It’s been almost a year since I started training with Orrian, since then my everyday has been the same. In the morning, I wake up before sun rise and begin my morning training to increase agility and stamina. After my morning training I would go directly to the training grounds to begin my training in sword skill retaining towards the FirePhoenix fighting style. After my training I would go home to help Luna with her studies and help out my mother at home doing housework. Before going to sleep I would stay up mediating to increase my mana without causing the same mistake I made when I was younger by having more control over the mana flow throughout the body. This has been the same routine that I have followed for the past year to strengthen my body and mana.

We have are getting everything that we need so that we can depart in a week because of this mother and father are busy packing and say goodbye to the people we know so father’s training has stopped for the week.

So I have decided to go to the forest that is outside the village because I have that there are a few magical beast in the forest even if they are weak.

“Wake up Raz” (Cellica)

When mother woke me up in the middle of the night, I thought that something bad had happened because she never did this before.

“Mom, what happened?” (Raziel)

“Nothing really, Raz I just wanted to talk to you alone.” (Cellica)

“Mom if it wasn’t important than couldn’t it have waited till morning” (Raziel)

For some reason, when I am seeing Cellica in front of me, she looked very sad. I have never seen her look so sad and when I continued to see her like that I also became very sad.

“Raz, do you want to know more about yourself and why you look a bit different for us.” (Cellica)

‘Oh, so she was sad because she thought that I wouldn’t stay here with her if I want to find out about my real parents.’

“Mom, you don’t have to worry about it.” I said will I was smiling at her, this caused her to relax and she wasn’t as sad as before.

“Why don’t you want to know about it, Raz?” (Cellica)

“Mom since I have been young I have been wondering about why my hair and eyes looked different yours and dad’s. That is why, when I was younger after my early morning exercise, I would spend a time reading books about it.” (Raziel)

Cellica was flabbergasted when she founded out that I have been trying to find out about me being different since I was young. What she couldn’t have know is that I can clearly remember how my father looked and I know why and how I end up with them.

“Then why didn’t you come and ask one of us Raz.” (Cellica)

“Well mom, I didn’t really have to because even if I am not your real son, you and dad have treated me as your own son. I don’t want that to change at least until I have gone to the academy because I think that if I found out about them I might do something that I will regret late.” (Raziel)

“Raz don’t you want to know more about your parents?” (Cellica)

“To tell you the truth mom at the beginning I really did want to meet my parents and ask why they left me here and what happened to them but now mom all I want to know is what really happened to them to cause them to not want to be with me.” (Raziel)

When Cellica heard this, she immediately brought me closer to her and hugged me. Even though she was relieved that I wasn’t going to go anywhere, she was still saddened by the fact that she couldn’t do anything other than look over me.

“Mom, can I ask why did you all of a sudden ask me about it?” (Raziel)

“Sorry for asking about it right now but I didn’t know whether or not the people in the capital will accept the fact that you are part of our family. That is why I didn’t want to let you hear about this from anyone else and get hurt because of this. Anyways go back to sleep, don’t you have to train tomorrow morning again.” (Cellica)

“Alright then mom, good night mom.” (Raziel)

“Goodnight Raz.” (Cellica)

Cellica pull up my bed sheet and kissed me on my forehead and headed towards the door before turning around to see me ones more. When she realized that I have ones again fallen a sleep she head towards her and Orrian’s bedroom.

When I had confirmed that Cellica’s footsteps were further away from my room I got back up and started to training because after I have had the talk with Cellica I realized that I haven’t been think about my real parents at all. Since I have been with Cellica and Orrian I have only need look at make me stronger so that I can survive in this world rather than finding out what happened to my real parents and why they left me here.

From what I have heard about my father, Tyrath, he is the last of the True Dragon which aren’t mindless beast and also transform into humanoid beings. He was a rank 7 warrior when he was part of Orrian’s adventure group but it is been almost 15 years since then so he might have become a rank 8 warrior by the time he was attacked. This means that how every it was that cause him to retreat with just his son must have been the same rank or even a rank 9 warrior. This means that I have to reach that level before I can safely go and search for my parents but before that I need to find proof that they are both still alive before I go searching for them.

While think these stuff I entered my mediative state, in the mediative state I was able to fully utilize my brain power to think very closely on the fact about my parents and how I am going to find them in the future.

Like that, the morning came and I had to get ready for my early morning training. Due to the plans I have made today to go to the forest and train I have to bring extra luggage such as food, water, few bandages and a real sword because I will be hunting the magical beasts for the first time so I have no clue what to bring with me on me.

Because I have been waking up earlier than everyone in the house I have had to creep out of the house without wake up anyone else. As I exited Orrian’s house and was heading towards the front gate of the village. I saw someone I didn’t think would be wake at this time of day.

