“Uuuuuuuuehhh”

I stretch while leaning back on my chair. I think I’ve got used to being a girl already.

Any ways it was a little way past 13 o’clock  at night, everyone had already fallen asleep in the plane room I was in, including Erica. I’ve just finished reading about all the science and engineering skills  that god gave me, even if I know it all already I don’t think it’s fair that everyone here worked there butts off to get here and I didn’t do anything.

“Buzzz Buzzz”

My phone started ringing and the only person with my phone number  is Amanda, so I answered it.

“Hello?” (Eli)

“Hi! How’s  everything! I missing you so much right now!!” (Amanda)

“I’m fine Amanda, how are things over there?” (Eli)

We talked more about how things were and where we were, but  I eventually said I had to sleep, so she hang up.

Anh time for bed. I Propped the seat back like the others, covered myself with a blanket, and slept soundly.

It’s been 6 days since we’ve been in space. You would think that we would have warped  already but this ship is sadly not equipped with that function.

These past few days had been fun, because  Erica and I had visited new rooms in the space traveler like the game room and music room. Erica played the bassoon while I played the violin. We went to one of the jacuzzi rooms on the ship and stayed there for hours…

There was also some time where Chloe and her group tried to ruin my life again but I made them think otherwise. They also tried to get Erica to join their group, but she outright refused like any good friend would.

It was now 4 in the morning, today we were planning on going to the hangar of this place to look around at 9 o’clock, but a loud boom sound from the outside woke everyone up.

“Wha..t..s….go..ing..on..uhh?” (Erica)

Erica, who is partly awake asked the question on everyone’s mind. I knew what was happening two days ago due to my enhanced eyes, I spotted a spaceship which the space travelers sensors hadn’t spotted yet. This spaceship wasn’t just any old ship, it was the stolen prototype battleship the NSC (national spaceship confederation) had developed for a military organization called the Aura.

...I hoped it was just passing by but my hopes were misplaced, it was attacking us.

“We are being attacked by a battleship outside!” (Eli)

“WHAT!!” (Erica)

I know it is surprising that this would happen at this time. I was trying to thinking of a way to help, when the captain of the ship came on.

“A battleship has engaged us in a battle, but everyone stay calm. The ship appears to be the stolen ship from the NSC from two weeks ago. It is too strong for us to fight.”(captain)

People did not stay calm and were in full panic now. The ship we were up against had armor so thick that we couldn’t scratch it even if we use this space traveler’s weapons. Even if the NSC managed to turn off all the weapons on the battleship, the main weapon is still up in running and that is powerful enough to take a fleet of space fighters on.

The main weapon uses a powerful gamma ray blast whose power increases the farther enemy is.

I got up from my seat and took off to the main bridge.

“Eli, where are you going?!” (Erica)

“Wait here, I’m coming back!!” (Eli)

I took the transporter in the hallway to the bridge. Luckily no one was guarding the doors, but the doors were sealed shut. If I’m not wrong, this ship has only been running for four weeks now, so I don’t think they had the time to change the default code….

I punched in 8888 in the keypad and the door slid open to find the captain and the other crew members staring at me.

“Hey your not suppose to be in here, and how did you get the code?!” (Crew member A)

“That attacking ship’s weapon has been disabled by the NSC before it was stolen, only the main weapon is operation.” (Eli)

They were silent for a while, trying to decide if they could trust me.

“And how do you know this?” (Captain)

“The NSC said it on the news.” (Eli)

“You’re the 1st place qualifier from earth, right?” (Captain)

I nodded then he said,

“why not the more help we get the better, inform the others on the ship that we need all the help we can get.” (Captain)

“But captain she isn’t...!” (Crew member B)

“Be quiet and follow your captain’s orders.” (Captain)

The captain gave me control over the space traveler, so if this is going to happen then so be it! First we need to do something.

“Okay, what was the damage just inflicted to the us?” (Eli)

The crew looked at each other and shrugged then someone answered,

“One of the main engines were heavily damaged, but the repair crew is on it.”

“Good, then how long can the shield hold till it breaks through again?” (Eli)

Someone else replied,

“50%!!”

“Perfect, captain monitor the ships shield and tell me how much is left while I go and fix the engine.” (Eli)

I took a communicator and turn to leave but the captain said,

“Wait, how long will it take to fix the engine?” (Captain)

“Give me two minutes.” (Eli)

I left the bridge and took the transporter to the engine room. I called Erica and told her to gather as many people as she can, head for the hangar, and wait for me.

I arrived at the engine room grabbed some tools and went to the damaged engine, where people were bustling around.

I went into the engine and recalibrated the energy plasma pump, closed the rip in the pipes, and the engines walls. After that I went back out and flipped on the switch and the engine came back to life.

I left the engine room as the crew dropped what they were holding in utter surprise.

I called the captain through the communicator and was about to ask how long we have when a bigger bast was heard. Then the captain screamed,

“We now have 20% worth of shield till the shield is broken!!” (Captain)

“Keep updating me!” (Eli)

I went to the hanger where Erica and the people she gather were. There were twenty of them in all....I’m surprised Chloe and her gang come though…

“Okay, could you all take a shock stick from the storage, go to where the repulsion shield modules are, and keep on blastin’ it till I say stop.” (Eli)

Although they didn’t know why, they still did it without questioning. Chloe was about to say something but a guy from her group dragged her away before she could.

I went back to the bridge of the ship and took control. I put the ship on lockdown mode so nothing works or gets out of whack while I’m doing this.

“Who ever is manning the shield, when I give the word switch to repulsion shield!” (Eli)

Before they could reply I turned the ship and went straight for the battleship. When people saw what I was doing they gasped, closed their eyes, and waited.

The ship fired another gamma blasts at us but I shouted,

“Switch now!!” (Eli)

In that instant the shields switch to repulsion and the gamma blast was sent back toward the battleship. This broke the shield and hit the second control bridge on the back of the ship.
