Onix wasn't fast or agile enough to avoid the liquid flame entirely. Onix howled in pain as the flaming liquid stuck to his leg and burned through his fur.

"Run into the river, I finish it!" Onix ran to the river in a half panic as Scale took his place.

Scale went over to one of the mud balls and downed the whole thing in one wincing gulp. "God, that tastes awful."

"Why did Scale eat dirt?" Pafen asked Scale somehow, being next to him.

"What the hell! When did you get there? You know what, never mind, I'm testing something to see if I can help Onix." Scale focused on his body to see if it was anything like what he thought it would.

Seconds ticked by as Scale questioned if it he was wrong, but after 30 seconds, a new panel appeared in front of him.
