Next was the spear skill. Derek practiced swinging the spear for ten minutes until he maxed it out. After converting, he gained another 2 XP—bringing him even closer to Level 1.
Looking at the crack in the cave ceiling, he realized it was getting dark. He grabbed the spear and tried placing it in his inventory. The spear vanished from his hands and appeared in an inventory slot. When he clicked on its icon, a description popped up.

Squeezing through the entrance blocked by the rock, he walked ten meters to the trees and started collecting sticks, storing them in his inventory.
A few minutes later, just as he was about to return, he heard a hissing sound. Turning toward the noise, he saw a 2-meter-long snake slithering toward him. Startled, he quickly pulled out his spear and pointed it at the snake.
The snake lunged at his leg, but Derek struck its head with the spear.
