Once the Universe was thriving, with thousands of powerful timelines and the Ultimate to guide them all. However, when nothing had changed for hundreds of thousands of years, there was a single spark that lit the fire of destruction. The Greatest of all Wars began with a mistake, an order to hold a position misinterpreted as an order to invade. Trillions died even more suffered. The Ultimate did nothing to stop it. Its purpose was to increase the strength of the Universe as a whole, not to help beings, and a ruler of all timelines would be better for the universe as a whole. But it was wrong. For instead of Overlord what came was destruction. The only timeline left was a deserted land with only one species. So the will of the Universe instead decided to choose a new Supreme God, one chosen from among the last living beings to lead to Universe into a new Era. So begins the rise of Jonathan Rift. And with him the rise of Humanity.
