hitting the back of his shoes as if something is below the seat he's sitting at. He reached his hand below the seat and picked up an old and dusty videogame cartridge with the title of the game barely recognizable.
A videogame cartridge? Whoa... I haven't seen this kind of case since I was a teenager. Nowadays videogames come in data or discs. Hmm... wait, WHAT?! 'DynaFantasy I'?! Isn't this the game that I've played so much during my teenage years?!
The man's silence excitement caught a lot of attention to the people on his surrounding with a weirded-out expression on their faces.
Oh, crap... I should just be quiet and check this out later. It's kind of weird that an old videogame such as this still exists... but why is it under the seat of a train? Anyways, what a find...
The train finally arrives at the next station to where the man gets off and stores the cartridge into his inside pocket suit. He walked under the orange-colored sky and a warm breeze of the afternoon's wind and went to his home.
"I'm home." The man said as he takes off his work shoes and puts it in a cabinet. "Well, it's not like I have a wife or something..."
The man walked up upstairs and went to his room. He then took off his business suit and go straight to inspecting the cartridge with only his tank top and boxers.
I can't believe it... it really is DynaFantasy I... a game filled with adventure and fantasy and is among the best of its kind back in the days with its very versatile settings and mechanics. I've pretty much mastered and know all things this game has to offer- Ouch!
The man holds his stomach with both of his hands and grunting in pain.
Ugh... what is with my stomach..? well, the pain is gone again... maybe I should go to a doctor tomorrow...
The man then rummages around his closet and found a dusty and unused old videogame console. He picks it up and puts it in front of his television.
Thank goodness I still have the console! I lost my DynaFantasy cartridge when I carried it around during a school trip to a famous city, thinking that I can play it during the trip and there'll be a console in the hotel, but it turns out to be a stupid decision because it disappeared from my bag on the first day of the trip... I think someone stole it... good job me for still keeping my console around though.
The man turns on his TV and dusts off the remaining filth from the cartridge. He then puts it in the console and it went in perfectly.
Alright! perfect slot! Ooh, I can't wait to play it again! I've been waiting forever for the sequel of the game where it continues after you defeated the demon lord, but the game company disbanded years after the release of their masterpiece, so it was never made.
The game then slowly loads up and the loading bar is filling up very slow.
What class should I play as I wonder... A sky knight? Archer? Lancer? I can't even decide since all the 20+ classes are pretty fun, that is if you unlock them all, which I did in the past. The only thing I'm complaining is that there is no Summoning-type class where you command your familiars so that they attack for you. There are NPCs that can do that but it sucks that it's not available for the player- GHAK!
The man coughs and he discovered blood coming out from the cough, followed by a sharp, stinging pain in his stomach area.
"Cough! Cough! Wheeze! What... is happening to me..?" The man coughs relentlessly as his body weakens and his eyes getting heavier. "No... but I haven't... even..."
The man lied on the floor and dropped his controller and slowly but surely closed his eyes and he feels nothing, and see only darkness.
