Hey folks

I am trying to take part in the January 2025 magazine contest. Unfortunately, they require that I start a new story for it (wish I could just submit this one, but alas, I can't). The topic line is "Dead men tell the best tales". So that is what I am going for. I am only planning to do a short story, but if people like it then I may consider doing a longer version. As of now, I only have one chapter, and it is NOT a LitRPG.

But if you guys like it and want me to go the LitRPG route with it, let me know via comments or reviews. Still working on the cover image and blurb too. So, head on over and let me know what you think. It is just one chapter at this point.

The Star Gazer

The spaceship, Star Gazer. The pinnacle of Earth’s technology and ingenuity is sent on a colonizing mission to a distant solar system. But along the way they stumble across something that no one expects. Something long lost to the annals of time. And thus a desperate fight for survival ensues, where the enemies can strike from anywhere, including from within.

What to expect:

I am not sure yet. This is my entry for the magazine contest. I will update the blurb as I decide what direction to take the story. Suffice it to say, you can expect a lot of mystery, friendships forged in fire, with a healthy sprinkle of betrayal. A sci-fi novel showing the dangers of deep space travel, and maybe possible supernatural elements (Like I said, I don’t know yet)
