The creature’s eyes had been staring aimlessly but now they focused. They focused on Iota.
“It’s immobilized right?.” Said Iota looking to Zeno with assurance. “It seems to be, they’ve restrained it for all this time.”
The procession drew to a halt.
“Greetings Gargrim,” Said Langus with a flourish getting up from his seat. “There is much to do little to say.” His amplified voice boomed across the crowds and buildings.
“It is with a heavy heart that I accept the great honor that is ruling Gargrim!.2 He paused for a moment. “My father King Ulgath was a great leader, I hope to be as great of a leader as he was.” He even managed to well up a couple of tears and a sniffle.
“Now onto our plans, as you have all noticed this anima here,” He said gesturing to the massive captured creature.”It is unlike any other anima we have seen before, we will analyse it and use the technology we gain to expand our rightful domain!”
The crowd murmured amongst themselves before slowly erupting in cheers. While the crowd was happy there were those amongst them with worried looks.

The anima strained against its restraints, the metal restraints groaned under the force but it was buried under the roar of the crowds. Its tail broke free and rose into the air. The crowd's cries of celebration changed to cries of fear.
The creature had now freed its limbs as well and was clawing at the shackles binding its massive jaws.
King Langus face turned upside down. “Attack, attack!” He shouted. “Protect your king.”
Soldiers fired at it but their projectiles bounced off.
The tail raised in the air and swiped at an unlucky soldier. Unfortunately for everyone amidst his final moments, he blindly fired hitting right at the mouth shackles damaging them.
The anima guarding the king charged at it with several whoops. Four bit its rear legs while the other two rushed towards its neck.
The anima tore off its final shackle and snapped both of the king’s anima into its mouth. With a flick of its neck they tore in half.
One climbed up its massive back and bite at its eyes. With one stab of its tail it was left with a hole in its chest, it went clean through the anima like a spear. The remaining 3 anima bite and scratched it all over. One managed to rip several wires from underneath its arms. It roared and crushed the anima underneath its foot. The anima’s massive jaws opened, the sharp teeth began rotating to blistering speeds. In an instant it had made scrapmetal of the ones that remained.
“Looks like we still have to fight it” Shouted Zeno panicked. “Get to position," he shouted.
They hid on the side of a building out of the trampling people but still in sight. Iota searched in his bag.
“Ready Sanachi?” asked Zeno.
“Ready!”
“Good.”
“Remember, our success is dependant on how well we work together as a team. Restrain it and kill it” Shouted Zeno above the hysterical people.
Like a team Iota smiled, He had never been part of a team before. It felt good.
