School Life

School Life

I feel that at this time, I should explain a little bit about the magic of this world.

Around the time I was enrolling into the magic specialized school, I learned of the seven existing tiers of spells. Ranging from one to seven, the spells where classed according to the difficulty of casting them and the amount of mana they required.  The effect of the spell also played a role in its evaluation.

The school which I had started attending housed many renowned magicians skilled in 3rd tier spells. Only the dean of the department of magic could boast to have master the fourth tier. I should mention that in the recorded history of human kind, only a single human was ever noted to use 6th tier spells.

It came to my own surprise as well as to the dean himself. On my enrolment there, I was already capable of casting fourth level spells. I would continue my studies of magic under the dean himself, the only person capable of guiding me.  He swore to try his best to advance my magic powers.

Around the same time as I was shaming the renowned magicians, I also reached the limit of my father's training.  I felt for a moment that he himself had read my RE manuals when he announced his summoning of the master he himself had learned the sword from. He also mentioned of wanting to send me to be a private tutor of a distant relative’s daughter.

As mentioned before, I was not ready to live the comforts of my home, I had no other option than to kill this flag.  I did not wish to be sent into slavery to teach someone's stubborn daughter. I have read how such stories turned out to end.

This novel's true home is a different platform. Support the author by finding it there.

I was well off on my way to becoming an OverPowered Main Character. Though I still fell behind most OP MC I read about in my RE manuals. I was not as perverted as some and even had friends of all genders and age. I was also not able to run 100km per hour with half of ton of weights for an entire day.

That did not mean that I considered myself to be a failure. I was simply above average in most things outside the field of magic. Magic was were my skill really shone.

When I was not in school researching how to advance my art and outside the constant harassment of my new sword master, I started visiting a large library within my school's grounds. However large I thought the library of my home to be, it was nothing compared to my new place of study.

I could not even begin to count the number of books that I could read for free, it was a heaven for any leecher.  It was within this secluded library that I found the secrets texts on forgotten, lost and forbidden sells.   I had set a new personal goal of learning each and every one.
