The group soon returned as Sensus and his twin brother Sion were carrying their wounded friend Gonten and Gabriel, with a few other were-tigers keeping a close eye on their human captives.
“You two don’t wait around to get Gonten right away to Xyma, so she can do her work on him.” Gabriel orders once their group has entered the village.
The man wants them to hurry before the people from this village gather around getting in the way. When that task is left to those two to take care of, the other one is the human they have as their prisoner.
Gabriel was once a high-ranking sergeant leading soldiers into battle with himself at the front lines whenever there was to be a war to fight, bandits to erase or territories to be conquered to expand their kingdom for the betterment of the people.
There were times when there were those who surrendered and became their prisoner when Gabriel would learn ways and skills to make one talk when interrogating.
“All right, human, you are going to talk, and don’t try being quiet, playing doubt, or giving me false information. Take any chance on any, and you will be thrown to the people to be ripped to pieces, and trust me, my kin have no problem doing such a job.” Gabriel tells him, giving a nice and warm warning with a smile on his face.
The human barbarian looks at the people of this village and can see those not-so-friendly expressions they are making at him. Lucky enough they aren’t attacking him because one of their own requires the human to be alive and was making his expression in letting them know not to lay a hand on this person.
“Gabriel! I saw Sensus and Sion carrying Gonten; what happened out there on the hunt they were doing? Now, first, Sensus comes back with the group that did not have Gonten, but a human like this one given to the healer and then left with you, his brother, and more people joining you guys. Again, you are back and with one more human and Gonten in a horrible state.” Zely says when witnessing such actions while playing, watching over the children for the day helps out the parents as they do their jobs.
“Zely, calm yourself, Gonten. Life is still inside that body; they are taking him after having that battle with the Tail Ape on his own.”
“A TAIL APE; why was he fighting that kind of creature out on the hunt? No, wait, how could it even happen in the first place? We know there to be a pack of these creatures at a location far away from the village since we made it so to keep our people safe.”
“Relax girl, he had killed the beast alone as its body lay lifeless, says it all, but the boy came out of it in a bad condition. Anyway, this Tail Ape was a young adult one that must have been wondering on its own as the young ones of these beasts do so at a certain age.”
Zely felt impressed about that, but the worry over Gonten is greatly more in feeling taking over inside her body.
“And what this human, he another barbarian you have brought to this village? Why so.” Zely asked, having to take her mind off him for a bit on this matter.
“Well, we caught him holding Gonten, and this savage can speak with common tongue will and understanding. I want information out of him before we are to end his life being the only one to not be passed out or dead like those others.”
“What!? You plan on killing even myself, willing to answer any questions you're going to ask me.”
The human barbarian spoke in surprise to hear he was still going to die, drawing their attention onto him where it soon became a bit awkward when their eyes lay on him.

“What do you think was going to happen? I know your kind from the battles we had back in the eastern lands, tough warriors. I gave them that, but in the end, they were defeated by the will and might of were-tigers,” Gabriel said this in a prideful tone.
“That's insane; I did nothing wrong; I just wanted to find my chieftain to see if he was alive, and so he was when your people were talking. I would have followed, but that Tail Ape and the one named Gonten you keep calling happened, I don't wish to be caught up in the matter unless your friend was in trouble.”
“So you were there from the beginning; good starting point; tell us more.”
“Why should I when now knowing that I’m not going to live afterward, I rather die now,”
“Oh, alright then.” Gabriel has done a quick grab with one at the human barbarian throat bringing the body up into the air.
The man put the right amount on the throat to feel like the neckbone was about to break. During this those of the others were-tiger start to cheer him on to kill the human.
Yet Gabriel has no such intention right this moment; this was to help in changing the person's mind with their decision.
Just a few seconds longer the men see the human is losing strength after struggling soon to end up in a state of passing out. Gabriel, let's go at the right time before that happens, watching him hit the ground on his knees, coughing and inhaling fresh air into his legs.
Zely crotch down to this human level to speak to him.
“You should be wise and talk; Gabriel was being kind not to have snapped your neck right there.” Zely's tone sounded cold to send chills down his spine from someone looking so innocent as to say such words like this.
“Fine, I will talk…. I’m one of the survivors from our tribal group which came under attack from an ambush by another tribe. Nearly all of us were almost taken out, but our chieftain acted fast as the leader he was taking control of and stayed behind to fight off the attackers while those of us could get away.”
“That is not something new. Your people would kill each other for a normal day-to-day thing. Yet what I care more about is why your tribe was passing through those woods. There is no way barbarian tribes were living in those parts unless they were deep within those parts, but that is something we don't have interest in looking at.”
“It is because a great change has happened to the people of the mountains.”
What he just said does make Gabriel a bit concerned that the look of expression on his face tells this one to go further in talking.
“The mountain king has passed away and this created a power struggle among the descents. In which a war has broken out that involves all the tribes.” This barbarian says.
Now, this time, the people of the village start making noises among each other. It seems this topic can't be discussed outside of the open anymore because of how serious it has just now become.
“All right let's have this conversation in a more private setting. I don't need everyone to keep on hearing about such a serious matter, and I don't want to cause panic.” Gabriel seems to not like the change that has come where it might become a problem for their people.
“Then, I shall see Gonten, I think being by his side is something I should be doing.”
“Very well, when Gonten comes to awake, let me know this is something he would have to hear when taking the role of a leader.”

“Quickly! Bring him inside.” Xyma says to the twins already having a gut feeling something wrong has happened.
Incurable, the woman was correct seeing these two young brothers carry the very wounded Gonten inside her hut used at times at the healing place whenever one needs her care.
“Lay him over there,” Xyma tells them.
Sensus and Sion carefully put their friend down on the floor of this hut. On the other side, there is the sleeping wounded Barbarian that was met on the hunt before the Tail Ape showed up.
Her daughter, besides that person, checked to make sure he was already there, and when a new patient came into this hut. Shock Mona came to be when it was Gonten looking so horrible with those deep black and blue bruises all over the body and a few lots of cuts there too bleeding.
“All right, what do you want me and my brother to do next?” Sion Asked the healer, wanting to do whatever he and his brother could to help out.
“Nothing you two can get out of this. My role is to act in, and besides, my daughter is here as well, don’t forget that.”
“But….”
“Sensus and Sion out now, I don't have time to waste with words on you both when Gonten needs me more than ever.”
The twin brothers look at each other for the moment but obey the woman knowing Gonten should be well taken care of. They leave the hut while Mona comes to her mother's side keeping herself together when inside, she is in a complete state of worry over a person that Mona cares for.
“Mona takes off his pants while I gather the healing ointment made from the flowers and fruits we use.”
“What!?... Mother, you can’t be…”
“Girls just do it! There is no time to be all shy and embarrassed to take the pants off, all over his body is damaged and beaten on the outside and inside. So please do what I ask as it is important we are to act soon, or his life might not be able to be saved in time.”
