Defeated, for the moment, was hit with a feeling of being defeated, something he has come to know what it is like to be beaten. Gonten may still be alive, but the question to ask is how long will that be for in this situation?
The Tail Ape stops its celebration and looks down at Gonten seeing him looking back at it. The beast removes its foot from him and starts to walk away, deciding to leave Gonten this way; he is not worthy of being preyed to bring back and will die as he is lying on the ground in these woods for whatever else in these parts may come to find his corpse tasty to feed on.
“So it's just going to walk away, leave me like this, that's going to hurt my part, there is no way, I’m just going to let it end like this. The road may be over, but this fight still goes on.” Gonten thought.
He forces his body to get up. The first try failed with no single muscles, the second tried a little bit of movement, and finally, the third try brought the power into the whole body. Slowly Gonten bites down on his teeth till fully standing up in the condition he is now.
Gonten then had to take care of the dislocated left arm when it came to be undone while it was being pulled by the strength. He had to forcibly pop it back in alone. That doesn’t mean this left arm is fixed and needs time to heal and further string on it as the condition it is in now will make things worse for a no return.
“Hey, you stupid Tail Ape, this fight isn’t done as I have said before; you're going to have to kill me for it to mean the end,” Gonten says.
The Tail Ape turned back again to see this little prey kept on being annoying and yet the beast had a bit of respect for the stubbornness.
“My name is Gonten, son of the late warriors of Gonten and Beisa, descent of the divine almighty of the Great tiger. This fight is to be my test to see that I am worthy as a warrior, worthy to be a descendant, so this is to be one of the many fights this life of mine has to go through, and I have to pass them no matter what. Only death may stop me, but I will fight that as well, now let the second round get started and see who is to be the one left alive.” Gonten says with a voice of one who needs no fear in tone and heart.
The Tail Ape roars while raising both arms in the arm to perform one last final attack to bring a stop to it all. Gonten doesn’t move, instead attacking at the same time, seeing there to be an opening to send a most powerful punch aimed at the stomach.
Once that fist made contact with the Tail Ape's stomach where Gonten made sure to put all his strength into this punch. It indeed worked as the beast felt the impact where the huge body got sent back a step or two while it held its arms around the area that was just hit.
That expressional face of pain is seen, and this is another opening to further attack where the head of the Tail Ape head was at the right level to strike. Gonten takes the chance, but what he does is something quite primitive when he has his hands grab the sides of the head and use his mouth to bite at the side of the beast's face.
Then, tearing away, taking a piece of face, flesh, and blood in his mouth while at the same time, the Tail Ape screams at the top of its lungs that no one can't be able to hear.
Gonten jumps back right as the Tail Ape tries smashing him with its left hand, but the ground is the only one to be hit, and he takes that same left arm as a way to walk up the stairs, getting right back onto the beast's back.
This time, he jumps a little up in the air once reaching all the way and then has both hands together into one ball, slamming hard upon the head of the Tail Ape, where it fell a bit toward the ground.
A little pain shocks it way back to Gonten since the left arm had just popped back, he endures it and goes on forward to attack the beast. Yet its tail came again to get in the way, but Gonten acted and used his claws to cut the tail right when it was about to touch him.

No doubt, feeling that going on a rage page makes him have to hold on and not let go; the Tail Ape goes on to seek a tree to smash Gonten into. After it had tried to shake Gonten off, but he wasn’t going to give up and made his move before it had another go.
Getting back to the top and doing a headlock when an arm can get around the neck, and when it does, Gonten goes all out in choking it to death. The Tail Apes does whatever to struggle free trying to reach behind to grab him, he made sure that the beast couldn’t and kept going in putting all the pressure Gonten will up against the neckbone.
He roars while doing so, losing himself a little in the process that works well when the Tail Ape is beginning to get weaker. Losing power in strength, Gonten noticed seeing this to be the end, but he was wrong. The Tail Ape made a desired move when throwing it down backward into the ground hard.