“Good Morning, Uncle Aeson.” (Raziel)

“Oh Raz, Good Morning to you too. What you doing so early?” (Aeson)

“I was heading to the river to start my morning training. By the way, what are you doing up so early, Uncle Aeson.” (Raziel)

“Well Raz because today is my day off I had a little too much fun last night and slept there. Hahaha.” (Aeson)

“Well Uncle, it is good to enjoy your life but you should try to moderate it a little so that you don’t get addicted to it.” (Raziel)

“Raz, when I talk to with you. I can’t be sure who is the more mature one you or me.” (Aeson)

“Hahaha, Uncle I seem to be getting late for my morning training. I will see you late then.” (Raziel)

“Raz, I don’t think that anyone will blame you for being late since you’re the only one part of the morning training. But I guess you need to go so I will see you later then.” (Aeson)

“Alright Uncle, I will see you later.” (Raziel)

After I greeting Uncle Aeson I headed straight to the river where I have been practicing since I was five years old. The morning training went on without any disturbance, as I was practicing some of my past sword skills, which I have enhanced with the help of the battle Qi.

After my morning training, I headed towards the forest that I wanted to train at. As I was getting farther way from the village, the density of the trees were getting thicker and thicker and I was able to sense more animals in the forest. I wanted to fight with magical beast that were in this forest so I that I can test out my old skills against animals of this world to be sure if they will be useful against them. As an assassin in my past life, I can be sure that I can kill anyone with me assassination skills but that doesn’t work well with the magical beast.

As I continued to explore the forest while fighting small groups of goblins, slimes and one or two group of wolves. I started to hear someone or something talking around me and it was only growing as I headed farther into the forest. It was getting to the point that it was annoying because they are were talking about me but I couldn’t see them and me enhanced hearing was going haywire because they are all around me.

I couldn’t take this anymore so I stop and started to yell at whoever was there. When I started to yell at them to stop hiding from me, suddenly lots of bright yellow light started to glow around me. Some of them were sitting on top of me head, some started to pull my hair and shirt.

All of them were either wondering why I was able to speak their language or they just didn’t care about it and only wanted to play and pull pranks on me. As they didn’t seem to want to answer my question, I stopped trying to talk to them and continue onwards with my exploration of the forest to find more hard magical beast.

“Hey, what are guys doing to that elf? Don’t you know that we aren’t allowed to bother them as long as they don’t come closer to the Fairy’s Fountain in the middle of the forest.” (Unknown Fairy) (Gnommish Language)

“Bu..but Freesia, he was talking in Gnommish so we want to know how he could understand it plus his mana is pure so we were attracted to him. We are sorry, Freesia.” (Fairy 1) (Gnommish Language)

‘So it was him that attracted me towards him so I can’t really blame them for getting attracted towards him. Let’s try to find out if he really can talk Gnommish and what is he planning to do here.’ Freesia thought.

Suddenly a bright glow that I haven’t noticed till now appeared very close to me, this shocked me because this is the first time anyone has been able to get closer to me than Orrian without me noticing.

“Hey you Elf boy, if you can understand what I am saying can you nod or say something in Gnommish.” (Freesia) (Gnommish)

“I am sorry I don’t know what Gnommish is? But I think that it is rather rude to talk to someone without showing yourselves.” (Raziel)

Right after, I had said that the bright glow that I have been talking too started to dim. As soon as the the light dimmed, I saw a very beautiful and cute little girl around the same age as me.

“Oh, I am sorry. I haven’t had to talk to anyone other than people from my race, the fairies, who are able to see normally without having to lower the mana wall around us which allows us to more really fast. But what do you me that you don’t know what Gnommish is, if you are talking it.” (Freesia)

Fairies if I remember it properly, the fairies and elves have a good relationship because both of us, are the protects of the forest. So we have always seen eye to eye on almost all of the things that pertains to the forest. But I have heard that even if we are friendly to each other, if someone gets closer to there Fairy Fountain which is where all of the fairies live at. They will not care if we are friendly or not and would harm them regardless of whom they are. But I heard that the last time that anyone has seen them has been more than 200 years, who would have thought that they were right underneath our nose. And what is this about Gnommish and me speaking it. If I remember correctly I have been talking the same way as always. Then only I suddenly remember the three gifts that were given to me when I was reborn. How could I have forgotten the gifts that I personally asked for?

“I am so sorry for having gotten closer towards your home land as I had no clue about it and about me being able understanding your language is something like a special gift.” (Raziel)

“Oh, I have heard about people being born with special abilities but this will be the first time I have seen one with it. Anyways I thing that I have to bring you to see the Fairy Queen so that she can decide what to do with you?” (Freesia)

“Wait the Fairy Queen???” (Raziel)
