Announcement! and Update

Hi everyone!

Thank you to everyone who has read book one 'Renewal' A Daughter of Fate

I am happy to announce that Podium will publish this series in June for Ebook and Audio!

Are you excited? I know I am! (Also a little nervous!)

I never thought I would get this far, and all of your support has been absolutely amazing. I couldn't have kept going without you!

The delay in book two has been because I have been editing, revising, and editing again book one for this release.

I have decided not to upload the updated chapters on RR but instead save these for release. There will also be an exclusive chapter from Garret's POV on release, not on Patreon or RR.

I will. However, list below some updates I have made so they make sense for book two.

That's right, book two! I have been working on this when I can and have the first two chapters available on patreon at the moment.

I will upload the first chapter of book one in the next week, BUT I have decided to post one of the exclusive chapters here for you all as a thank you for your support! - So keep your eyes peeled for Callan's Discussion

UPDATES

Fundamental changes:

I removed the mention of Drake, the Lizardfolk. I decided I didn't need this race.

Plant names:

Comfrey = Willowspire

Clove = Bloomvine

Herbiscous = Mistwood

Cloak System:

Added coloured hems to cloaks to better differentiate:

Grey Cloaks hemmed with black = trainee’s Grey Cloaks hemmed with dark grey = Official Foot guard Grey Cloak hemmed with Red / Blue / Brown / Green – Condensation users with affinity set but can't summon yet. Full-coloured cloaks = Affinity reference and can summon. RED = FIRE BLUE = WATER BROWN – EARTH GREEN – AIR / WIND Gold embellishment = higher ranked.

Additions:

A bit more regarding the temple:

Trained Summoners who join willingly become Guardians - They protect the priests

Trainee Summoners who fail to learn Aether Transfer or can not control their Aether may become monks. (Or have their Aether cores blocked)

Amendments in release:

Restructured chapter with Rian and Lynette in the cave after the Baildon attack - Less exposition, more conversation

After resting the night, an extended conversation with Edaurd's water clone and Lynette.