The beast felt the arm around its neck begin to loosen up, telling it that what had just been done was work, and Gonten had finally met his end. Only that wasn’t the case when the Tail Ape was moving its neck away for just about a second Gonten resumed back into choking this beast.
Now the beast was in a trouble position even with all the weight of its body on top of him, but that didn’t matter or that of the blood building within his lungs. Gonten wants this to be the final and to make it, so more strength is required, so the need of the body at this point already at the limit has to go beyond that to get out of this fight alive.
Conjuring some hidden strength deep within Gonten uses it to pull off in snapping the neck of the Tail Ape. This is to be a means of a shocking accomplishment the young Gonten had brought to reality something he alone finds to be true when his own hands had broken the neck.
When it has been settled, Gonten moves to the best of his ability to get out from under the dead beast. Afterward, he looked upon the dead Tail Ape's face and that lifeless expression on it; he soon went on to get on top of the body standing on it.
Taking a deep and releasing the most powerful roar to be shouted out, a type of roar of a were-tiger warrior lets out to be known that he or she is victorious in a fight and for those who have yet to cross paths to take this as a warning.
Gonten finishes and so loses all that rushing blood-pumping iron comes to cool down, and that will fight on is no more. Falling backward, his body was about to hit the ground, but suddenly a new figure showed up, someone unknown to Gonten.
“Hold on, don't lose your light after all you have given to stay alive in the aftermath of the fight.” This stranger says with a voice filled with admiration for him.
“Who…. are you.”
Gonten asked the question while feeling the heavy system of great drowsy taking over as the eyes were not at the best to keep focus with the sight vision. So far, what he can tell is this mystery person is a male, but the features of what the male looks like are too much to get.
Gonten soon loses the power to stay awake, passing out which brings about worry to the male stranger holding him.
“Hey! Do you hear me? Stay awake? You can’t let these wounds be your end. Stay strong.” The stranger said, shaking him trying their best to keep him awake.
“Get your hands off him!”
Another voice is heard as the one holding Gonten looks to see themselves surrounded by a large number of the same species with tiger ears and tails. They had their wooden spear pointed right at the person who could tell themselves they were in a situation of their life in danger if not acting soon.
It is clear to me that this group is brought to this location by Sensus finally returning to witness this human barbarian male holding his good friend in their arms. He saw it best to take action and end this life before anything could be done to his good friend.
“WAIT! I’m no enemy to you or that one to be a danger to your friend here, only to give aid.” The male barbarian spoke seeking to keep his life from ending in death when a mission on hand is yet to be completed.
Sensus halted his attack and took a moment to think while eyes looked at Gonten's wounds and then at the dead Tail ape lying on the ground. Some of the other were-tigers were quite more interested in that dead creature's body, most likely having thoughts as to how this thing came to be slayed.
There are doubts that the human barbarian could be able to kill the Tail Ape alone. Gonten, on the other hand, there is a possibility he may have, and the person to think that to be true does Sensus have a gut feeling his friend killed it alone, a story to hear from the source.
“Weird for such a barbarian to speak the normal tongue. Doesn't come across that often in our life,” Sion says among this group.
“Agreed brother, just like the last one, he was able to speak a bit of the common tongue the same as that other guy; Strange it feels.”
“Whatever the case, we have no time to spend talking about this, Gonten is in a state of life and death because of these wounds on him. The healer must see to him quickly in doing what she can to heal them.”
Gabriel had a serious point that the twin brothers had to focus on their friend being most important as of now.
“All right, let's get Gonten back to the village and take this guy with us as well. I guess he can be useful in filling us with information better than the other guy who is with the healer at the moment.” Gabriel orders.
The others agreed, moving fast to remove Gonten away from the human barbarian, who soon gets made to stand up and walk ahead as two were-tigers, making sure he understands they would not hold back to stab him if anything funny happens.
Unexpectedly, he doesn't show any resistance toward them and obeys something since, in this situation, it benefits this person, with the mission being to bring him to this arena with dead bodies and witness a fight between Gonten and the Tail Ape till the end.
Now all he can do is wait until reaching their village as his life will be in their hands.
